I recently joined the sea cadets and we sing this cadence. I want to join the Navy or Marines when I am older. I really enjoy this cadence and it is also one of my favorites.
Looking to join the Navy soon. Just gotta work on losing weight first ( rather not make boot more of a hell than it needs to be ). 24 Year old guy here. 5'5 @ 289lbs. I am just tired of my normal civilian life ( been doing boring warehouse grunt work since graduating high school in 2018. Looking to join the Navy for the experience, and that some of my folks on my dads and moms side served. Looking to join next year or 2026. depends how well I get with losing weight.. dunno what rate i wanna do tho. I am looking at the Nuke Rates ( I get the jist of what these folks do after doing some research ), AIRR, Air Traffic Control, EOD, SWCC and some others. I just dunno what to choose lmfao. they all sound interesting. Ik that the Nuke Rates and ATC will transfer well once you get out of the Navy. But still, hard choice to make xd. I still have plenty of time to research, and decide. I am in the process of losing weight anyways.
Good for you young man. Pick an MOS that will serve you in the civilian world after you get done with your enlistment is up. As far as losing weight, I dropped 51 pounds (226.5 down to 175) in less than a year by changing my diet and walking 10 to 12 miles a day. GOOD LUCK.

Good luck. I graduated nov 7th. You’ll have a great time. It’s easy if you’re somewhat in shape.
