***This is a revised version. I mispronounced megabits and said “bytes” instead. I felt it important to correct this, even at the expense of views.
Good job issuing a correction, you are correct to use megabits in the context of network speeds. One idea is to eg, make unlisted UA-cam videos available for Patreon supporters to review 48 hours before releasing it to the public. Most of the time you'll be able to make the video public 48 hours later without any changes by using the UA-cam scheduling function.
Just as I gave you crap for that and the latency example, credit where it's due, you edited the video and re-uploaded, that shows integrity, and shows that you care. I applaud that.

Blue Origin: has not even reached orbit yet

Blue Origin is becoming what Spacex haters thought Spacex would be: a joke.
Spacex: “Hello! How may I help you?”
Blue Origin: “Hi. My name is, ummmm, Beff Jezos...I am calling to inquire about what you charge to put up 1000 satellites into orbit.”

They didn't even build their turbo pump assembly for it,instead it was outsourced to one of the original developer of the Fast Track,Barber Nichols
Blue origin build all their engine and system them self!
I have to disagree with the part where you stated that Blue Origin "has the means to get them there" (satellites to orbit) as they have not yet launched anything to orbit. They do not posses a rocket that has proven itself capable of getting to orbit.
But they have proved they will. They beat aerejet rocketdyne for ULA Vulcan rocket which if they beat the best rocket engine manufacturer on earth responsible for the Apollo program and shuttle among others...then blue origin engines work for Boeing and Lockheed Martin then new Glenn will work
@@TheMagicJIZZ this is like reality vs fiction
Raptor will be even better then Blue Orgins engine, which says a lot. And it's flown nearly a total of 5 times ( 1x 20m hop, 3x 150m hop, 1x 12.5km hop). How many times has Blue Orgins engine flew?
@@TheMagicJIZZ by your logic, I have proven that I will become the next president of the United States. All because I already work for the government and I just came up with a plan to run for office. That’s my proof.
So far, Blue Origin has seen a lot of success with its test flights. The New Shepard has landed nine out of the 10 times it’s flown, and the vehicle has proven that it can keep people safe even in emergency scenarios.
They are not far behind.and the chinese and the russian will have the same technology before 2030.

@Stan110 Yeah I know thats all they have.
I have no doubt they'll reach orbit sometime soon. They have the funds. If you have the funds you can do nearly anything... just don't try to enslave humanity, it won't go well for you.

One has a head start, a working orbital rocket, and an already well-founded factory pumping out Starlinks faster than they can be put in the sky. The other doesn't have anything. There's no competition here, Starlink will revolutionize internet in developing countries and rural areas forever. I'm hyped!
Me to can finally have more then 1mbs
Price is to hot for developing countries, only easy guy can paid $90 !
@@virgilius7036 If a whole village is working together to do it, then it's possible. Plus, it's not going to be cheap enough for everyone for another 10ish years anyway once all satellites are up and running with enough bandwidth.
You need a rocket company to compete with Starlink.
I've seen this game before. They say the improvements will bring costs down for consumers. After the improvements, the requirements go up, the price goes up, and your access per dollar is less.
I really love the content this Chanel produces ❤
1:09 bit of a stretch to say they have the means to get satellites up. They've never even launched *anything* to orbit yet, even though the company has been around longer than SpaceX has.
May 2nd, 2019,10:00AM ET: Blue Origin successfully performed another test launch of its New Shepard system today. Both the New Shepard rocket and capsule touched down safely back at the company’s West Texas facility around 10 minutes after liftoff. The capsule reached about 346,000 feet, or more than 65 miles, eclipsing the recognized boundary of space.
Some people said Starlink is too expensive!! Definitely not someone who ment to be target service customers.
As the service goes open to everyone, it will get cheaper I think

Starlink will have a huge first mover advantage, but there will be ample market to support a second provider.
Starlink will be way ahead when Amazon gets their fingers out of the rear...
To me, it looks like this will be another SpaceX vs Blue Origin.
Looks like SpaceX will lower prices to compete even with 5G in some places. They already have lowered prices.

Anyone that says Starlink is too expensive has never lived in a location where there is no internet or internet so slow, unreliable and yet so expensive that makes Starlink the bargain choice, which are all reasons Starlink even made any business case to begin with.

That (starlink) is only expensive for people living in areas that already have adequate broadband options. For virtually anywhere outside of a city it is a game changer.
But this is an interesting fact. When the first computers and internet were established among IT monsters at that time, there were no issues releted to MB(s) to use the internet ;then suddenly smth came and made the internet available with the use MB (s) .Is this for monetary purposes?

ah yes lag when a keyboard input has to go through the internet to be registered
I will pay anything for a good connection. I’m currently gaming on 250 ping with a 1mb download... so this is a dream come true for where I live.
If Starship becomes operational, it would be really hard for other companies to catch up with Starlink. Even with partially reusable Falcon 9 launching 60 Starlink satellites, the launch cost still more expensive than the satellites.
I hope they can get the monthly prices down and offer coverage to major metropolitan areas as well. There are plenty of neighborhoods and buildings in big cities that major ISP's refuse to upgrade with fiber connections, and the major players like AT&T and Comcast are dragging their feet because they don't have any competition. However, if large swaths of the population have access to a viable alternative like Starlink or Project Kuiper, it just might be enough to force the hand of the incumbents in getting them to deploy more fiber connections at competitive price points.
$99 isn't a bad price for good internet especially when you can bring it with you (camping, second homes) we are paying right at $99 for spectrum right now.
