Old Crow is an American Icon
interesting history of the company.
i remember my grand dad always having a bottle of old crow around back in the early 1960’s; and some old charter
We stumbled across this place a few weeks ago. I loved the history and character of the distillery. Long fascinating and humorous visit with the guy here. David ? I definitely will return for an in depth tour and some bourbon. Awesome and even more interesting given it’s location.

Incredible work. Thanks for sharing this with us!
Beautiful footage - thank you for sharing
thank you dasneolicht.
Great video. Just visited there(Glenn's Creek) a couple of weeks ago. Wish we could've roamed around the old grounds, but given the decay, looks like you could get into trouble pretty easily.
For sure, I wish somehow that it could be refurished but I'm afraid that would be prohibitively expensive.
Just did 10 days on the bourbon trail. I have traveled many places in the world and Kentucky stole my heart. The beauty and the people set in beautiful historic America is all any true American can hope for. CA can break off and sink into the Pacific as far as I’m concerned.
It is an amazing place with an incredible past! I always enjoy visiting the distilleries on the Bourbon Trail. Thank you for the comment. 👍
Your travels haven't actually taken you to California have they? There's no place on the planet like it, it truly is beautiful beyond belief. Yes, there are too many people in the cities, but not everywhere. Give it a chance someday... you'll see.
@@donarthiazi2443, I was born and raised in So Cal.. There are some beautiful places in the state. Unfortunately CA politics, crime, taxes and homelessness, welfare, drugs, illegal aliens and complete socialist ideals have destroyed a once great place to live. I don’t look down on those who chose to stay, it’s just for me anymore.

Oh okay. Now I understand. Damn, there I was trying to explain to a man how beautiful it was in his own home 😵💫
I couldn't believe it when I was in the 7th infantry at Fort Ord( back when there still WAS a Fort Ord) at Monterey. Yeah, California is from all sides... mouth dropping in its beauty.
The problem though, is exactly as you stated. And it's an utter travesty.
Sorry for _preaching_ to you 😌
@@donarthiazi2443, I never saw any preaching in your response. I only saw friendly conversation. There is still absolutely breathtaking beauty in the state. I currently live between the So. Cal beach area and Lake Havasu area in AZ. I was fortunate enough to spend a good deal of time at Fort Irwin prior to retirement. I wish you the best and appreciate your kindness to open a possible new place to visit for me. Hooah
David; thanks for sharing this - I really enjoyed the video; excellent work on the sticks ! I also enjoyed the voice over for the story behind the video. Thats something Id like to try on my next project, But I'm still camera / mic shy! What a great work you produced here.
Thanks so much for the kind words Drone_Video.
I grew up in frankfort. We used to go down there and drink beer late at night in weekends. Used to be a small road that cut from the crow to top of hill across the street it caved in i think. Good times. We used to wander around waverly hills and see wack stuff too. This was when everything was still totally abandoned.
Very , very cool!
Thank you Paul.
Who came to this video after watching Destination Fear?
i did
I'm from Inverness too hahaha
