- Both are the same price! One is Locking/Hanging and one holds more guitars and is expandable. I test out some Pointy Guitars, show the strengths of both and show some of the downsides of both.

Some King V’s stick out a bit. Basically a Mustaine V might touch the ground from time to time or it will sit a little weird. Cheers -Ryan

2021 Update, they do make a 6 guitar version of the hanging stand, which is barely $120.
i'm thinking of getting the stand because it's footprint is b arely larger than my 1 guitar stand now and then I can hang all 3 my guitars in there.
Hi, Can you fit a Strandberg on these Hercules Racks?
There's a 6 guitar version of the vertical stand, a lot cheaper and smaller footprint than buying two - Hercules GS526B
This and the Sperzel videos were good but one suggestion......They are kinda dark ....You should try to get some more lights so we can see more details......
I have quite a few lights... the issue isn't necessarily lighting. The issue is in the editing. I'm partially colour blind so I compensate for certain colours and I always make things darker. I'm also stubborn and like the way it looks to me hahaha Cheers -Ryan

how is it on nitro finishes on the headstock and back??
I have 25 Gibsons and 3 Fenders with Nitro Finish. They all rest in Hercules Racks or Wall Mounts. Never head any issues. But as always sometimes manufacturers change their Nitro Process and there is always the potential with any rack or mount. But I’ve never had any issues. Cheers -Ryan
I have a Thunderbird bass, did the rack able to handle it?
I have a Gibson Firebird… works fine for that. Granted you have to move it another inch away from the wall. Cheers -Ryan
@@Crypticmaskguitar correct me if I'm wrong but Thunderbird have a larger body. But thank you for your information. I've got 5 guitars & basses (2 guitars and 3 basses) so I might buy GS523B (3-6 guitars)
They definitely do have a bigger body, but the issue isn’t the body fitting inside the rack. It’s that the shape offsets the way that the neck sits… so you have to pull it back from the wall a little. I know someone who uses the same rack with 3 Thunderbirds. So it’s not an issue. Cheers -Ryan

i just dont like the stand because sure if you bump it with guitar thats on side with leg directly under it no it wont fall but if you bump in on side with no leg and someone has a guitar out of the 3 already and gets bumped into it will fall i knw personal experiance. with multi guitar rack sure its a bigger footprint but much safer
What I dislike about Hercules is their marketing of the guitar racks and milking the consumer for more money. These are already quite expensive racks. They market them as holding x amount of guitars, but can hold two more if you buy extra yokes for it. Just sell the damn thing as the max x capacity and include extra yokes. This is what Gravity stands do and for less money, take up a little less space and look nicer and not as utilitarian as the Hercules. Downside is they need to be assembled initially, minor inconvenience you only do once.
I can fit 11 Guitars in one Hercules Rack Comfortably, 10 if there are a few with Floyds. Never really saw any of their Marketing, other than the packaging. I'll check out Gravity Stands, though. Cheers -Ryan
the stand = sticky grip that breaks after a few years (it they did not change the formula)

So it will hold my LTD Arrow? Its sad That this company doesn't advertise what guitars it can hold id just pathetic... that's one of the first things i would say about it... "fits these shapes"
I believe the reason they don’t advertise each guitar it can hold is the same reason other companies don’t: they have multiple solutions that you can purchase. I had Rhoads, king Vs, bich, Kelly, Firebird, Vs, explorers, and the Ibanez Xiphos… they all worked perfectly fine. One of my King Vs was a little bigger and needed to be angled a certain way but that was it. As far as an arrow… never really had much interest in buying one so I can’t tell you. But they have racks, stands, hangers, etc… so if one doesn’t work, they have other options. Cheers -Ryan

Depends on the difference in the length of the wing/fin. The king V that had an issue was the LTD DV8-R. A little bigger than Jackson. Cheers -Ryan
Wasn’t the biggest fan of the neck on the Xiphos… a little too thin for my liking. The Rhoads 7 was a much nicer neck, but like a lot of Jackson’s, the thicker strings felt and sounded a little dull. But of course it’s all personal preference. Cheers -Ryan
