I've seen comps where he had been disqualified a bit earlier when it started to go down a bit - don't get me wrong very impressive for someone in retirement

Eddie has an insane mindset. You could see that he was suffering hard and possibly even physically weaker but he simply refused to lose. Crazy stuff.

He did lose. In any other strongman competition he’d have lost for his arms being far below 90 degrees & his arse was off the pole MULTIPLE times. It’s not really a serious show + Eddie is giants live’s baby which is why they allowed it

Not taking anything away from Eddie’s determination here, but he was allowed to get away with too much here; Trey should have won. Eddie’s butt was off of the post for far too long, and towards the end, his arms were well below parallel with the ground

The camera hides details though, he took his arse/lower back of the pole for the majority of it and blamed it on "not knowing where his ass is now hes lost weight." Great performance but the only reason he didnt get disqualified was because it was his somewhat last show.

I'm sorry but he puts the struggling on a bit for entertainment purposes, there's no way he was struggling that much from the get go. It's like the passing out on a leg press video he made, it was pure entertainment. Still ridiculously strong though, beating active strongmen.
