What a beautiful trailer about such a tragic event. I love that our Muslim Brothers and Sisters we're there standing in solidarity with us. The Muslim brother was right. Our religions are extremely similar. After all, we are brothers. Both sons of Abraham. Shalom v Salaam to all.
There was a community meeting at Shaare Torah the next week. A Christian and Muslim man guarded the synagogue. I talked to them for a bit. They were so nice.
We dont live far from Sq. Hill...that day hit us in the gut twice as our beloved pooch Bruti died..even after several years its very difficult to process that someone in Pgh did this to his fellow community members. 💔
I know . I live in Bellevue . It’s hard to think that my neighbors might be so hateful. I have a black wife and mixed children, I would like to believe My wife and kids are safe from hatred and violence . Love from north Pittsburgh ( Bellevue)

I worked at the same prison the synagogue shooter was in. He was actually in the same pod I was working in and he was the first inmate that I saw in person right next to me. Pretty crazy to be right next to someone who killed multiple people. Terrible and has no respect to life.
My poor friends post every year in memory of their friends inside. It breaks my heart. I bike past this everytime and pray for these folks.
Such a horrible day for Pittsburgh.

Executing the shooter IS too easy. Life in prison is hope for the innocent, but the guilty watch themselves fade into harmlessness, alone and forgotten. Fitting.
At least with the death penalty, shooter's name will be permanently out of the news, out of sight. No possibility of victims' families seeing his name/info randomly. All trace gone.
This is an excellent but heartbreaking documentary.
This hurts my heart. I’m from Pittsburgh. Every thing going on with Kanye is making me feel like more violence is to come. I am not religious but I do believe in a higher power, I know that the god I believe in will prevail, light and life will prevail. Be safe and vigilant . I pray that no violence comes from Kanye’s delusional banter. I stand against hatred in all forms. I don’t hate Kanye . I hope he gets help and he doesn’t hurt himself or anyone.
How can you not be religious but believe in God?
@@mgsiddle because I used to go to church. I don’t anymore. I dont agree with the church , I don’t agree with the current “ story “ of god , I don’t t believe that god loves some people and not others . I don’t believe that only some of us are going to heaven ……so on and so on. I choose to believe in a god that loves everyone, I choose to believe in a god that does not fit the conventional religious definition of “God”.
I just don't understand blind hate. I love and appreciate your comments.

I was in Oakland the day this happened and had driven right past it about an hour before it happened. Pittsburgh pretends to be so diverse and tolerant but it’s not and never has been-mostly towards black People but now it’s seeping into other communities as well. Horrific!
I can't wait to see it, I'm sooo happy my husband Hannibal Lokumbe from Smithville ,TX got to be a part of this.
My mother was involved in Hannibal's concert in Philadelphia, and also featured in this film. They both connected at the HBO premiere last week in NYC. My thanks to you and your husband for such a wonderful tribute to this tragic event.

As much as an Antisemitic Shooting is told with great sensitivity, we need more documentaries on Mosque Shootings and Islamophobia that’s becoming more and more subtle.
Edit: It’s reassuring that it’s touched upon in the trailer.
Muslims are also Semitic. But yes, I agree people need to be educated and stop the hatred. Period.
I have not studied this event, but I remember reading that these good people had sent aid to the poor, poor migrants that are flooding through our southern border and that the shooter made mention of “helping the invaders”. My heart goes out to people that help people. My wrath goes out to people that hurt people. I can’t help it. I sent money to the fund set up and if do it again if I wasn’t broke. How sad !

In memory of the shooting victims. Terrible thing. There should be one of the Sandy Hook shooting. HBO looks good. Evan Rachel Wood is great in Westworld. She should have got pregnant in 2005 or 2004 or 2006. HBO should make more documentaries.

Because it premieres at 9pm on HBO. They won’t release it on Max before the premiere.
