Is this guy supposed to be a boxing expert or something? It's very typical to see that boxing experts have absolutely no idea what they're talking about. It's funny, but it's always the case. There is no such thing as a "boxing expert." A boxing expert is literally just another dude with an opinion.

Ali wasn't champion for longer because his era was MORE DIFFICULT. Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier, George Foreman... these guys would KILL Louis. Even Ken Norton, Ron Lyle, and Earnie Shavers would KILL Louis. Ali is the TRUE GOAT. And that's not just 13:00 "in their respective era." Ali literally achieved more IN HIS OWN ERA. Ali went through murderer's row. Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier, George Foreman, Ron Lyle, Earnie Shavers, Jerry Quarry. You cannot even get close to being champion if you fought any of these guys. Why? Because if you beat one, you would lose to another. This was straight up one of the most competitive eras ever. Louis' resume is NOWHERE CLOSE. Come back 100 years to my comment when the Louis bias has been washed out. Anyone who puts Louis over Ali is biased and not concerned with actual legacy. Ali literally revolutionized boxing because of how skilled he was. And I'm talking resume, legacy, and skills alone. Ali was far ahead of his time. Louis was not.

Whoever made this list is absolutely ridiculous. How can you have Larry at #10? Ken Norton was the Joe Frazier of his era. Earnie Shavers was the George Foreman of his era (George was young, but he stopped fighting). Frazier and Norton are the only guys to beat Ali. And when Ali asked who was the hardest puncher, he did not say George Forman. He said Earnie Shavers. "I didn't think he was as good as he was." If it wasn't for Holmes, Norton would've been champ. If it wasn't for Holmes, Earnie Shavers would've been champ. If it wasn't for Holmes, Gerry Cooney would've been champ.

If you put Sonny Liston in your top 10, your top 10 is wrong. Aside from the Klitchschkos, Sonny Liston had one of the weakest eras ever. The biggest name Liston beat was Floyd Patterson and Patterson was a mediocre champ. Patterson and Inegamur Johansson were the good fighters of their era, with Liston being very good and Ali being great. The rest were bums.

Larry Holmes is definitely NOT #10. He's higher than that.

Marciano would not even beat Floyd Patterson. He never faced a puncher like Ingmar Johansson and Sonny Liston was more than 25 ponds heavier (they got weight classes in Boxing for a reason you know?) Rocky could have fought all three had he wanted to but he didn't. He was still in his 30s from 1958 through 1963. And many did not know that when Johannsson beat Patterson Marciano went into training to bring the title back to the US. The fact is he could not get back in shape even though he was only 36 years old.
