The murder of Andrés Escobar 1994 was i believe the most shocking and devastating world cup moment. Nobody should lose their life because of a game of football.

02 was my world cup. That Brazil team is the best I've ever seen. Ireland were fantastic in that tournament. Duff and Keane looked like world beaters and they went out to Spain after extra time with guys like Matt Holland, Lee Carsley, Jason McAteer and Mark Kennedy in midfield. With Keane running the show they might have pulled that off.

with all the bad thing Suarez did in his career I don't know why everyone thinks that handball was disgusting. it would have been cheating if no penalty was given. Foul was given and Gyan missed it, not Suarez fault. He did what all players would have done in that situation, payed the right price as he has been sent off and gave the opponents a chance to win.

I equate it to a tactical foul. He took the consequences for a chance of denying a goal. Think Marcos Llorente's tackle on Morata in the Spanish Super Cup. Denied a clear goalscoring opportunity

Anyway,he was in Senegal and he talked to a witch doctor. HE told him that his father got paid to throw a curse on Ronaldo in 98 by someone from France . And it worked but the french somehow didn't honor the deal(not enough money or something). So,they cursed them a few years later and Senegal beat France in Korea and Japan 2002 in the group stage and they didn't make it out of the group and the holders. We all know what Ronaldo and Co. did. I found it interesting so i thought i share.
