I am really really glad to find a Uk drone You tuber. I just bought my 2nd drone Which is M/Air2. But I like someone to take the time to explain the new cummers to the A-Z. How to download the software then what to do!! simply basic Tutorial, then all the Technics.

Just bought one of these and according to DHL it's on its way from China. Hopefully it's in the hold of an aeroplane and not trying to make its way to the UK on its 3 batteries at 34 mins each! Good vid - I'm not a fan of unboxing stuff as it's a bit of a spoiler but thanks for pointing out where stuff is stored that I'd have missed. As I said, I'm in the UK so I can safely chuck 2 of the ND filters as they're for really bright conditions and on those 2 days of the year, I'll probably be in work. You're spot on with the CAA test, really easy and to be fair, if you can't pass it, you really shouldn't be out of your house, never mind flying a drone.

Usual excellent review. I got the Mavic 2 Pro about a year ago. It looks to have the same camera as the new Air2 which is superb. Unfortunately, it’s becoming harder to find places to fly and the keep-in-sight rule is also inhibiting. I cracked and bought the Mavic Controller as well which has a really bright screen and good for use in bright sunlight - excellent but not cheap.
That’s great! You’re right about the places to fly, fortunately where I live there’s fields upon fields so it’s not a problem. Just a little boring. The new laws later this year will be a good thing though.

5:26 I actually had no idea that the hub charges the batteries in that way. I just got the Mavic Air 2 fly more pack in the mail yesterday (im in Florida lol) and I plan on taking it out to a nice long trail by my house tomorrow. I already registered it and did some basic set up, and charged all of the batteries individually first to get them out of hibernation mode, but I was curious as to why it seemed like only one battery would be charging and the order would change when I put the other batteries on the hub lol. I’ve got this drone. Only had it a few weeks and it’s pretty good. Much better than the Typhoon H I got two years ago. What a load of crap that was. The first one (yes I had two!) wouldn’t record anything even though it connected with the operating console. The replacement wouldn’t connect at all! Total waste of time and cash, but I did get a full refund. My first use of it was on 01/Oct/2020, and despite proof checking the video prior to upload, I called it a Mavia instead of a Mavic! Pfff!
Do you know about what it would be like to go abroad with this drone? Like is there anything you have to do beforehand in terms of being able to take the drone on an aeroplane
Just bought mine today, I was kind going for the small Mavic mini, but this one has more of what you’d want in a drone!! It’s my first drone ever. I’m excited to test it out for the first time, but I do live in California so I’ll have to check my laws on drone flying. Nice video !

Thank you mate. You’re right, kind of. The new rules don’t exist yet, and DJI themselves have said they don’t know what the actual rules are (in terms of class). No drone that already exists complies as the CE cannot be retrospectively added. And there’s a 2 year transition period so you can still fly the Air 2 (like all the other drones that exist) for the next two years from November 2020, then it becomes a Legacy drone. But again that applies to the Mavic Pro, Pro 2, etc.
Great video mate! I had Mavic Pro previously..and I'm planning to buy Mavic Air 2 regards the ocusync that's something which we need for strong connection between drone and controller.. The vid was awesome - if you could share nativ 4k vid i really appreciate. Want to try editing and see the colors and quality. ( Did yoh try the following mode when you flooring your Tesla?;) I would🤭)
Hello mate, thanks for watching (and taking the time to comment). Coming from the Mavic Pro to this, it's really good. The 4k quality is incredible, I've been out and filmed some footage tonight to share, and I'm blown away by it. Keep an eye on the channel, I'll be using this a lot now.

That's true. But I weighed up the time I'd have to wait (until they release it with ADS-B), vs the fun I'll have with it now. Hopefully they bring it out soon enough.
The Mavic Mini is a great alternative. It has a few features missing compared to the others in the range, but for ~£300ish it’s an incredible drone. It shoots 2.7k instead of 4K and has no obstacle avoidance, but it’s super small and light.
Almost £1000 for a drone seems too much for what it is. Personally, I am looking for a drone which does not transmit signals through WiFi as I live in a city and is under £600/~$700
Guys the marketing that dji is deceptive. The build is cheap and for the price you're better of putting your $ into the trash. Dji customer service is a nightmare. Buy the their insurance the moment you have the chance. Otherwise you'll lose your opportunity to do so almost immediately after you activate the drone. Hope this helps. TRASH!!!
Way overpriced. DJI runs their business like an aerospace company. The troops in the Ukraine get the best deals. I can't afford to buy boats for their executives.
Spend the extra money get a mavic 2 Zoom best drone you'll ever fly the camera is great the zoom is awesome and ocusync 2 no interference stay away from these beginner drones

Yes mate. It won’t make any difference to the use of the drone. It’s just a sticker that you put on the drone, it has nothing to do with the app.

You can buy it pretty much anywhere now, I think I got mine from John Lewis. I get my insurance through FPVUK.

You can do, it’s easy enough to pass if you do some research. The test doesn’t ask for the drone information at all.

But can you fly it 10k ? I brought a holy stone hs720 and it will only go a certain distance and no further? Why.

Yes that’s correct. In order to fly in the U.K. you need a licence and to pass the test (to obtain an operator ID)
