I know he's not a therapist, so he can only do but so much, but he's a man that these women listen too and you know he knows better. He knows just how far gone they are, but he just throws softballs at them and lets them think they just need a "little tweak" and not a full on personality and perception overhaul.

I don’t understand why these woman want super tall, athletic men when they themselves are unattractive. Statistically, that just makes a very unhappy relationship.
I chose my partner because he’s a provider, over a decade older than me and he behaves like a traditional man. That’s more than enough. It’s my job to remain attractive for him, not the other way around.
Faster Blaster Master Yes, I cook for him every evening I stay at his house, and leave him what I’ve baked during the day. I come over to clean and do his laundry and prepare his lunches to take to work when he’s out.
We’re not married yet, we’ve been together a year. I’m 20 and he’s 32 so I pay my own rent but he pays for anything we do together, and if I was ever in financial trouble (I.e. he paid for my taxi to work for two weeks when I was assaulted on public transport). For me, divorce would be a huge failure. My parents have a long marriage with a traditional set up. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter if I divorce him to get his money because I would never meet another high value man after that. I don’t know what else I can do. I wouldn’t date a broke man - there are biological reasons women want a provider, the same way men want a nurturer.

Edit: one quick point about ‘Heather’; a few years ago I met a woman who told me she didn’t date guys who were shorter than 6’ (I’m 5’9, if it’s relevant) which she seemed to think was acceptable, so I told her that I don’t date women whose bust size is smaller than 36DD. This isn’t true (I don’t care about bust size) but I wanted to get her reaction, and as predicted her - and her friends - told me that I’m shallow. I pointed out that it’s easier for a woman to have breast implants than it is for a man to have leg implants (if they even exist) and left the ladies to mull that one over.

There is a bone elongated surgery. Which originally was used by female models to have longer legs to be more valuable to men. But it can be used for shorter guys. It's still uncomfortable, painful procedure. You need first to break your legs with a medical kind of chainsaw. Then your bones are fixated in metal construction for a while until they will grow towards each other's ends. And with dwarfism individuals, men or women, nothing can be done, because its not only legs, but spine as well.

Ima be honest tho, as someone with admittedly a lot of executive function issues, I found a man who’s both a planner and spontaneous (very good at time management and checking safety/options ahead of time, but not as easily flustered by last-minute changes and encourages me to make decisions without letting my anxious nature take over), and he’s a Godsend I wouldn’t trade for the world. Some things that seem counterintuitive, at least, do make sense given certain contexts, but they can be very hard to express. Largely I think a lot of women are just looking for well-adjusted, good-natured and mature men…who we then also can connect with on a personal level, naturally

There's nothing wrong with having a list, if it's realistic. When I was "husband hunting", here was my list:
1. Practicing & devout Roman Catholic
2. Supports me being a homemaker after the first child is born
3. Wants a LOT of kids, and supports me homeschooling them
I figured all the other important stuff would be covered by #1. I found a man who was everything on that list, and have zero regrets about my choice. I feel very blessed to have him as my husband!
I desire a Catholic husband as well, also preferably be a virgin. I know this isn't significant to everyone but it is a bit to me, just what I'd desire since I am a virgin still as well. Nothing wrong at all if a man isn't a virgin, but is just less of an interest to me. I pray I'm blessed with a good Catholic man someday. I'm working on myself always, to attract just that. That was my response. How does she reconcile these two things. Particularly since they are right next to each other on the list. Like I'm a planner. Even if I'm going to do something with a date that would be considered "spontaneous," I'm going to have every detail worked out in advance long before we get there, and I've played out every scenario I can in my mind.
Now if a woman wants a man who is spontaneous? That's fine. If a woman wants someone who is a planner? That's fine too. However don't demand that someone be both in a manner that is completely contradictory.

One thing I've noticed is that people who are socially awkward or inept will sometimes use being and introvert as an excuse not to develop social skills and then wonder why they have nowhere to go, no one to hang out with, and no one who wants to be around them. Social skills are learned. Just because your introverted is no excuse not to know how to function in social situations. Just being a good conversationalist will instantly give you more value simply because its a skill so many people lack.
This is so true. I’m very introverted, but I’ve been told how charming I am with strangers, and I volunteer a lot at my kid’s school. I am usually exhausted after a lot of socializing, but whatever. I’m not going to let that limit me or limit my kid’s socialization. Fake it till you make it!

Idk why this area of society is so difficult. Both sexes can be overly picky and arrogant in their own ways. It really comes down to the type of person you are.
