Magnificent. Hendrix called them the best band in the world (that was already a somewhat different lineup from this one). Mix could be better on this; it's hard to hear Fripp's swirling guitar under the blaring mellotron in the most intense moments. But the performance shows just how tight and versatile they were amidst all that power. Fripp's ensembles over the years have pushed the limits of the rock-ensemble medium the furthest, I think, to a level of sophistication rarely achieved.
once upon a time there was Art Rock
The great stars of art/prog rock still shine bright. Great music never dies.
Powerful!
Great. King crimson..🎸
Robert Fripp on guitar of course .... blistering performance
