If you're looking for a way to tackle debt without feeling overwhelmed, the Snowball Method could be perfect for you. It focuses on paying off your smallest debts first, building momentum as you go, and creating that "snowball" effect toward financial freedom! If you're concerned about earning interest and are very mathematical in tackling your debt, the Avalanche Method is right for you. By focusing on the debt with the highest interest rate first, you could save money in the long run by paying off your high-interest debt first. Either way, with an additional $400 a month (as used in this example), as long as you have a plan, becoming debt-free is within reach.
📊 In this video, you’ll learn:
How the Snowball Method works
How the Avalanche Method works
Why starting with smaller debts can build confidence
Why paying off high interest debts first can save you more money
Practical tips to make both of these plans work in your life
A step-by-step breakdown to help you follow along and start tackling your own debt today!

Thanks so much for this motivation, Aja!! As a result of watching your journey, I finally started budgeting in Q4 of 2024 and on track to be debt free by Dec. 2032!!!
Thank you for this video! I’m working really hard to pay off my debt this year.
good luck!
Thanks for sharing these methods. Debt freedom provides peace of mind.
Great video Aja! Hope you will upload more😊
@@NoraTKD will try to!
Why one or the other method? You can combine both! Start with the smallest debts first, clear a couple then when you have momentum then switch to avalanche to save on interest
@@LoubinaA you definitely can do that if you want
I missed you! So happy you are back! ✨
@@anamariae thanks!

Yes! Being organized is best if you need a plan
Love ya keep up the great videos Aja
thank you!
I’m down to 2 CC from 6😅. It’s been a ride but I’m down to the end. 7k left. 😩😩😩
What if I have 2 cards left
(1) lower balance and horrible rewards
The other higher balance and interest however I need to continue using it for work reasons which I get reimbursed a month later. So this one will not close however I want to bring down the balance. Should I pay 75% on the high and 25% on the lower one?
❤thank you for your great advice! I’m might add how beautiful 😊you are and so easy to watch!! ❤
Hey Aja can you make a vid on how you feel about velocity banking for clearing debt?
@@elijahestrada2355 I’ve never heard of them before but I’d always be cautious with something that promises debt relief. Read the fine print.
