I was at the event. You were both so lovely and down to earth. Allana crushed it as the host. I can’t believe you sat there signing books for 2 hours and spent time talking to everyone, taking a photo with them. Wishing you much success with your book!

Hey Anna - would you mind doing an entire dedicated video on the away suitcases? I am contemplating on buying a set for me and my BF, but idk which sizes to get and i dont know whether they are worth the price, taking that i have never had to buy travel equipment before

Anna! ❤️ I live in Toronto and I tried really hard to make it to the event, but my social anxiety won out in the end :( it was such a shame because you’re the UA-camr I’ve been watching the longest, who I still watch years and years later, and I also loooove Allana and it would’ve been lovely to meet you both. But I’m so glad you had a great time here!
I spent all weekend reading An Edited Life and highlighting passages and putting sticky notes on handy pages and I was weirdly emotional about how proud of you I was. I found it especially important that you started the book off acknowledging that your specific circumstances (young adult, child-free, working from home etc) and how that means your methods and ideas may not line up with someone who isn’t in a similar situation, like a mother who works in an office. Though I always knew I’d buy this book in support, I was nervous about it not having any relevant information for me - a young mother who is also a full-time university student. I don’t know how I ever doubted you! It’s been so useful anyway, and I can make any of your guides and tricks work with a little tweaking to fit my own lifestyle. What’s more is that I have depression and it gets really hard to want to take care of myself or clean up my living space or things like that, but this book is kind of like having an expectant, but well-meaning friend telling me I need to get up and finally do the laundry I’ve been avoiding for two weeks. What I guess I’m trying to say is, thank you for the kick in the ass to get my life sorted out, and I’m super proud of you and hope you come back in the future so I can hopefully catch you then x 👍🏼

I was able to meet you on Monday and thank you so much! It was such a lovely experience! In speaking with other people at the event we were blown away by not only you taking the time to meet 100+ people but still being so genuine and kind with each of us! Being able to meet two of the few bloggers I still keep up with one of whom lives half way across the world really was incredible! I'm glad you're enjoying your time and you both made my week by being your beautiful selves. Started the book Monday and I'm really enjoying it! Congrats!

Anna you were wonderful! Your chat with Allana at Indigo books was full of insight and was a treat for all of us in attendance. I was the "Mom" in the front row who bought two books - one for me and one for my daughter Hannah Jane (you signed her copy - thank you!). Please come back to Toronto with your husband in the summer - you will love our lakefront and some of the really interesting neighbourhoods like the Annex (by the University) and the St. Lawrence neighbourhood (home to the world's best farmers market according to National Geographic).
