Table Saw Outfeed Table Build

- I made this simple outfeed table for may table saw. This was a quick and easy woodworking project that makes using a table saw much safer. I've made a couple similar outfeed tables in the past. They were inspired by one I watched Norm build on the New Yankee Workshop years ago. The simple design and construction leaves plenty of room underneath to store my trash can and saw horses. I hope you enjoy the build. Thanks for watching!

Great video. I wish Norm was still doing his show. He was awesome.
Thank you. I miss Norm's show too. I learned a lot from watching him, Roy and David Marks
Really solid and helpful addition to the shop Dave 😊 I'd like to do something similar, but I'll need to improvise. I just have a block of wood clamped to my workbench for long lengths of wood. I would love a level floor 😁 My workshop was a service garage for heavy vehicles and the centre of it has a service pit that I covered with boards. The floor is the most uneven surface I've seen in any space, so it limits me to static objects propped up level by blocks of wood, but I love working in there 😊 ॐ
Very nicely done!
Great build.
Nice job. I like it.
Very nice! I think most of us (your viewers), have missed seeing your projects / tutorials for helpful insight and education. Thank you for the video.
Thanks for the support. I took a little time off but am excited to be back in the shop!
Dude that’s great
Thanks!
Nice!
Thank you Guy!
Great video Dave. If it was good enough for old Norm...
I’ve missed your videos! Hope you’ve been able to spend time with the family.
Thanks Rob. I'm excited to spend some time in the shop again
Keep it up
Thanks
Nice job👍 Wish I even had room for a true outfeed table. One day. Great video 👍
Thanks
Looking great man! Also thank you for thinking about us that don't have a tablesaw yet and have to cut on the floor using a circle saw! And your easy way of explaining woodworking words like " make a groove, a dado" love it! 😍
Thank you
Nice. Way easier than the way I did it. I might redo mine now!
Simple but very nice. Great job. I may use this one myself.
Thanks!
That look great! I've been thinking about building one too. I need mine to detach so I can move the saw for cleaning and other reasons.
Well done man! Good to see you uploading again 🤙🤙
Thanks man!
Looks good!
Thanks.
Great project! I need to make an outfeed table as well. This gave me some good ideas. Thanks for the video. 👍🏻
Thanks!
Suhweet Dave. I recently changed my shop around and am now without an outfeed table - and strangely - I was making tapered plywood legs myself just yesterday and cursing under my breath at not having it.
Thanks Rob! Cant wait to see the new shop lay out and outfeed table when you get done.
I like the contrast of your table saw and the outfeed table, wellcome back hope you are doing fine
Thanks! Doing great. I just took some time off to spend with family and the day job has been a little hectic. It feels good to get back in the shop though
I did enjoy! 😊
Thanks!
G’day mate, love seeing you back on the a Tube mate & a very nice out feed table to boot. Looking forward to your next projects because you’ve now got a great addition to the shop built projects that’ll stand you in good stead.
Cheers buddy 🍻👍👍👍
Thanks Sumo! I am going to try and pace myself a little better this time but I a have a few projects I want to make
Twisted Woodshop Glad to hear Dave 🍻👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome looking and very practical table. Nice attention to detail. What kind of bit was that at 2:57 that you were using? I've never seen one like that before.
👍🏻👍🏻
which powermatic jointer do you have? do you like it?
I'm not sure of the model number but it's an 8 inch helical head. I love it. It cuts so easy. It is a little messy but I have an old harbor freight dust collector. I plan to upgrade soon and hopefully the new cyclone will do a better job and getting all the chips and dust.
Hey man you’ve been MIA a year now. Hope all is well.
Thanks for checking in! I'm around. Just working in the shop and spending time with the family. Going to start recording some projects soon
Great video! What kind of rag do you use when apply the polyurethane. I’m applying stain and I’m getting a lot of lint when I apply it?
Thanks. I usually use the rags from the big box stores that are made from tshirts
Very nicely done!
Thank you!
