I spent YEARS searching for this song. I had heard it on the local indie station like forever ago. So much googling and i couldnt find it. I was watching Shameless and its on the first episode! Since then its on repeat, and ive shown this band to sooo many people. Its a banger.
I saw them live last week and they were glorious, they were so much fun to watch and everyone looked like they were really enjoying what they were doing. Definitely one of my favorite bands!
25 years ago, we called this band "The Police." hehe. Seriously, my back was turned the first time this video came on my TV and I thought it was Fleetwood Mac and The Police doing a collaboration. That's a compliment, by the way...
Yikes! Is the bass line supposed to sound like that offbeat? It sounds like the bass track is a half beat off from the rest of the record. I'm all for Ra Ra Riot but that bass is just unenjoyable (for most of the song, the breakdown starting @ 2:15 is good).

i remember when i heard about these guys, one of the gals, (violin or chello, i think chello. i dont know) her grandmother was in the book store i worked at,in phoenix AZ, talk me up about music and her grand daughters band and how proud she was. and because her grandma was so sweet and cool i gave them a listen and it was worth it. holy crap like 07 maybe. 08??? i miss that job. stupid i pad and kindle and stupid cool technology.

Ok, so his song is pretty great. Not as great as a couple songs on The Rhumb Line, but ok, none the less. But ONE question. It seems like ever since the last drummer passed away, the new drummer has been out in the background of EVERY song and video. I understand that you need time to mourn. But it seems like he is purposefully put behind everyone here. I would think that's a bit offensive. Just accept him into the band already and continue on.
Well this is bound to get more views as it already has started. Why? Dianna Agron just added it on her playlist in her tumblr and there are a lot of us in this world who go where she leads. LOL. So here I am and there will be more to follow. Decent song. Not bad.
