Thank you for acknowledging and discussing whether shoes would work for wide feet. Most travel information I see on UA-cam shows a shoe brand they like and it won’t work for my wider foot. I appreciate all the options you discussed. Very helpful.
Love the comparisons! Im surprised not to see Brooks on the list. Most recommended by doctors, especially for older people. I have 2 pair now and wear them all day to work in on my feet. Well over 10k steps. I just got a white pair for under $90. Revel 6 is the style name. I have bad feet with issues, so i need lots of sole padding. I have narrow feet and heels, but wide toes, and instep sensitivity. Lots of flip flop wearing. I still put a partial insole in the Brooks, but not like all my shoes from the past. Your videos are fantastic! I do love the dress, too!
Glad you gave the Vionics a high score - this is pretty much the only brand I buy because of my fallen arches. I also purchased a pair of Hoka sneakers this summer (replaced insole with Vionic insert) and love the comfort of them. They are very colorful, but I think they also come in more basic colors also. Also a little on the high end for cost, which is why I purchased them on sale at Notdstrom’s big summer sale.
Thanks for doing this! I love, love, love On Cloud 5 shoes, especially in the nearly solid colors (with white soles usually). They are great street shoes with many different outfits. Very light weight, very supportive and slip on if you order the ones with “speed” laces.
I bought the Ryka Echo Knit Slip On Sneaker (in Alpine) for a trip to Australia - I walked all over Sydney and Melbourne with these (and used them for my travel shoes on the plane) and I love them! That was in 2023 and I still wear them all the time - would love to see what you think of them. I also just purchased the "On" womens cloud 5 - I initially thought they were a bit stiff, but as I wore them more for distance walking, I realized that was a plus. They are comfortable, supportive and very light. Maybe you could take a look at those too! Thanks for your reviews and I just love watching your videos! By the way - I am 72 years old...just as a point for reference for sneaker preference.
The Ryka is really nice looking for a slip on option!! I had a pair of Ryka hiking boots for years until I wore holes in them, very comfy. Thank you for the suggestion and I will put them on the list to try for the next sneaker video 😊
This is so helpful. I do love my Cariuma’s but I’m going to order the Dr. Scholls based on your video recommendation. Really appreciate all your work on this, thanks!
I just ordered the Dr Scholls Time Off sneakers 👟 yesterday. So glad I ordered the best ones! Thank you for your review, truly appreciate your feedback on travel items. 💜💙
I agree on the all birds. I wanted to love them so bad but they just weren’t very comfy. I have wide feet and the were wide enough but the toe portion is sewed down to tightly and makes my toenails hurt from the pressure and they don’t stretch out.☹️

I used to have planter fasciitis but got over it in part by wearing Vionic shoes. Yes, the aggressive arch support took some getting used to. Just finished my second trip with the Vionic Fearless sneaker - white with navy and teal trim. After watching your video I'm going to keep Sorels in mind for future buys.
I love this dress ! I am thankful for your recommendations. I bought one of the sandals you recommended from Amazon and am happy I did. They are light, have arch support, have great grip, are affordable, waterproof and look cute too. I have had many compliments on them.
A wide toe box does not = a wide foot. You can have a narrow foot, but if your toes don't taper, then you need a wide toe box but not a wide shoe. It is two different things.
Bought the Dr. Schools based on your recommendation and used your link. Love them! After searching for over a year I finally found something I’m comfortable with. Thank you.
Interesting about the Ecco shoes! I have slightly wide feet and find Ecco sneakers to be too narrow. I love the Dr Scholls sneakers! I have a pair and they are my favorite pair of sneakers
Love this! My favorite is HOKA bondi they are abit expensive but they are extremely kind to senior feet. (Which is a problem in itself as our feet change!) But love your review of each shoe. I will consider Dr. Scholl’s!😊
Thanks for the video. I highly recommend the Unisex Sneaker Sliders (Urban) - Wool. I bought them for travel and they are so comfortable. They are water-repellent, washable, and hands-free to put them on. Very light and worth the price and they look good, especially in black!
Great video, very helpful, thank you! For ladies with wide feet and/or foot problems I would suggest Ziera shoes, specifically the model called All Sorts. I've had it in several colors for years, they are super comfy, come in wide and extra wide sizes, have arch support and metatarsal pads built in and are very versatile! Not a sneaker, but more of a walking shoe but you can wear them with dressier pants and even long skirts. I've worn them all day and then to the opera... Not cheap but they have sales occasionally and even at full price are worth it in my opinion.
Nice review. I look for water resistance in my sneakers so they are most versatile for travel. I thought the wool allbirds were also waterproof? I use the vessi brand sneaker (cityscape I think is the style) and have been very happy with them. They also have a Courtside style and soho style that look more like the shoes from your review. Love the soho style but they were too big and clunky for me. All are waterproof.
I own 6 pair of AllBirds. All are comfy. As for the description of these as being masculine, I guess it’s all in the eye of the beholder. For me, the sleeker profile seem more feminine to me than many of those chunkier shoes.
Wow so many choices. I feel lucky that I can fit in men's shoes since they're usually wider than women's (I'm 5'8"), but those Vionics are really cute!
Great review!! I have narrowish feet too, and some problems so I really appreciate you bringing up comfort, and rating them on the four attributes!! Ready to try the Dr. Schols ones before I head out on our big trip in November!! Thanks!!!
I have been wearing Reeboks for years so much so that i was using 3pairs the last pair kept for dress .tried niki plus others but the arch supports on Reebok ❤ i can hike in them but have dedicated hiking shoes
FINALLY, someone else with a narrow foot!🎉 I have the hardest time finding good ones that fit. I'm getting ready to order the Dr. Scholls. Great video!
Thank you for the video, I always hunting for white sneakers. My fav is Uggs but that style is discontinued, I have Dr Scholl Time off but the sole is too stiff for me and the tongue keep sliding inside. The new Brooks Ghost Max 2 is ok but it’s too soft for my 12 hrs shift and it get stains so quick . I’m still looking for a perfect platform leather white shoes but not yet found😢
My every day go to walking shoe I go back and forth between Birkenstock and Vionic. I love the Arch support and my feet and legs don't get tired out. I think you should try the Birkenstock tennis shoes. Wide area for your toes to flex and great Arch support. Thanks for your 2 cents on this!
You are sooo right about Dr. Scholl’s sneakers! I just received mine and they are perfect! I’m very impressed with how well they fit right out of the box. Thank you, once again, for your recommendations and thorough research. 😊
I like Bzees golden knit slip on sneakers. I need arch support and cushioning and these provide both. They are also washable, antimicrobial and pack well.
I love my Aetrex sandals and tennis shoes. I have flat feet, so need a good arch support. I also have a medium wide toe box, prone to ingrown toenails, and a narrow heel. The Carly Arch Support sneakers are a blend between a tie up sneaker and a slip on sneaker. Next buy will be the Renee Arch Support sneakers for a little more fashionable look.
I have wide feet and bunions, and I love love love my Ecco’s. I’ve had them several years and they’ve held up well through several trips with a lot of walking. I alternate days with vionics. I’ve never found a shoe that is comfortable for two long walking days in a row (20k+ steps)
Love my Birkenstock Bend Low sneaker. These are not the lightest, but my toes are free to wiggle. They hold my heels and have great arch support. Drfinitely worth the price, but break them in first.
I have a narrow foot with flat feet . I’ve found the Cole haan sneakers to be lightweight and comfy. My favs are discontinued - they are stitched uppers and super lightweight - I walked all over Japan and Belgium years ago. They’re a washable and I wish they’d bring them back. Meanwhile I buy the Court shoe now for everyday - very lightweight and clean up beautifully . Thank you for your content !!
I've had the hardest time finding comfortable sneakers because I have a narrow heel and a wide toe - along with a high arch and nerve issues (like yours) on the top of my feet. I've probably tried 20 pairs of sneakers (looking for a court style recently) and every single one has had to be returned! That is without even getting them out of my living room try on experience. So, I have no idea how I will fair out in the streets. Forget about hiking. That just isn't in my future. I think i'll try the Dr. Scholl's you recommended (although I've read some poor reviews about them falling apart or separating after a short wear time - have you any comments on yours?). Thanks so much for this review - I really appreciated it.
I absolutely love those Dr. Scholls! I wore them all over Croatia! My feet felt amazing in them. I teach 8th grade, so I also wear them to work. They go with just about anything in my wardrobe. They were definitely a great purchase for me.
I have a similar pair of New Balance and love them. I also have the Allbirds in a different color. They’re ok with jeans, but they tend to lose their shape a bit. My toe pushes a bit on them and they stretch, so kind of look old and worn after only a few wears.
I’m on my third pair of the Kiziks Vegas sneakers and I can’t brag on them enough! I have a pretty wide foot and I feel like they fit true to size. I’ve worn them touring San Francisco, including the Redwood Forest. I teach school in them at least 3 days a week, and I find them extremely comfortable.
I love the Skechers GoWalk style. I have wide feet but don't usually have to wear sneakers in wide. However, I had to get the wide in this style because the regulars were pretty tight. Size 10.5! My feet are still growing, ack!!! Anyway, I have these shoes in cream color and got a second pair in khaki so I can wear them casually for my trip to UK next month. I figured the khaki might allow more of a bridge style between casual and a little more dressy. Thanks for the tips!
I have narrow feet, especially my heel. I can wear sandals all day. In fact, I purchased the Plaka sandals you recommended, and they are great. I have a problem with sneakers. I have light weight New Balance that are comfortable but don't have enough support to wear all day. I have Adidas Sambas, which are cute but not very comfortable. I have 2 pairs of Ecco leather Soft 7 sneakers, one lace up, and one zips. They are beautiful and fit perfectly, but somehow they rub the ball of my foot. I can wear them to run errands but I can't wear them all day long. 😢
Just had a trip to Aladka and took my New Balance and Nike. The white Nike W AF1 Sage Low was perfect. It did well even in rain. I could clean it easily. It went with cold and warm weather and all my outfits looked good.
I have knee issues. Require custom orthodics, which limits the shoes I can get. I bought Taos that look a lot like Converse.they come with a removable sole with arch support. Now, that's all I buy. I don't need my custom ortho in those sneakers. I walked all over Venise and Florence wearing them. No issues. They are not cheap but worth every penny.
My favorite shoes are my dr scholls. I do want to get some onclouds but the price has been holding me back. When we cruise I like to switch shoes back and forth from day to day. It helps with my feet.
I have Morton’s neuroma in one foot. The Dr. Scholls sneakers are so comfortable I have them in four different colors. Have worn them in Europe on cobblestones and in wet weather and they are perfect for all day wear!
Great review! Personally, I cannot stand to wear shoes, especially sneakers of this type, that are not mostly made from real leather. This might be due to the fact that live in Phoenix, Arizona, where the weather is hot as Hades for six months of the year. It is very important that my shoes (and feet) are able to breathe, not just slosh around in sweat. Sorry for being so graphic, but this is my reality.
I wear an 8.5, have a narrow foot and have found in Adidas shoes I can wear a Big Kid size 7…they are narrower than the women’s shoe…and they cost less! 😄
I purchased the ortho feet shoes that you can just slip on. They slip on kind of like the sketchers do. I never have to bend over to tie my shoes. It saves me a lot of time. they aren’t the most fashionable, but they are so comfortable and they have such good support.
Lots of good info. on my last trip to Las Vegas (lots of walking), I wore Propet Tour Knit Shoes (comes in black or blue denim colour) and Skechers Summits Quick Getaway. I have wide feet with bunions. I was very comfortable and stylish too.
Just a note about KIZIKS - I have tried almost ALL of the styles and by far, the Athens style, though a more traditional athletic style, is the MOST comfortable shoe. We have, as a family, purchased 8 pairs and have even gifted them a few times too.
Ecco’s don’t work for me either, but I really wanted them to. Not enough arch support, toe box is too slim. Taos sneakers have great arch support though.
I think you and I have similar feet, so I'm grateful for your detailed analysis. I'm also a longtime follower of Kellie and Christina and I love that corduroy dress on you, too. It's too short for me, but looks great on you!
I love my Allbirds, but I get the nerve thing. My Olakai sneakers hit nerves at the top of my foot that give me a zing I dont like. I think many people have trouble with Allbirds, because I see them barely worn at Thrift shops.
I’m with you on Ecco and Vionic! Totally misled by travel you tubers. These KILLED my feet…buyer beware. I have planar fasciitis the arch support is way too much to deal with.
I recently bought a pr of eccos for a trip to Europe on the recommendation of a travel youtuber I have a narrow foot like you and some arthritis/ neuropathy in my right foot . I found them to be too wide and my heel kept slipping out and I bought the smallest size they were comfortable but my feet got v hot in them I paid over $100CAN for them. So disappointed 😢
I wear vionic sneakers and have high arches so they work best for me. I do purchase inserts for cheaper shoes and have a lot of luck with those. As long as I can get the shoes roomy enough for the inserts. I have several vionic sandals and wear them all the time. I have a pair of vionic boots that I absolutely love. I just wish the price was lower...😂
I think I'm going to be trying a Vionic boot for an upcoming video, but yes, I wish they were a little less expensive! What kind of inserts do you use? (ps if you can just give me the brand, unfortunately I've had to block links in comments because there was so much spam 🙄)

Thank you for acknowledging and discussing whether shoes would work for wide feet. Most travel information I see on UA-cam shows a shoe brand they like and it won’t work for my wider foot. I appreciate all the options you discussed. Very helpful.
Glad it was helpful! 😊
Altra for wide feet, they are the best I’ve found so far
That dress looks adorable on you!
Yes, I agree. The style, fit, and color all look great.
Thank you 😊
Love the comparisons!
Thank you 😊. I'll definitely put Brooks on the list for the next review...totally forgot about them! By the time you get to 13 shoes, its a lot, LOL!!
On Clouds are on my future "try out" list!! 😊
Wow, such a very well done video! Excellent info, well presented quickly. Love this!
I love the new Birkenstock Bends sneakers. I walked all over Italy with no pain. Love the dress. You look fabulous!
So much work put into making this terrific video! Thanks so much!
I just ordered the Dr Scholls Time Off sneakers 👟 yesterday. So glad I ordered the best ones! Thank you for your review, truly appreciate your feedback on travel items. 💜💙
This was AWESOME! Thank you for doing all the work to make this!
I agree on the all birds. I wanted to love them so bad but they just weren’t very comfy. I have wide feet and the were wide enough but the toe portion is sewed down to tightly and makes my toenails hurt from the pressure and they don’t stretch out.☹️

Thank you for making this video and considering us WIDE foot people.... love love love the dress too!
I love this dress ! I am thankful for your recommendations. I bought one of the sandals you recommended from Amazon and am happy I did. They are light, have arch support, have great grip, are affordable, waterproof and look cute too. I have had many compliments on them.
I took Vessi's on my first trip overseas and they were fabulous. Comfortable, versatile and waterproof.
I enjoy your videos, especially these comparison videos. I've now ordered the Reef and the Dr. Scholls to try out. Love that dress on you!
That's great! I hope they work out for you... those Reefs are sooo cute 😊

I love my brooks ghost. I've worn for 8 yrs. I wore them all day hiking on cobblestones in europe this summer. Felt great. Easy to clean too
I love my New Balances. Thank you for reviewing all these sneakers! I also have a narrow foot and have had heel slippage with Cariumas
This video is one of the best I have seen for a shoe review. Thank you!

I love my Allbirds! They work so well for me in especially in wet conditions. My feet stay dry and I appreciate that. Sorry they didn’t work for you.
I own 6 pair of AllBirds. All are comfy. As for the description of these as being masculine, I guess it’s all in the eye of the beholder. For me, the sleeker profile seem more feminine to me than many of those chunkier shoes.
I have lace up all birds, a pair of slip on, and I had skippers. All are miserable for me for a lot of walking, no support for me, too squishy.
Wow so many choices. I feel lucky that I can fit in men's shoes since they're usually wider than women's (I'm 5'8"), but those Vionics are really cute!
The Dr. Scholl’s are super cute but not breathable. Thanks for this video!
Thanks, took notes for all . Vionic and Scholls on my list when I get the budget ❤
I need a waterproof pair and have just ordered the Sorels. Thank you for all the research!
I don’t understand the love of sketchers! They are ok at first but never hold up long
FINALLY, someone else with a narrow foot!🎉 I have the hardest time finding good ones that fit. I'm getting ready to order the Dr. Scholls. Great video!
I wear new balance because they distribute your weight in a way that helps with back issues. I also have a narrow foot and they fit well.
Thank you for the video, I always hunting for white sneakers. My fav is Uggs but that style is discontinued, I have Dr Scholl Time off but the sole is too stiff for me and the tongue keep sliding inside. Ohhh, I did not know that Birkenstock was making tennis shoes... I'll go look those up 😊. Thank you for the suggestion!
I've never heard of Bzees before...just looked them up! I think I might try one of their boots for an upcoming video. Thank you for the suggestion 😊
Thank you for this!!! Going to try the dr schools, kizik and adidas!
Vionic sneakers have been my favorite in the past and I am looking for new ones so I’m going to try the ones you have reviewed! 👏🏻 happy travels

I have the Dr Scholl ones but haven’t had a chance to wear them yet. Thanks for the review. I feel better that I made a good choice now.
Great information. Here is some feedback, your video needs more close ups of the shoes. They are too far away to see them properly. Great video though
I've had the hardest time finding comfortable sneakers because I have a narrow heel and a wide toe - along with a high arch and nerve issues (like yours) on the top of my feet. Just had a trip to Aladka and took my New Balance and Nike. The white Nike W AF1 Sage Low was perfect. It did well even in rain. I could clean it easily. It went with cold and warm weather and all my outfits looked good.
Thank U 🙏🏼… Amazon Prime Day is coming and I need a pair for my upcoming Portugal trip next month 😊
Agreed, those Prime Deal Days could have some great savings!! 😊
❤I love your channel. I did hit the button
ECCO is the absolute BEST for my WIDE feet. I wore them during my trip to Italy and they were amazingly comfortable.
My ECCO pair is not supportive or cushiony. Cannot walk all day in them.
Hoka shoes work great for me. I have plantar fasciitis and heel spur. I know it can be clunky but if comfort is the goal, then Hoka is the answer.
I have been thinking of trying out the Hoka's 😊
Yes! Leather is breathable & a good, albeit a somewhat expensive necessity.
Thank you!
I wear an 8.5, have a narrow foot and have found in Adidas shoes I can wear a Big Kid size 7…they are narrower than the women’s shoe…and they cost less! 😄
Good suggestion!! I might have to try that out myself 😊
I have 3 pair of Ecco’s and love them. Can walk all day in them. I wear the soft 7
NB 574 has no arch support and comes with very thin insoles. Love the style tho.
That dress is perfect
I purchased the ortho feet shoes that you can just slip on. They slip on kind of like the sketchers do. I never have to bend over to tie my shoes. It saves me a lot of time. they aren’t the most fashionable, but they are so comfortable and they have such good support.
Me too. Bunions ! Orthos work.
great review!
Lots of good info. on my last trip to Las Vegas (lots of walking), I wore Propet Tour Knit Shoes (comes in black or blue denim colour) and Skechers Summits Quick Getaway. I have wide feet with bunions. I was very comfortable and stylish too.
My doctor recommended Brooks shoes ?!
Have both the Dr Scholls and the New Balance.
The Ecco shoes are not for wide feet either. I just wore on clouds for 2 weeks in Europe. Perfect.
My husband got those for our 18 day Europe vacation last year. He loved them. I’m going to try a pair as well.
I love my Hoka’s❤
Hi new subscriber, you prefer vionic than reef
No On Clouds?
I walked 6 weeks in Europe in my Cariumas and still love them
I have to agree on the Ecco's. Mine didn't make it all the way out of the box, I tried on one and said Nope!
Just a note about KIZIKS - I have tried almost ALL of the styles and by far, the Athens style, though a more traditional athletic style, is the MOST comfortable shoe. We have, as a family, purchased 8 pairs and have even gifted them a few times too.
Good to know!! Thank you for the tip 😊
Ecco’s don’t work for me either, but I really wanted them to. Not enough arch support, toe box is too slim. Taos sneakers have great arch support though.
Taos are on my list for the next sneaker review in the future...maybe the spring 😊
I think you and I have similar feet, so I'm grateful for your detailed analysis. I'm also a longtime follower of Kellie and Christina and I love that corduroy dress on you, too. It's too short for me, but looks great on you!
Cute dress.
Your hair is gorgeous
thank you
I love my Allbirds, but I get the nerve thing. My Olakai sneakers hit nerves at the top of my foot that give me a zing I dont like. I think many people have trouble with Allbirds, because I see them barely worn at Thrift shops.
For me with a little bit wider feet - ECCO is AMAZING! I’m sorry they don’t work for you.
No HOKA ?
I’m with you on Ecco and Vionic! Totally misled by travel you tubers. These KILLED my feet…buyer beware. I have planar fasciitis the arch support is way too much to deal with.
It really looks nice on you.
On cloud. Best sneaker on the planet
@@GenxGypsy1968 my booties are vionic Jolene I think they are discontinued but similar to vionic shyanne
