This song is so epic, I thought the video would relate to the song a bit more. This song completely reminds me of Data from Star Trek Next Generation.
I was expecting more at the vid because of how good the song is.
There's no way this was filmed recently. Effects can be applied to make it look like VHS, but the clothing, hairstyles AND dance styles are distinctly 80s. Not faked 80s, or reproduced 80s or movie 80s. The real deal. And the call sign for the radio station in the background: KFRC. It was a radio station in San Francisco from 1924 to 2005. Too late for this video.

I think that in this case he's referring to the slang term for beta. Beta means something new or experimental (it typically refers to software stuff that is still under tests). So maybe he is talking about finding a relationship that may work or may not...I don't really know, that's just what I gathered.

I know what you mean here - not sure why you got so many negative votes. The "beta version" of something is usually the first version made - It's like a "test version" used to find the errors. If you watch Big Bang Theory, Leonard and Penny use the term "beta" in this manner for their relationship, meaning that their relationship is at the test phase where you work out all the "bugs" so to speak. The second version is called the alpha. It comes after the beta, but is first in terms of quality :)

The beta version is still an early, pre-release version, but it's often tested by a wider circle, whether people connected with the company or the public.
