I've seen comps where he had been disqualified a bit earlier when it started to go down a bit - don't get me wrong very impressive for someone in retirement
I know the show your talking about he got a shit time but the hammer went down just a little I think he was even able to re raise it to start position but like you said he had be dq'd already
He wouldn’t have been dqed
Eddie has an insane mindset. You could see that he was suffering hard and possibly even physically weaker but he simply refused to lose. Crazy stuff.
He almost died there.
He did lose. In any other strongman competition he’d have lost for his arms being far below 90 degrees & his arse was off the pole MULTIPLE times. It’s not really a serious show + Eddie is giants live’s baby which is why they allowed it
Sheer determination and a gift from the judges
Not taking anything away from Eddie’s determination here, but he was allowed to get away with too much here; Trey should have won. Eddie’s butt was off of the post for far too long, and towards the end, his arms were well below parallel with the ground
They wanted eddie to win so much that they let him, and it wouldnt bug me if they didnt take it away from tray
Trey gave up... Look at his face. He wasn't even struggling
Where can we watch the full show
the UK organized the event, all you need to know
I really hope this comeback isn’t temporary. I miss watching Eddy compete. Such a legend.
It is, he stated at the show that he is permanently retired
@@krzysztof-michalak i know what he said. One can also have hope.
@@NattyGuy Please no more cringe Eddie
@@joebot9309 cry more
@@krzysztof-michalak Eddie said in the show that he is comming back next year for the viking press
Broke the rules from the start with not being up against the post. MVM should have disqualified the cheating roaster.
How Long did he hold The hammer?
Does somebody know how he did on viking press?
Did 5 easy reps and then tore his teres minor or major.
@@MellonVegan yeah, really sucks but that's what happens when you don't train them try to keep pace with current strongmen
@@sethdaboss245correct. Did 1 training session and that’s all he did so was asking for injury
somewhat shorter arms didnt hurt.....leverage advantage in reverse
There's nothing reverse about it. Advantage through leverages encompasses all variations.
Lol interesting take for sure, but still wrong 😆
The camera hides details though, he took his arse/lower back of the pole for the majority of it and blamed it on "not knowing where his ass is now hes lost weight." Great performance but the only reason he didnt get disqualified was because it was his somewhat last show.
Definitely beaten by Trey, didn't follow the rules
🙏🕉🌸
Go UK
Cheated. Back butt and head against post. Cheated. Trey should have won
His legs were dubble dipping
I'm sorry but he puts the struggling on a bit for entertainment purposes, there's no way he was struggling that much from the get go. It's like the passing out on a leg press video he made, it was pure entertainment. Still ridiculously strong though, beating active strongmen.
Mindset kid, mindset
@@silenzdravqkstabilen that’s not a mindset for winning, that’s the mindset for the crowd. He’s a great entertainer. Winning mindset would be like Felix with no pain on your face.
@@Matt-yu5ed ok matt, 7 years old keyboard professor
could've been legit, an event like a hammer hold hurts pretty much from the get go. You ever try doing it in the gym with a dumbbell? Shit hurts
He lifted his butt and the hammer dipped, he only won because of partial judgibg.
Close he was lower than trey .
