- Aloo, aloo! Another midweek saviour, heading your way, thanks to #MakeItWednesday! I can’t believe how much flavour you can pack into beef mince, but this recipe really shows how vibrant and versatile this staple supermarket ingredient is. This ground mince is bursting with Indian spices and umami, plus the tender potato adds a lovely creaminess to proceedings too. I love serving this dish with delicately fragranced rice and some fresh flourishes at the end. All up, this is a wonderful weeknight option for the whole family to enjoy - as well as your tastebuds.

Watching from Germany, it's 2 am and it's taking every ounce of willpower to keep from marching into the kitchen to make this

I don't mean to be rude...In a world of cyber crimes and profile hacking..id rather not... Opt to omit....all the best
Watching from Mumbai.
Quick tip: always wait for the ghee/oil to heat up before adding the cumin... it should crackle immediately... that releases the flavour and fragrance better. Same when you're adding it for the meat dish... add the jeera (cumin) with some oil and let it crackle.
Also, the jeera rice (cumin rice) looks way too watery/moist. Dry it up some more (best way is to use a pressure cooker or rice maker)
Love your channel and recipes and looking forward to more Indian-inspired videos!

Thanks for sharing your recipes.

Bermuda here, I am a big fan, love your recipes thank you
Watching from Pakistan.. Love your fast cooking recipes.. I brown the onions first to give the mince extra flavor and color. Also Marion powdered Garam masala should be added at the end of cooking... it blackens and camouflages the natural texture of the food. And the wholesome garam masala at the beginning... That's how I do it...
Marion I love your way Around the kitchen, and your kitchen table is so neat what a clean cook you are 🥰🥰🥰

Thanks so much for making one of my favorite dishes. I usually fry my tomato paste first since the raw smell of the tomato is gone by the time the dish is finished.
Me too. Keema is my favorite go to recipe, passed down from my Indian mom, when I have 1 lb of hamburger to do something to grill...oh, yes, Oklahoma Burgers, very thin burgers with carmelized onions on the grill, topped with American cheese, no substitutions for it. Tastes better than you think it will be. -- Ft. Worth, TX here.
@@spicerack4397 Oh yum...I may have to try that. Thanks!
