Hey guys, thank you for tuning in to watch my very first pregnancy vlog. I usually like to keep my life private but this is such an exciting journey in our lives that I want to share it will all of you, especially since some of you have been following me since the very beginning!

After trying to conceive for almost a year, God blessed us with a child last Christmas! I don't know why he made us wait for so long, maybe he wanted us to savor our time together as a married couple? Well, we did. ^_^ Now we are ready to take on our role as loving parents and embark in the next chapter of our lives.
Needless to say, the first trimester was very worrisome for me. The pregnancy hormones and the emotional mood swings didn't really help either. lol None of my friends have been pregnant so I had to go through this alone. I do have an older sister who was pregnant but she had zero symptoms in her pregnancy (bless her!) so she couldn't relate to me at all. =( If it weren't for my hubby and God, I don't know how I would have gotten through it. There were some days when I'd be in bed for the entire day. When my hubby arrived home from work, I told him that I was disappointed in myself and felt unproductive. He replied, "You shouldn't feel like that. It takes a lot to grow another human being. Did you know that you helped Jellybean grow some fingers and a nose today? How many people can say that?" He read the pregnancy week-by-week book so he always knew what was developing that week. LOL Anyways, that really comfort me and made me change my whole perspective on the first trimester so if you're having a tough time in your pregnancy, just remember that. :)

soo happy for you and your hubby Nee, I'm actually pregnant now too I'm 33 weeks and I had similar symptoms in my first trimester, I lost weight instead gaining,felt bloated and exhausted beyond belief all the time, couldn't stand chicken and eggs when I never had a problem eating that before but it's amazing to just think that a life is growing inside of you and now that I feel the baby move it's even more amazing. Your conceiving and announcement story actually made me cry, we we're the opposite we weren't trying to have a baby and I was actually disappointed for not planning it better but I realized that a baby is a blessing and to think that there are so many couples out trying to conceive but can't made me feel lucky and blessed. Congratulations!!

+RNotelle I didn't want to discourage anyone but I wanted to be honest about it. When we first started trying, we didn't know that it would be quite a long wait and I thought miscarriages happened to people who are older in their 30's. Later we found out that it can happen to anyone and that it's very common. People just don't talk about it.

Pregnancy is actually 10 months!
Not counting conception it's only 9 months. If a pregnancy lasts longer than that it can become dangerous

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Something to help with the itchy skin is baby oil. When you shut the water off after a shower apply it to your skin before you dry off. Speaking from experience, it really helps.

For the eczema try buying an aloe plant not aloe stuff for sunburn but an actual aloe plant from the grocery store, open and scoop out what ever is in it, cut into pieces and store in the fridge. Once you use a piece of aloe do not put back in the container just throw it out and try for once or twice a day.

Bleeding during first timester is not something unusual. Not all the blood is eliminated during each cycle, but we don't realize that because of continuity of menstruation. We have to notice if the spotting is red or toward brown. It happen to me that I was bleeding and I had also cramps during first 2 months, but doctor told me not to worry as she saw the fetus vital signs are ok and only the old blood from my body went out. I am happy for you that you will going to be a mother!

Congrats on the pregnancy. I'm currently in my third trimester and will be 35 weeks tomorrow. For me the third trimester has been trying toughest. Yeah tiredness from the first doubled and then your body aches because it's compensating for te weight you are carrying now.

Congratulations on the pregnancy! My mom had the same dilemma (weight wise) when she was having me. Her doctor told in order to gain weight to drink homogenized milk and within one month, she was in a normal weight range!
