I can't say enough to express the respect and gratitude I feel for every officer who searched relentlessly until they found the remains of both Anna and Gracie. Those paid, and those who volunteered, both worked in horrific circumstances until they made sure that mother and daughter could be laid to rest with dignity and God's grace. After the devastation of losing their daughter and granddaughter I'm sure that being able to lay them to rest probably brought some solace to their family that loved them.

Anna was from my hometown of Dunedin, New Zealand so I well remember the case of the cowardly husband who used a spear gun to unnecessarily dispatch of not only his wife but their wee daughter too, several days after her mother was murdered. First time I've heard the specific details though and I literally felt simultaneously faint and nauseous listening to what happened to Gracie. I sincerely hope that while she was unsuccessfully fighting for her life, she didn't understand that it was her own father who was hurting her. The same with Anna, that she never knew it was her own husband killing her off.

The public defender's estimated legal costs for a death penalty case from indictment to execution are approximately $1.2 million.

This is the act of a criminal psychopath and a coward. Here in America we had the Chris Watts case and the Laci Peterson case to compare with. But this guy was an absolute unhinged monster. Pure Evil and purely selfish. Rest in peace to the family that he slaughtered so cruelly.😢🙏💖😔

Haven't watched the video yet but I live 20 minutes away from Mornington and remember when this happened. His pathetic snivelling on the news was not convincing. He is a total bacterial infection of wasted human tissue, incredibly self-focused. His wife, daughter and unborn child deserved to live and to be away from the farce of a man he pretended to be. I hope they are at peace and free in the after life. ❤

True. I was not 100% ready for my child.....but, I love her so much. She has brought all the family so much joy. We can never be really "ready" for children. It is about how we adjust to changes.

And the one in the U.S is not? It is liken to an undeveloped Country. Look at the rate of crime that is no longer considered "Crime" due to lack of police officers. Look at the number of murders, rapes, and all else. People who are RESIDENTS who have WORKED THEIR TAIL off for what they had are living in cars due to squatters who they can't get to leave. People cannot get help from any of the programs available FOR residents. Specifically due to the money being given to non citizens. Look at the open borders and criminals pouring in being given hotel rooms and stay to live comfortably. It is SICKENING.

The difference in the way police forces in different countries is stunning.
It would seem that I England, the cops make an arrest once probable cause that a person is linked to a particular crime is established.
In New Zealand it would appear that they won’t arrest until enough evidence is gathered for a conviction.
The United States differs still, and seems to arrest somewhere in the middle of these two countries. Weird.
