That's probably what surprised you in the first video, everyone that used to get pushed over the edge with damage now barely hang on for another shot. Good to see you back!

Ever since my Cyclops got one-shotted in the back by a rocket Javelin, I've had respect for these builds. (Cyclops can do a really nasty version of this as well.)
The very first video I saw of Baradul's was when he carried nothing but rockets and one salvoed an Annihilator in the back... Still my favorite MWO vid.
I run a similar build sometimes on my alt account, 6 rocket launcher 20s and an erll for backup / early game poking. With double enhanced cool shot and the right pilot skills, you can override and alpha without dying. Usually. About 9 times out of 10 you're fine. It's not as optimized as your build, but still a load of fun
For years, I have used a similar build, but a P2, 2 ams 2 ermed, 1 MRM 40 and all the rockets. Very consistent . However, you should fire rockets on chain. They seem to do more damage.
Sometimes you really, really just gotta start facetanking things and kill the other guy before he kills you lol. That last push at Frozen City was strong.
The Bushy has always been a solid brawler/ HP sponge. Makes for a great day if you have a firemoth for a scout to call the targets on TS. Callsign Darkstar85
Don't worry about rustiness... It just happens in life that we have to keep breaks from games we love. Heh. At least I've had to.. Lot's of personal stuff going on in life lately and a nasty, persistent flu, cold and fever to boot. (Not Covid.)
Hey bara, missing some more fun mwo content, look forward to more Ive been playing a timby with a right arm mounted uac10, ecm, 2 shouldermounted hvy lges and a pair of er meds, got my first 1k damage in a long time. Timby is a great mech, just a shame to only see all laser meta builds
Bara, you ought to try some builds now viable with all the new quirk passes. Lot of lights got some strong buffs. Locust IV with LPPC and MGs is pretty good now. Maybe Commando 2D with ECM, snub, rocktets?
Second vid is a Solhama in captured kit. The weapons were mostly destroyed so the techs slapped in some crude tubes and said "take one with you". Glory may yet be yours.
FINALLY YOU ARE USING THIS I REMEBER WHEN THEY RELEASE THE ROCKETS AND THE MRM I WAS LIKE OMG MY NUKEWACKER IS BACK. you can walk up and burst any assault with the FYI
I guess rockets can work but frankly, they seem to be a bit gimicky to me. You seem to be the only streamer to regularly use them. I love how you say “ Cougarrr” by the way.👍
Yeah, it's just too easy to be pinned down, and you can't effectively engage targets if there's even a slight disparity in team aggression. Only time I've really had fun on it is when I'm in something really light and can get an early flank.
@@Thomas-fz9xw Same. Either a Light or a Medium I'm ok, but Heavy or Assault I'm not too stoked to have that map. Also hate the Snipers on the ring... super annoying.
