It’s just kind of odd that they want to save a life by sacrificing the life of a top hero in edgeshot? Unless this is just a foil to make Bakugo stronger than what he was before and allows him to reach new heights with his quirk? Other than that it just seems kinda weird.
You mean edgeshot wants whos they and the entire point of previous chapters with this fight is that the pro heroes are willing to sacrifice themselves so that the younger heroes can live to become pros

@@professorpengu502 hmmm i didn’t get that as the interpretation of the heroes as a whole tbh, really only got that from Mirko as she’s literally sacrificed multiple limbs.
The overall feeling I’m getting is that the heroes don’t want anyone to to die, as a single death will be looked at as a major loss in the battle.
Which is why to me it doesn’t make sense to sacrifice a top 5 hero for bakugo unless it’s simply to wank him up to dekus level which is alright I guess
Its actually a tactical decision as well. Its like in an RPG. Two characters are down, the stealth one and the tank/dps. Who do we rez first? The biggest damage inflictor to hopefully stave off attacks till both are up.
Healing bakugo is their best shot at all surviving cause hes the only fire power close to deku.

Honestly, the whole thing about Wash’s bubble appearing out of nowhere is really the only thing I didn’t like about this chapter, but it’s so insignificant and I didn’t really dislike it too much. It does make sense that Edgeshot would have to be clean before going into Bakugo’s body.
I mean edgeshot can perform surgical suture so it is not wild to think wash would give him some bubbles in case he needs to assist somebody on the battlefield. If anything it adds to the Heroes clairevoyance.
@@mannujc9871 agreed. I mean, it comes off as just something that literally came out of nowhere, but again, it would make sense to use it. Maybe he was just nearby and Edgeshot asked for the bubble before going over to Bakugo.
yeah if they didn't mention it you wouldn't have any concept of "oh it needs to be clean to work" and just makes you think about everything else that isn't clean, it wasn't a necessary detail and just makes you want to inject that detail into everything else unnecessarily
I think the biggest problem right now is the length of time Deku has been absent. I understand letting other characters shine and get recognition, but these are top heroes getting bodied by one villain. Shigaraki is OP to the point that the 2nd user’s power would have to be god tier in order for Deku to defeat him, let alone AFO. He can’t come in and one shot him either because that would be both underwhelming and a cop out.
I think it would be best to deku come to fight but he too faces some problems with shigaraki
But after some characters deku gets very exhausted and then bakugo gets a new powerup and they both fight shigaraki
And this time shigaraki will get cornered and faces problems
But something shocking happens and AFO interferes after he has taken care of Endeavour
This why I can't connect with Deku as a main protagonist, I constantly forget about him it's crazy. It's like Hori doesn't like him anymore and this is not the first time Hori has done this.

In fairness, if any hero would be walking around with Wash’s bubbles as part of his standard kit it would be the guy who goes into peoples bodies on a regular basis.
This isn’t the first time he’s gone into someone’s body. It’s sort of his go to move.

The fact of Shigaraki calling bakugo an extra kinda calls back to the beginning of MHA, when bakugo was calling everyone extras. It shows bakugo’s true character development in this series

Chapter 365: No.4 and No.5
The chapter starts with a narration talking about Edgeshot's quirk, saying that his ultimate move allows his body to become as thin as a spider's web. He is dissolving and going inside Bakugou's chest, and uses one of the bubbles Wash gave him to sanitize his body
He says that Jeanist has sewn up some parts, but others have escaped his grasp. And the lung was also damaged, so Edgeshot will make sure that all the wounds are sutured and then make sure that the heart starts beating again from the inside.
He hopes that Jeanist and Mirko will find a way to hold TomurAFO, because if Bakugou takes any more damage there will be nothing they can do. The narration says that, besides being very difficult to control, this technique consumes the user's life time considerably.
TomurAFO asks what they are doing, because he has already broken that toy. In mid-sentence his pronoun changes from boku (AFO) to ore (Shigaraki), as he remembers the time he told the doctor that he would destroy everything, in the beginning of My Villain Academia.
Veins start popping out on his forehead and he jumps towards Bakugou, enraged. But before he can do anything, Miruko jumps in front of him and hits him with a kick! He bites her leg with one of his hand-mouths and asks if she wants to be crushed that badly but this makes Miruko even angrier and causes her to rip off her own right arm and kicking Shigaraki again.
That kick did real damage to Shigaraki and he doesn't understand why, since he should be in a perfect state. Then he remembers the hits Bakugou landed earlier and thinks "No. It can't be..."
Jeanist catches Miruko in mid-air with his cables, placing her closer to Shigaraki and helping her to run on all fours without both arms and with only one leg. She screams "how nice you are, king of demons!!"
Shigaraki is about to land a blow on her, but Mirio suddenly appears through the sea of hands and puts his hands on Shiggy's face, blocking his vision. Shigaraki changes the direction of the hands to hit Mirio, but it's useless. Miruko asks where he's looking at and says that people only die when their time comes for good, the same line she said to the noumus in the lab.
TomurAFO still can't understand why Bakugou's attacks did lasting damage. That's when it finally dawns on him: that uneasiness he was feeling while facing the boy was fear, he was feeling threatened. Miruko remembers Edgeshot telling her to struggle and says that if she is asked to do something she will do it flawlessly, so that in the end she can die without any regrets. She then hits Shigaraki with several blows in a row, a move she calls Luna Rush!
Shigaraki looks at everyone and memories begin to flood his mind. He doesn't understand why they are trying so hard to save someone who is already broken, when, as a child, he was alive and no one reached out a hand to him We see panels showing all the members of his family, and on the last page they all begin to rise from the sea of hands, as if they were meat puppets. End of chapter
If he's burnt out it would just be best to go on hiatus and not release any chapters until he's ready. Don't tarnish the legacy of your series and an important ending that will have a major impact on every reader who's been invested in this series long term
The Series is already a 3/10 everyone is just sticking around to see the Train Wreck ending.
I really couldn't care less about Wash giving him or not giving him a bubble. Either Wash gave bubbles to the heroes who can use their powers to "heal" or just gave it to Edgeshot, implying they talked about his ultimate being able to heal others.
To me the wash bubble was one of those things that you wouldn't think about "oh its an unsanitary battlefield" until they clean one thing and then you wonder how they cleaned everything else in the story if it was so important

Tbh I overlooked the edgeshot situation and just focused on the story for what it is at this point. I liked the shigi mirko fight a lot
At this point, yeah, a hiatus may be necessary. I had a feeling Bakugo was going to be brought back, because they seem to be establishing that theme of “changing of the guard” and the students of 1-A were all going to be around for that.
But yeah, chapters are getting shorter and weird plot devices are coming out of nowhere, and no one is happy about it. I can only imagine how the poor man is being harassed by people on social media questioning his writing choices. Hell, comments in this video alone are less than sympathetic. I understand people all over the web have their concerns and are disappointed but I can’t forget there are people in this fandom that gave death threats all because they’re not seeing the ships they wanted. Taking time to recharge his batteries may be the best thing for everyone involved.
Same, whether you like MHA or not, Hori doesn’t deserve the crap he gets from either the fanbase or the higher ups. You can’t help but feel bad for the guy

You're right hori should take a break. Considering the way hes writing you can tell something's not right with him. He should take a break or else he's going to have a mental breakdown. Being a manga writer is very stressful, you should look up what they have to go through. It's sad.

A THEORY - Horikoshi did indeed planned to kill off Bakugo, but Shounen Jump told him not to. So now Hori is going out of his way trying to pull things out of his ass for him to revive Bakugo.
I like to think this is what EdgeShot's name always implied, "Teetering over the Edge, A final Shot at victory" or some fancy poetic ninja junk like that. Really feels like how this guy would have chosen his name in high school.
It is fantastic to imagine this chapter animated, all these events happening within a few episodes rather than over the course of months. Now that we're starting to see the whole picture, with this set up of Bakugo being revived and containing ShigiForOne until Deku can arrive to cleanse his spirit or whatever, only for whatever is left of this group to turn around to see Prime AFO looming behind them.
Currently think about Lady Nagant, hoping she's protecting UA from intruders who could interfere with the Shigi Containment project. Sitting in a turret all Star Wars style.
Mirko popping off is cool and all. But I'm more hyped about the fact that we've seemingly got thoughts from Tomura in this chapter. We had thoughts from Tenko but I was really worried when AFO said he'd basically absorbed Shigaraki's consciousness. But Tomura does seem to still be in there at least. And I do wonder if that means we might get a situation where AFO rewinds himself out of existence but he's really smug because he'll become Vestige For One. But Tomura begins to think about the League and destroys his Vestige. Also, that last panel is just further proof that Horikoshi really could make a horror manga work.
That's scary. But it would be something. I still think this isn't quite the end if Izukus journey. If hori is planning to give the reins to someone else if this does become simply a part 2, while he does horror, I'd be down with that.
Honestly I want to raise the inquiry just as a general question for manga or story telling in general and not entirely just for this My Hero chapter; “Can things not happen off panel at all? That Wash’s bubble moment thing seems to me like something we can infer ourselves or that it’s something within the realm of possibility.
This! Like does everything have to be on panel id assume heros would have medkits of some kind and wash bubbles could lift heavy supplies.
To me, it isn't so much it happening off-screen as much as it indicates a lot of foresight on the heroes part. "You're going up against someone who can one-shot any one of you in the blink of an eye. Here's a bubble to sanitize yourself in case you get the chance to perform mid-battle surgery." To me, that part seems like a stretch. But I overall liked the chapter, and I can sympathize with not being able to go back in the writing to add details. That, and I can imagine that the reason why Edgeshot was gone was because he had gone to Wash for assistance.

What matters when for the "off panel moments" is how convenient it is for the plot.
EX: Izuku and Ochako saving themselves in the entrance exam.
Horikoshi could put Ochako there because he wanted Ochako to save Izuku. But Horikoshi went out of his way to make this moment as satisfying as possible.
A) When Izuku falls and Ochako stops him (establishes that Ochako is in UA and has a gravity quirk).
B) When Izuku is waiting for the exam doors to open and Ochako is seen waiting too (establishes that Ochako is in the same area as Izuku).
C) During the examination, Ochako is seen to be near Izuku.
All this makes the moment when Ochako and Izuku save each other more logical and satisfying.
And now if you compare this with the bubble (which is even more important) why it doesn't have the same level of writing. Why not made that Nejire is injured in the fight with Shigaraki and Tamaki uses one of Wash's bubbles to clean her wound. And it already establishes that the heroes have Wash's bubbles and that when it's conveniently used to save Bakugo it doesn't look so bad.
Really makes you wonder if Horikoshi had this planned?
If he had planned for Edgeshot sacrificing himself for Bakugo why didn't he give Edgeshot some important scenes during the fight against Shigaraki and use those scenes to better explain his quirk.
Or the bubble thing why not put a simple scene explaining that the heroes have Wash bubbles.
Instead of showing these elements when they are convenient for the plot.

I’d say I more so I wanted to direct my original comment towards people who more or less say or are saying that because something came out of nowhere or because they weren’t expecting it that it shouldn’t have or couldn’t have happened.
But for me as a member of the audience, I try to think of things in fiction not necessarily as they happen but I try to take all prior events into consideration, kind of like taking the events of the whole story to then draw full judgment on it. I don’t get myself stuck on trying theorize what will happen and then be caught unaware because things happen in a completely different way then I would have thought otherwise.
I can’t bring myself to judge something as a whole before it is even finished, I started falling out of love with Bleach but I decided to read it until the end before I fully thought to myself that I just don’t like it anymore, at least not enough to stay aboard the hype train. Well, I even read the most recent Hell Arc set up chapter despite my final thoughts. Also despite my thoughts on Bleach I read Tite Kubo’s Burn the Witch I enjoyed it, just wanted to say this as an example of me reading an author’s other works even if I didn’t love the one they made before.
This also works as a segway to talking about how even though I fell out of love with Death Note (again after experiencing it though to the end) I’m enjoying my time reading Bakuman (made by the same person). (As to why please re-read previous paragraph).
These are all my current thoughts on the matter, thank you for reading.
P.S. I’m not trying to judge anybody I just want to generate calm and collected discussion based on everyone’s difference of opinion.
You know we’ve had some incredible and nail biting arcs in the story, incredible runs but to see the same writer making such odd choices recently is alarming
The story peaked at the Dabi reveal. Everything after that has been a downward spiral
MHA has been really, really bad recently and that’s not even being disingenuous at this point. He’s just making up shit on the fly that has no basis in the established story. The one thing I notice about modern mangaka is that they really struggle to provide backstory and foreshadowing and cave their story to the rabid casual fanbase. It wouldn’t hurt to have a few flashback chapters that show what you are trying to convey, the story is undoubtedly being rushed to the finish line.
@@thefives7ar I think that Hori had a vision for the story, expanded on it as he was going on, and then after the war he was just burnt out and wanted to finish it ASAP, that's why the pacing has increased and the attention to detail that it once had decreased. It's like certain plotlines just weren't fulfilled at all or not in a way that was satisfying. Hawks and Dabi's plotline and the potential it had, Deku, Bakugo, and Shoto's development, Eri and Mirio, the Big 3, All For One and Shigaraki. A few examples of things that deserved more development or developed in a way that wasn't satisfying. I'm just disappointed, I had high expectations for the series and it was my favorite, but then it just kinda flopped. At least we have JJK and CSM

1. All this drama and Bakugo dying is unnecessary.
2. Bakugo being revived is also unnecessary because there is literally nothing else for his character to do besides boost Deku.
His character arc was completed when he made amends with Deku. The only purpose his resurrection serves is to placate Bakugo stans. He isn’t going to defeat Shiggy. He isn’t going to become the #1 hero. The main character has been sidelined in the most important battle yet to make room for a contrived bit of drama around a character who has nothing left to do in this story. Going back to point one, I would’ve either killed Bakugo permanently to motivate Deku, or left him alone and gave him a side battle against some B-listers so he can have a nice moment before shit wraps up.

Feels like those that really wanted Bakugo dead didn’t think a character as narrative heavy as him could stay dead.
I wasn’t sure what Horikoshi would pull if he’d get brought back, but this is real pinch, the kind most characters wouldn’t see through without healing factors of their own or magic is involved to wish away the event entirely. Different strokes for different folks is what it comes down to.
Bakugo dying would've at least been unpredictable and made the story feel like it had stakes. They're fighting a brutal war, just because he's a main character doesn't mean he can't die.
On top of that killing him off in a non extravagant way would really hit hard and come as a shock, it would make the series feel like there are GENUINE stakes especially since at the end of the day we know Midoriya wins somehow.
Like "Holy shit, they just killed off such an important character in such a nonchalant way, anything could happen now!"
Instead we get the generic bs that everyone expected to happen lmfao. Notice how everyone sees this maneuver as a waste of time? As soon as Bakugo "died" we all knew he would come back.

@@francisignatiusborrero5986 thats is how I feel, the damage that doesn’t just go away in a single chapter compared to say Naruto, where both MC were dying and they get god powers and no signs of wear or tear, or even recent with black clover, Yuno was left for dead impaled with a bone sword EMBEDDED IN HIS CHEST LIKE EXCALIBUR.
Heck, Dabi is basically a walking corpse yet he gets to continue to cause mayhem after overworking his quirk to the point of near death, but heaven forbid Bakugo is saved much less get back up in a chapter like his contemporaries.
Now it’s been several chapters and he’s still not back in action yet so the issue (I feel) is less about the scene and more about his appeal as a character for folks. I’m noticing a trend of folks that think he’s easily replaceable with another cast member (which is impossible).
Seeing as the trope of “near death” has made many desensitized to the threat of death in a lot of battle shonen series, I feel like it becomes less about the writing and more about his character and biased expectations of the series. I think that’s where the controversy really starts to find it’s ground.

The way the story is set up right now there is so much exposition that has to happen and I feel like Deku should be there, it is weird with all of these little details needing to be fleshed out and Shiaraki/AFO having these crises playing out without Deku there to witness it. And it was sooo long ago when Deku was above the water and he had the mysterious things coming after him and we still don't know what that is

OPM Theory: (don’t know if it’s out there)
The finale villain known as GOD will be revealed to be Saitama himself. Either it will be a version of him from another dimension or from the Future(since time travel was introduced). One foreshadowed it when Garou said “Only person who can beat God is god himself”. All the moments where the public has treated saitama bad, when he questions his hero work wonders if it’s even worth it, and constant boredom has manifested a version of saitama where he now finds enjoyment torturing the people of earth. Maybe that’s why we have a detailed description of gods resurrection, it’s cause god experience and lived as saitama.

I'm mad at this chapter because it throws out all the rules the comic was establishing. All might explained a quirk is like a muscle, and when in use it is like flexing that muscle. Which is why the students went through all that crazy training. So I feel like for edge shot to become Bakugo's heart, he would have to be constantly flexing his quirk, but how will he if he is now technically dead ?
This could have been rectified if they just had one panel where wash gave heroes bubbles so their wounds wouldn’t get infected

The manga community has been incredibly critical these past few months, for mha it might be justified- but you have people losing their minds over sanji having a smaller bounty than zoro.

I just find this whole thing just crazy wild in that no one initially thought Bakugo would die let alone be brought back to life in the manner that he is
For the next chapter, I hope that there would be a scene where Tomura is about to land a fatal blow on Mirko but then Bakugo suddenly wakes up and jumps in to save her by kicking her away from the attack and blocking it with a new version of AP-Shot. Basically in a similar manner to how Bakugo saved Jiro during the Joint Training Arc.
I saw this title before reading the chapter, and I was expecting MUCH worse.
Are there ass-pulls? Sure, kinda. Honestly though, if TomurAFO is having existential issues, Le Million is constantly obscuring his vision, and Mirko is just...well, being Mirko, but harder, then I can see it being possible to buy time for Bakugo to be saved by Best Jeanist and Edgeshot.
However, my biggest complaint would have to be the lack of precedent for Best Jeanist and Edgeshot being qualified heart surgeons. It's one thing to tamper with things on an extremely intricate level using quirks that are all about precision and technique, but this is just...a bit of an ass-pull. If we got a scene similar to this, but on a lesser scale and earlier on in the timeline, this wouldn't bother me a big deal, personally. The only real precedent I can come up with is AFO not taking Best Jeanist's quirk because it relied too much on skill and Edgeshot taking down Kurogiri by "playing with his insides".
Personally, I think Horikoshi should cut his losses and take a break now, and finish this arc in a better state of being later. Admittedly, I'm quite curious on what's happening next with TomurAFO though, but I want whatever he's planned next to be executed with full effectiveness, not on the brink of mangaka exhaustion.
I think, personally, as a fan of Bakugo he would have much bigger of an impact and legacy if he died. The fact he put the fear of God into TomurAFO and he's still shaken afterward is testament that if Bakugo died he would leave an unbreakable, eternal legacy. The one who traumatized AFO and died, meaning all of shiggy's trash talk would be empty.
If you fear someone enough that you have to kill them and you can't coherently fight to your best after because you're still so shaken, that makes for a bad ass that stepped to you and died doing their duty.
Bakugo's revival rings hollow, unfortunately. People die in wars, but I'm tired of main characters being exempt from that.
Sadly I doubt Jump will let him and at this point most of the damage is done
The whole heart surgeon thing feels like a nitpick as they both use quirks that require immense control and technique to use it isn't really that far fetched to believe that they can use it to save a life like that.
For Edge is makes sense cause of how he utilizes his quirk, he HAS to know every last thing about the body that he can

I'm not saying reviving bakugo is bad but due to the experience and abilities maybe edgeshot should be on the battlefield and not sacrifice his self but I might be wrong
The way this played out gives me the impression that he originally intended to leave Bakugo dead but either changed his mind or was forced to change it.

I liked it, but the random bubble part is a little weird, not unbelievable but a small scene before the fights began with Wash handing some in the background of panels would have been great.

I think the bigger point here is not so much that it specifically has to be Edgeshot that’s saving Bakugo, I feel like it’s more so that just the older generation is trying to make a path for the future generation and this is a strange/unexpected but also needed example I guess
The funny thing about this chapter is that a TINY bit of foreshadowing would make it perfect. All that would need to happen is 30 chapters prior have all the pro heros that are left confirm out loud that they would happily sacrifice their life for a student. Then done deal no problemo. Because really all that happened is that a hero sacrificed their life to save a teenager. Which honestly does not sound that bizarre.
Even Crust had a moment with Eraserhead before he died. Edgeshot's death would feel earned if we saw him actually have a connection with Bakugo or something

Bakugo should have died tbh. Here's the thing, just because he's a main character doesn't mean he has to die doing something important. Killing him off so suddenly and in such an anticlimactic way would honestly make this series feel like there's stakes in it, realistically speaking not everyone goes out in an extravagant way. Hero or not.

I think the most insulting part about all of it is the fact that Horikoshi has the audacity to drag this shit out for as long as he has been. It's been like 2 or 3 months since this fight started and we are STILL waiting on Midoriya to show up. Mf is putting even Goku to shame with how long he's taking to show up and help his friends and Goku had to traverse all of snake way lmao.
This manga is boring af and a waste of time atm. I'd highly recommend just waiting a year for the manga to end and then finishing it in 1 sitting. With how long they're taking to pace this fight properly I've practically lost all interest.
If you think about it, what’s even the point of the fake out death. Edgeshot isn’t a main character by any means, they didn’t need a shining moment. This literally only served as a fake-out death and nothing more for the story

I feel like things like the bubble is the results of the Editor intervention, since, like you said, they are performing heart surgery on the battlefield, he might have had the same reaction, and asked Horikoshi to find a way to make it more "believable", prehemptively. (that's his job after all).
I'm also wondering if Edgeshot isn't an aftertought, since Jeanist wast already there and starting to take care of things with his similar power. Maybe they decided last minute that Jeanist shouldn't die?
The only thing that really confuses me is the kind of back and forth with wether or not shigiraki can effortlessly kill everyone present with ease feels like one chapter the heroes (like tamaki and mirio) can’t lay a finger on him but now I guess mirko can? It’s gunna be vastly better for both parties if he just takes a few months or a year off even to relax, rejuvenate and get back into the mindset of this story writing is fun and not just something he has to do. It's a controversial chapter they're doing heart surgery in the middle of a battle field against shigarki who said to be a globe threat in a space confined space this should be highly impossible considering their going against shigarki of all people who should be more dangerous in such a confined space and I don't believe miruko can hold off shigarki this much to the point that the heart surgery is successful I find that clunky and that bubble came out of nowhere 😅

It's clear that Horikoshi needs a long break, but he has set a deadline for himself to finish by the end of the year.
Someone kept trying equate too me that Shinso's quirk giving complex commands is as much of an asspull as Edge's random ultimate move here and I disrespectfully disagreed. Hori sets up via showing and exposition that Shinso cant give complex commands, but that doesnt mean that couldn't change so he trained and overcame that.
A fucking panel of Edgeshot explaining how his ultimate move works and that he trained for years off screen doesnt equate too Shinso's. We saw enough of Shinso's beginnings and progression onscreen that we can fill in the gaps to his actions at the wars start making perfect sense. We've only ever seen Edge use his power in one specific way since his intro in Kamino, and now he pulls a technique out of his ass for a specific moment. Plus he pulls out a Wash bubble for seemingly no other reason than performing surgery??
Like so many keep saying, it feels like Hori is just writing to write but without any of the care of setup he's been doing for 8 years. Edgeshot just shows up when the plot needs him to fix this problem and he magically has the right cards to attempt it. To the people that kept saying just wait it might not work, yall can kick rocks now. Hori went out of his way this chapter to state if this fails Bakugo will die. So it makes no sense to kill off Bakugo, attempt revival only for it to fail. Its a roundabout way to kill someone off that wasnt necessary and just slows the story down.
I think shigaraki mentally breaking down will enable AFO to eventually take full control of his mind and body. I wouldn't be surprised if this is where it ultimately ends up.
I mean Edgeshot do enter people bodies . That bubble really might had been for him to sanitize himself when he done with his hero work

We saw how much Bakugo beat himself up when All Might had to retire after saving him. He blamed himself. So I wonder why they chose to go this route... I wont judge until we see where it goes.
Hopefully this won’t work there’s still a chance this the cop out won’t work completely and Deku may have to fix this or he just dies in the end regardless.
I personally am highly intrigued and im just waiting for a few theories i have. Sweet little Wash i like them being incorporated. My guess is also something is going on with Horikoshi. My guess its management and his editor. They tell him how many pages they want and then they need to approve those pages. At this point he is more then likey stressed because of this.
I'm really hoping the anime fills in these backstories like what was done with Black Clover...Edgeshot has been one of my faves and I really don't want his story flippantly finished.
I believe Bakugo has one for all and he unlocked it cuz it was dormant from him not knowing it was there after the fight with nine. He won't be able to use it like deku though cuz his quirk will be destroyed by one for all. Or sense he has edge shot he'll be able too use it but still at a limit but not to far off of dekus strength. I also think that maybe he'll even be able to use edgeshots quirk allowing him to move edgeshots quirk ability and mend himself as he damages his body.
The whole open heart surgery/bubble thing could have just been avoided with one line… after the huge battle’s all over Bakugo had a hospital-stay to get rid of an infection. Done, that’s it.
Also, how doesn’t Bakugo have brain damage lol. Hasn’t he not had any oxygen for god knows how long.

The previous one for all user that pops up in the flashback is clearly related to Bakugo, it was obvious from when we first seen him. This chapter pretty much confirms it.
What i don't understand is how it's all okay to revive him just by fixing his heart and restart his beating, but at the same time, all his organs (more importantly, the brain) have been oxygen deprived for several minutes. If he wake's up, he should be comatose...
the bubble would have made more sense if jeanist had it because they could easily say edgeshots quirk doesnt need sanitation and it'd make sense since he's been in so many peoples bodies before without them getting infected.

Still can’t see edgeshot repairing his heart like that and even then I don’t see how it can pump oxygenated blood anymore with it being in shambles already. And I still don’t like this fakeout. So bakugo’s blast had a delayed effect or it just worked because Shiggy was scared? I don’t know. Mirko and the little Shiggy part were the good parts for me, but the rest was pretty strange. Considering the last thing Shiggy did was a strange new power, someone is probably gonna die
At this point everyone needs to stop finding things to complain about and just enjoy the ride. I have realised that despite my frustration with the story, I still like it. I still want to know what will happen next. Yes there are flaws and I will not ignore them but at this point I am tired of bring angry. I just want to enjoy MHA for as long as possible.
The part that bothers me about these last few parts, let alone this last ark, is how rushed everything has been. Yeah you can say Horikoshi maybe not getting enough rest so he not giving his all on the story so he rushing through key points. But to that I say, take your time and get some actual sleep then. I don't care if you take a good hiatus. It's better than you rushing through it and making people think you just don't know what you're doing or worst you don't care. And for those that'll say "is not on him, it's the deadlines", I get it deadlines exist and the people giving him those should know that good working conditions and proper rest is the best thing you can give a writer. So if they cared about their product they'd let him fucking rest and come back to give his Plus Ultra effort 👌🏽
