Baltune went all the way across the map to get Lyralia with Marinelord directly next door has got to be a violation of the rules. That is just crazy teaming. The fact player names are not hidden proves this tournament is just amateur hour. I'll watch the videos on your channel to support you but this is a straight up turd.
Picked this up last week, I was trash. Watched this guy play HRE (my starting civ) and now I can at least 9:20 castle with confidence. Was at 16 minutes before following his set up. Gotta say u the man. My issue is I start fighting rather than let them farm up, not confident in my late game macro yet
It sucks if the rules are not the same for everyone. Hope Drongo can talk some sense into people for the next games. But Outback Octagon will never be a serious and fair tournament. It is more like series of showmatches with some drama sprinkled over it. Fun to watch though.
There was a rule in a previous tournament that you get more points when you kill the person next to you first, I think that should be implemented here too. It would prevent teaming in the beginning at least.
I hope you took a deep breath, slept on it and then gave your feedback brother. It’s a poor experience for the viewer, that’s all I’ll say. I've said it in a Drongo video and I'll repeat it here. This ingame chat shouldn't be allowed in a tournament. It is not cool at all. It's not even fun to watch, I can't imagine how you feel playing in this situation. Worst of all, organizers seem to encourage this chatting and teaming. Total lame.
ffa tournaments on stage would be so fire. No Names displayed, no option to discord and team. You literally have to play out ffa like its supposed to. Its feels almost as terrible watching this as if its happening to yourself tbh. Normally I am the one who gets fucked like this but this is really cringe when the top players are also like little kids. When stuff likes this happens it truly makes me wish there would be more money in aoe4 and more players so it would be more professional.
