This show is magical and all I can say is kudos to the staff that put this together and the members that perform it at such a high level. Modern drum corps at its finest.
My boys and I sat 8th row on the 50. It was probably the most cohesive performance I’ve ever seen. Great program, production and execution. They more than deserve the accolades.
They obviously can't phone it in, but their show is the one to beat this year. The spread over BD is only expanding, and BD is in a fight against Boston for second.
On one hand, drum majors are wearing the uniforms you want so there’s that. On the other hand, cry more. Y’all can’t whine about this every year it’s exhausting. The old uniforms are dead and have been for nearly a decade. Get with the times old man.
@@TrAnMuPeople are allowed to have and express opinions. Just because old uniforms are "dead" doesnt mean that they're worse or better than new ones. It also doesnt mean that we'll never see them again and that we should just forget about them. There is room for everyone in this activity
@@mattyteerifles2863this is true however i’m sure many of the corps understand by now how badly people love old school stuff some of the comments are tiring..
This is Drum Corp international, “marching music’s major league” as they say. Tons of highly skilled musicians audition to get into these corps, and once they pay their tuition they go through a rigorous 4 week spring training where they learn their entire show, start to finish. Then, they go on a nationwide tour competing at events to improve their shows. During the time in between the shows they work on cleaning up music and visuals while even adding segments to their show. After all of this, there are the prelims, semi finals, and finals in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium where they hash it out to find out who is best corp of the year. So far, bluecoats have looked the most promising this season, remaining undefeated.
Yes, albeit there are high-schoolers in the mix…paying to play. It’s not about anything involving money, but the experience of bliss on the field. Sets them up for all they do in life after.
Cleaner percussion is certainly a take. They don’t judge on dynamics, but GE is a more subjective caption that Bloo just happens to objectively dominate in.
Finally a different blue taking charge
LET'S GO BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
(Also crazy cause they still got a ton to clean)
yea, i saw a lot of small things in the stream and the beginning hits are kind of inconsistent sometimes but they’re doing AMAZING

They really came through this year and won in every segment, from GE to music. They'll surely win those GOLDS!
It's looking like the Bluecoats will actually become Mr. Two Time but BD won't make it easy. Finals night is going to be intense!
They obviously can't phone it in, but their show is the one to beat this year. The spread over BD is only expanding, and BD is in a fight against Boston for second.
I miss the uniforms of TILT and Kinetic Noise 😭
Me too

Is this like the nfl of drum marching?
Yeah kinda, except it’s a little more complicated than that

Whole corps needs to wear those drum major uniforms my god.
No they don’t.
Agreed
They would need to make them be able to get peeled off gradually throughout the show somehow
BD staff meeting to make changes to try to top bluecoats show. They can't, not this year.

They could look so much better covering up the nonconformities of the faces and hairstyles
Their show is literally about disorder...
Rigged. Phantom regiment did way better. Cleaner percussion, better dynamics, and better general effect. Hell, people booed them.
You must be new to drum corps if you thought they were booing

@@mattyteerifles2863 I was there. Before the show, there was booing. After the judging announcing that bluecoats won, they booed.

@@imseojunieee welp, I'm retarded. Thanks.
I was there and wasn't impressed at all. I was yawning most of the show. I don't understand all the hype.
Because there are opinions. Those who win have most positive opinions
Become a judge and change the game then 👍
