- In this video I demonstrate how to cook savoury beef mince the easy way.
Savoury beef mince (ground beef) was a staple for me when I was growing up. It is a very cost-effective meal and a great way of sneaking vegetables into your children's food. It is so simple to make, and with the addition of a few flavourings and colourful vegetables, it can be appealing to the eyes as well as the taste buds!

Savoury beef mince can be served with potatoes, pasta or rice and a side dish or two to make a delicious balanced meal.
Additionally it can be served as Sloppy Joes over toasted bread, or it can be cooled and used as a pie filling 😋

Pete, This is delicious. I recall growing up eating much the same recipe. It is frugal and tasty. I always loved it served over rice. You made it just right! Thanks for sharing the memories!

The BEST quick comfort meal, especially over mash, or we had it over toasted bread. Never tried gravy granuals.. Is it salty like powdered stock? Thank you, Dave, for a lovely childhood fave.❤❤❤❤🥰🥰
Gravy granules are more often used as an instant gravy mixed with boiling water. It seasons and thickens as you stir it in.
