I need a housesiter for my cat from April 8-14. I live in the Canary Islands, Spain!! Im going skiing with my family but the week after the travel I have holidays (I study medicine so I dont get those really often) and I could show you around the island/the other 7 islands that are only a 1h boat away. I’ve been watching your videos since covid started and I feel like you would really enjoy the european/tropical vibe here :)) ps: my cat is called chai and is SUPER cute

Feels so nice to hear about a love for Indian cuisine, haven't been there since I was a kid. Making chai tea with all the fresh spices hits even harder. If you are looking for some vegan Indian cuisine recipes, I would highly recommend sambar and shahi paneer. They are my favourite Indian dishes!

It’s refreshing seeing new videos from you especially when sharing some raw moments of your life with us. It inspires me to get out of the ruts I constantly find myself in. Something I’m scared to do is simply improve, that applies to a lot of things in my life, but I am so scared of failure that taking the next steps to improve with something are super daunting. I know in my heart failure is part of learning, and I can’t improve if I don’t even know how to fail, let alone succeed, but I’ve never really been encouraged after failure in my life, so it’s hard to shake that mindset. I want to take control now though, and not let this fear steal my life from me. I want to let go of it and explore the joy within each step of learning and improving. The first step is to just do it, try, I hope no matter how long this journey might be that I will find at least some success :). Your videos inspire me to take this step, thank you Leah!

That pup is so well behaved!! I love pet sitting so much, I used to do it in college and I think that’s my true calling 😭 also I love to plan things during the week with friends since we work 9-5s but on the weekend be spontaneous outings and things. Loved the vlog as usual 🤍🤍

My biggest fear was to leave my home even for just a short time like a week. Travelling with my boyfriend feels so right and I love seeing new places and meeting new people! But it's so hard to leave when I stress about if my family will be ok without me. If they need my help or if they feel like I neglected them.. but I have been getting better at this.

A tip from a owner of 3 dogs 🥰:
I noticed that you put Georgias leash on upside down. The thick fabric part is supposed to go on her chest/belly, so that her throat is safe in case she ever pulls on the leash. The lead you hold will then also be on top of her back and body and give you more control if something were to happen during your walks, and you would have to hold her back or something like that. Just thought that might be useful information if you’re gonna dogsit more.

Omg it’s insane how similar our lives have been recently?! I’ve been coping with a similar breakup and also made a lot of Japanese curry while housesitting for some friends in March (they had a cat though)!!

Fun fact: in Greece we also have a traditional tomato-egg dish! Its called "kajanas" and looks a bit mushier than what u made! Very yummy

@@leahsfieldnotes actually both places I’ve worked at no longer exist, but throughout the four months of work traveling in Latin America, I definitely grew the most fond of Mexico and Peru. Oaxaca was my absolute favorite in Mexico :) if you can find good workaway there it would be really really fun and culturally enriching.

I love getting updates on what’s doing on. Something that I’ve been battling with is the feeling of being left out. It’s kinda like seeing the world go round but your sooo out of the loop. It’s crazy! But any whom, I’m still working on myself and my craft. Watching your videos makes me feel less left out, you know?
Also regarding planing on the future I would take one or two months at a time. The present is such a gift, and your doing great with what you have. Keep going!

2:27 hey Leah that's not a hate comment at all but if you guys ever see the dog, that you don't know 100%, eating then please don't pet them while they eat. Many dogs can bite you if you pet them during their meal and that's justified. But I believe Leah, you know this dog well enough so I got nothing to worry about

Ahhh the snow is so pretty! And Georgia is so cute!! And now I want Japanese curry but I just ate butternut alfredo! Also, yay for Workaway. I never used the site but I did spend a while travelling and volunteering at different animal rescues and places in France, Thailand, Japan and Australia. Now I live in Scotland and have my own sanctuary and I'm planning to get a volunteer caravan this spring / summer so I can host Workaway peeps!

I'm scared to give my best because i feel like I know that I will fail i tried this before and i did fail and i didn't take the failure so well although ik i didn't give my best but i did try to do so it got so exhausting and not getting the results after all the efforts i put into it absolutely shattered my heart so here I am now to try anything and give it my best shot being afraid that I'll fail on the first try although it's natural and you have to fail to learn but now it's something in scared of i have to overcome this i hope i do this as soon as I can cause it's getting a bit problematic hehe thank you for reading whoever read this ❣️

I'm scared to move to a new place. I'm about to be 24 and this move is so much scarier than the moves I made at 18 and 21. I think I'm more afraid partly because I've taken fewer risks during covid and partly because as I get older I've come to doubt my abilities more. I don't know how to get through this phase of feeling but I'm going to make the move anyways and put effort into reminding myself how capable I really am. Wishing you the best Leah!
