As always Graeme Souness at his best. He played as a true honest fighter for his love of football and winning which is the difference in his time and today’s players who only love the money. Today’s players cry at a torn eyelash and wouldn’t last 5 minutes against the players of the past like Graeme. Apart from the football he is such a genuine man. Keep it coming Graeme and come and manage the England team. Thanks for all the fabulous memories both on and off the field.

I was a kid in the 70s and like all my mates could be seen walking around with a fistful of Panini cards and your moustachioed Face was always one that I remember. And all the great achievements of the Liverpool sides of that era, going into the early 80s.

I watched many games when he was manager and despite the sun story, always supported him. He did inherit an ageing team though contrary to what he said, the team won the league in 1990 and he joined April 1991, and at the time were challenging for the league. He always admitted he made too many changes but people do forget he did also bring through some very good young players. A legend in every sense!

We all had this wrong image of him as a bit anti Irish because he was ex rangers n proud of it.....but he was such an amazing pundit....very fair, frank and so insightful...that he quickly won the hearts of the nation... He also was amazed with what he could get away with saying on Irish TV which was more free flowing than in the beeb or itv.
I also remember him as the only pundit to question the trappatoni appointment for Ireland. Dunphy as usual jumped on the bandwagon much later.

So glad I've found this channel. I've been binge watching over the last week or so and this was another great interview. Souness for me, along with Keane has been one of the most enjoyable pundits to watch over the last 10 years or so. Says it how it is.

Sourness was one of the 2 best Liverpool CMs they ever had along with Stevie. I like him and respect the work he’s doing with that charity.

Another great episode; keep them coming, Simon. Got me at the end when Graeme was talking about the work of the charity, DEBRA, whom I’d not previously heard of. I followed this up by visiting their website and making a donation.

As a Celtic always disliked Sounness for obvious reasons but you cant help but respect the man. Love his views on modern day football and his no nonsense approach.
