Is it just me who have realized that these cicadas that come on every 17 years are very stupid?
never lived near them myself, but i also never bothered studying insects at all much less comparing different groups of one type like the 17 yr cicadas....so no i haven't.
As of May 19, there hasn't been much activity, and only a few additional exuviae were found this morning. There's still no indication of fully developed adult cicadas.
