Can never forget the beautiful, powerful lyrics " No storm or heavy weather will rock the/this boat you,ll see ,the time has come to close your eyes & still the wind & rain"..just wow.
I learned to play bass listening to Iron Maiden cassettes back in the mid-80’s and this was the first song I learned. Always been one of Maidens biggest bangers in my book. Thanks for the reaction
Great live version of an epic track, this actually sounds better then the Live After Death version from 1985. Bruce really shines on the studio version.
Piece of mind is by far my favorite album by iron maiden, hands down. Every song on this album is worth reacting to. Great song, great reaction. Keep em coming
this is one of my favs by Maiden. if you two are ever gonna go see a live metal show - you can't go wrong with Maiden. Truly epic shows Seen em 6 times. They're coming around again in 24.
Blood Brothers is a much watch/listen.Pachendale which is about a battle during the trench warfare of WW1 is an emotional and thought provoking song has to be on your reaction list too. Keep up the great work.
@@andrefelder4902 a lot of great vocalists. I saw a lot of them back in the good old days. His vocals on the 7th Son tour were the best in my book. There were singers I didn't expect to be at the top of my live experiences also. Joe Cocker blew my mind.
my all time fav maiden song. I went to this tour as well! waited 8 hours at the airport at 13 years old to get my guitar signed by the band. a kid in a sea of grown men
That was one of my favorite songs growing up. The Iron Maiden MTV video of The Trooper got me into metal from The Beach Boys in one summer. That would be awesome to see your reactions to that classic 80s metal video
Track 2 on the 4th Iron Maiden album 'Piece of mind' in 1983... This was written by Bruce Dickinson (vocals) - the first Maiden album on which he was credited w/ songwriting. It was also the first album to feature Nicko McBrain (drums) who replaced the previous drummer Clive Burr... McBrain has been Maiden's drummer since then. 'Piece of mind' is one of the biggest Iron Maiden albums... platinum in the US charting @#14... #3 in the UK. It also has some of Maiden's most popular songs, including: 'The Trooper' ... 'Flight of Icarus' ... 'Where Eagles dare' ... 'Die with your boots on' ... 🔥🔥🤘🤘
They're touring the old songs next year which they haven't done in about 20 years. See them. Their shows are phenomenal. I should know I've seen them over 30 times.
I prefer the Live After Death version of this song, because it was on the best tour in the band's history (World Slavery Tour 84/85), but still this is a very good version and I appreciate that they are choosing songs that are not the most commercial. That is to say, the most commercial ones are instant classics, but many times they fail to show all the compositional potential of a band and with Iron Maiden it is something that also happens with their greatest hits. Thank you! I would like to recommend some that are not the greatest hits of popularity, but are impressive songs like Strange World, Prodigal Son, Ghost Of The Navigator, The Nomad, 2 A.M., For The Greater Good Of God and Afraid To Shoot Stranger. Greetings!!
If you liked this song, you guys should check out either The Clansman or Sign of the Cross, both live from Rock in Rio. Both amazing live performances and songs, Bruce and the boys at their best or check out 7th Son of a 7th son live from Maiden England another amazing song.
as far as i remeber they already did clansman, also as much as i love Maiden live i would like them to hear a studio version. Live has its own epicness but ssome studio versions you hear so much more details
I've seen them for the first time in 1980 supporting KISS. Since then I've awaited every new record. Until "Book of Souls" and "Empire of the Clouds" "Revelations" has always been my favourite Maiden Track.
2 songs of iron maidens that I'd love to see you check out are dance of death (the en Vivo version) and hallowed be they name (either the 1982 Hammersmith version or the flight 666 version). Great reaction guys
dlad you enjoy Maiden^^ one of my first musical loves XD. Love the live versions as much as anyone but hope you also will listen to a studio version in contrast for one^^.
Man you guys are sleeping on a 3 sister Rock Band that is from Mexico that sings in English,,The band is called The Warning and they just appeared last month on the MTV VMA"s & played their song Evolve & almost blew the roof off! They will be filling stadiums in the Future !!!! I promise 1 song will leave you wanting more🤘🤘🤘
Epic From The Masters Of Metal Iron Maiden The Version From Live After Death Is Far Better Bruce Dickinson Was Vocally In His Prime and at His Best! Maiden Are The Only Band That Can Perform a Song and Actually Make You Feel Like Your Actually There In The Moment, The Greatest Live Band In The World! You Should Check Out Iron Maiden - Running Free Live After Death From Long Beach Another Epic From Maiden, Great Reaction 👏.
you think his voice is powerful. try it in revelations with bruce dickinson and ian anderson in canterbury cathedral. he starts off singing a capella with no mike then switches to the mike. an atendee said he could be heard in the back. he also sings jerusalem with the mike all the waynthrough.
Frickin Janick! Ruined another solo!!!!! The studio version is magic. It’s great! And Bruce’s vocals are so good. This is too fast and Janick!!!!! Ugh!!!!
UP THE IRONS!!!! You guys must experience maiden live. You wont regret

Bruce really shines on the studio version.
Totally agree
Well live after death is iconic but this version really rocks 😊
My favourite Maiden songs have changed many times, and I don’t even think in terms of a favourite, anymore. But, “Revelations” is something special.
Piece of mind is by far my favorite album by iron maiden, hands down. Every song on this album is worth reacting to. Great song, great reaction. Keep em coming

There is no way to say how great these guys were in the 80's. His vocals were unmatched.
I saw them live this year and Bruce’s vocals are even better now
@@madmike4622 I've seem them as they've grown older and I cannot say the same. Not even close.
i love iron maiden dearly, though in the 80s michael kiske and geoff tate could match him! outstanding singers

The entire Seventh Son album is a must listen if you like their more melodic side. The whole album is one great story and they were at their peak
This wasn’t on Seventh Son, It was Piece of Mind!
@@coybig6731 no shit. I was talking about if they like melodic to listen to 7th son
Say that then. Tadger!

Her tattoo in the right hand is in Greek and it means "precious"...
I love the look on her face saying IDGAF about this... Guys, don't force your partners to listen to this great band. Enjoy! ;)
Thanks for this review, my BF loves them, now I can request a song haha!
The opening lines are from a G. K. Chesterton hymn written in, I think, the 1920s.
