Thank you so much for the recommendation! We visited Caratere de Cochon today (8/2024). It was AMAZING! We had Jamón Ibérico Bellota and paprika and red pepper on a buttered baguette. This was probably the best sandwich we've ever eaten! It was 24 euros for one sandwich. Jamón Ibérico Bellota is a special black label ham from pigs raised in Spain and Portugal. Un million de merci
With great pleasure! Yes, the only issue with Caractère de Cochon is their prices which are quite higher than for other sandwich makers around... But if quality and taste are here, I will not complain!
24 € pour un sandwich c’est une blague ? 😂😂 et je vois sur l’ardoise qu’ils osent vendre un sandwich à la choucroute 😩🤪 pourquoi pas un bœuf bourguignon ou une blanquette de veau en sandwich 😂
@@oliviervalladeau2828 It's not a joke. I'm sorry you've never been to Paris. Have you ever been to restaurant anywhere? €24 for any kind of food is nothing today.
My wife and I will be travelling to Paris for the first time in September. We've watched the majority of your videos and they are excellent. We really appreciate them. I made a note to go to Chez Aline for the baguette jambon beurre!
Burgers in America are like Madonnas in Roman Catholic Europe or pasta in Italy, with innumerable recipes originating here. As you know, most of those recipes are credited to entrepreneurs and corporations rather than to terroir, but some are truly unique. And my favorite of those recipes is what we generally call the western burger - melted cheddar, streaky bacon, bbq sauce, and some type of fried onions. Glad to see PNY serving these in Paris, and a cultured gentleman like yourself enjoying them! 😀
There is good food to be found everywhere, even in England, that's saying something! So, of course you can get great burgers in the US (my personal favorite at the burger joint in NY) and in Paris too...
My one quibble is that only these forms of street food are included, when there are so many boulangeries whose incredible creations are almost made to eat on a bench, by the Seine, by a canal, or at a cafe table. But, still, I watch all your videos. Now I want one for my week in Bordeaux, followed by another week in Paris of course.
Wonderful video. French food seems to have very high quality ingredients. Where does such high quality fresh food come from? Is France just filled with farms, ranches, and cheese farms? The US is so industrial and uses so many preservatives, France seems very different.
Yes, in France, even though we do have a lot of agro-industries, we have a huge number of farms dedicated to make the best possible products. If on a product you see AOC, AOP or IGP, you can be sure it has been produced with the highest quality standards.
Since they weren't mentioned in the video, here are the different prices for all the good food I bought: 🥪 Sandwiches CheZAline - Jambon beurre with piquillos: 7,50€ Caractère de Cochon - Coppa + goat cheese and pickles: 14€ Alain Miam Miam - Big Miam Miam with Avocado: 13,50€ 🍔 Burgers PNY - Return of the Cowboy: 13,50€ BLEND - Signature: 13,50€ DUMBO - Cheeseburger: 10€ 🍖 Kebabs Kebab des Batignolles: 6,50 (sandwich) Ozlem: 8,50€ (sandwich), 12€ (plate) Les 4 frères Bedri: 6€ (sandwich), 11€ (plate 🥐 Croissants Carton: 1,30€ Autour du Pain: 1,40€ Chez Meunier: 1,20€
Merci beaucoup, Monsieur. I'm visiting France in April & would like your recommendation for the best circus in Paris. My daughter (14) has never been to one before. 🇿🇦
Those who are not open 7/7 will usually be closed on Sundays or Mondays. They would mostly start serving between 11AM and noon and close at 11 PM or later.
man French know how to make baggettes and know how to fill them, here in Canada we are fake French ! Wish I was back home in the UK, I;d go to France alll the time

Yum! So looking fwd to French food. My mouth is watering from your tasty selections. 😋
More to come soon on French food 😋
Did not appreciate croissants until trying the French variety.
Your videos are very informative.
Would be very good if you included prices.
Thank you.
Thank you!
It's true, and now I always put them... But you have the prices in the first pinned comment below the video.
Great recommendations but the music volume up and down is disturbing!
Thanks for your very valuable comment... I'll make sure that it is less disrupting in the next videos!
I agree with this, a little overwhelming . But amazing content nonetheless.
I'm having the sound level a bit lower in my most recent videos, thanks to these valuable comments!

True. Though I have made other videos on the best cakes or croissants.
Très sympa
Merci !🙏
I think my favorite is salmon Baguette sandwhich❤
If the baguette is good and crispy, any content would be good 😀
when you eat I felling Hangry for your food.
Good! It means my video succeeds in having you want to go there...

Yes, indeed!
Merci beaucoup, Monsieur. I'm visiting France in April & would like your recommendation for the best circus in Paris. My daughter (14) has never been to one before. 🇿🇦
Up to my knowledge, in April, there are only two circus shows available in Paris: Cirque Bormann and Cirque invisible (until April 16th)
@@paristoptips Awesome! We're arriving on the 3rd of April. 😄
I hope you have a great trip! 🙂
The prices were an important part, if you could please add them in a pinned comment, thanks
Great idea 👍 Done!

My pleasure!
Would these be open all days or are they closed on certain days (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday)?

Where?

Yes, French bread is amongst the best...
This said, you have a lot of French bakeries in Canada 🙂
I very much dislike the loud ugly music on your vid.
What kind of music would you prefer?
