Sid no sold the leg drop because Papa Shango was supposed to run in and stop the pin. Shango was late to the ring, so Sid had to kick out so eh wouldn't be pinned.
He was one of my favorite wrestlers of all time.. I can’t remember any body who could.take a Drop Toe Hold like him .He was so far in front of anybody in the business .
Other shoots report Sid no-showing for important reasons...like softball games, in addition to no-selling a Hogan leg-drop at a WM. Seems like Sid cares about Sid and not so much about being "just business."
Sid may be embellishing his chat with Malenko a bit, to make him sound tougher. But that said, he's dead right. If Sid is being built up as a big monster for the upcoming PPV, are you really going to have 5'7" Dean Malenko taking him down with moves? Granted, wrestling booking has gotten so bad that everybody gets taken down by everything so that stuff doesn't actually hurt a character anymore, but good booking says you don't have monster main eventers tossed around by midgets.

probably not. sid has been known to run his mouth. that's why guys like Pillman and arn wanted to fight him
