- Hercules Guitar Rack. It holds 5 Guitars and it expandable up to 10 Guitars when you purchase their expanders. This Rack is also safe for Nitro Cellulose Finished Guitars! Shockingly it also works with a bunch of Pointy Guitars!!

If you have 5 electrics, get the smaller 523B model which is for 3 guitars but expands to up to 6 electrics.
The only thing is... it would cost you more money to get the smaller model and then buy 2 expansions. $115 for the 525B and $93 for the 523B and then $24 for 2 Expansions. It's a great space saver, though. that's for sure. Cheers -Ryan

I've used Hercules for years. When I used to have 9 Gibson's it was a necessity!! No issues with Nitro. Cheers -Ryan

Sorry for the late response. I have 3 of these set up and each are sitting about 3 inches away from the wall. I have explorers, V's, a Xiphos, Les Pauls, Strats, and Paul Reed Smiths in them. They also have 2 different settings. Cheers -Ryan

Have to say I thought the gibson flying v wouldnt fit. I also think Hercules saying that the rack will take 10 guitars is optimistic. I think i would worry if there was anymore than 8 in the rack.
I thought the exact same thing... but You CAN actually fit 10 guitars in the rack. It’s all about spacing. Cheers -Ryan
I think Hercules is being cheap in how they market these. You shouldn’t need to by expanders adding additional costs to an already expensive rack. Just sell it as the max capacity or split the difference, include the yokes for that amount and let the buyer decide how many and what size guitars to put on. Selling it as holding five, but capable of holding x amount if you buy expanders is milking the customer for more money. I’m in the UK and there’s a company called Gravity that does exactly what I suggest and it’s a high quality stand and less money. Not sure if they are available in North America, though.
Looked into Gravity... their 3 Guitar Rack is the same price as Hercules' 5. Expandability is one of the best options available in a Rack and is one of the main reasons most people buy them. Also the Gravity Rack looks shite and has mixed reviews from what I've read. Cheers -Ryan
Gravity say theirs is not Nitro safe
They are not nitro safe. Over time itll warp or stain ur finish esp if its a light color
That’s Weird. I’ve been using Hercules Racks/Stands/Mounts for over 15 years with Nitro Finished Guitars. The main reason for my use of them is that they are Nitro Safe. I must have been lucky with all of mine. Sucks if you’ve had issues. Cheers -Ryan
