- This is the upcoming royalenfield Himalayan 450 based Guerilla 450 coming to compete with the latest Triumph Speed 400.
It has the same liquid cooled 450cc engine that used in upcoming himalayan 450.

With a bench seat, and no uncomfortable cut out for the knees on the tank, this may be the one for me. If it’s anywhere near the projected 40 hp and under 400 pounds, I’m going to want one.

I’m not totally sure about that..
Most - if not all - Triumph buyers look at Triumph as an aspirational brand. So, this Brand value continues to have a lot of weightage in their decision (apart from exceptional pricing, performance and features).
I doubt if these ‘brand value aware’ customers get lured by offerings from RE irrespective of whatever magic RE pulls out.
Not really sure. Still gonna be heavy af. If Triumph launches Tiger 400 its game over for RE Himmies. Already xpulse and 390 adv is bleeding the himmas dry
Tiny companies like Triumph, have absolutely no chance of even affecting RE sales. They're a small player in comparison.

If Royal Enfield want to take on Triumph in the 400-450cc category, this will do the job nicely! I would beware of getting sucked into that sort of brand war, however, as the development costs of bringing out higher spec bikes so frequently WILL force product costs to exceed the price-point which Royal Enfield has set as it's USP!
Keep the cheap, simple and RELIABLE mantra as your brand identity, and the market will have HUGE difficulty in keeping up! (they just cannot change business culture as quickly!)

Interesting shape. I like the led lights and turn signals. Good aluminum alloy wheels. The gearbox looks huge and low. I like the thin exhaust close to the rear wheel, for better mass distribution, better aesthetics and the use of hard cases. I don't like 90° bent mirrors. Better a greater angle that gives momentum upwards. Possibly a different shape to the simple circle, out of tune with the line of the bike. The tank has a line that prevents the correct movement of the knees when riding while seated, but above all when standing.

That engine looks much bigger in ur rendering. In reality this 450cc single looks like a 100cc engine. Cant even match the size of a 350cc engine.

Himalayan fuel injection stoppedworking suddenly inbetween a 100 km tour, it was a sunday as well, its just ruin our entire day, we called for the RE road side assistance service but nothing worked, finally we had to tow it on a local pickup van. It was a horrible experience. I never will recommend RE vehicle to anyone, reliability of RE is a big question. Do not buy vehicle over any emotion, or just for its look.
