Perfect podcast host is Simon because he doesn't shy away from the difficult questions. Good to see his compassionate side and I'm looking forward to seeing many more episodes!
As always Graeme Souness at his best. He played as a true honest fighter for his love of football and winning which is the difference in his time and today’s players who only love the money. Today’s players cry at a torn eyelash and wouldn’t last 5 minutes against the players of the past like Graeme. Apart from the football he is such a genuine man. Keep it coming Graeme and come and manage the England team. Thanks for all the fabulous memories both on and off the field.
Something about Souness that’s really engaging. When he speaks I want to listen, as if you know he’s not just going to repeat some over used trope and he’ll give you proper insight

I love the story from one of his Scotland teammates who was having a stinker, and getting grief from the fans, and Souness dragged this player through the game. All his ex teammates say he was a proper leader.
As a Rangers fan I could be called biased however the thing about Souness is, he’s consistent, he has thought about his ideas and opinions and you know where you stand with him. His recent work with that little girl Isla and the charity overall is commendable. Souness could take the hardest of tackles but that little girl breaks him in two every time he talks to her. Great interview, great man.

Fascinating, well done to you, Simon and Graeme.👏 However, it was way too short. For my liking. Simon, maybe you could schedule another episode with Graeme at some point? He has a very storied career. More details on his playing days and those that played alongside him. And also more information about his challenges as a manager, would be interesting and justified. Graeme, if you happen to read these comments, I urge you to try and stay in football media. I’ve always found you interesting and value your opinions. Please don’t disappear!
