I used to play Vanu on a server, but the "balance" was that 70% of the server was in one faction, and 20% was in the other, and 10% were vanu.
This is why they introduced the NSO faction, a robot faction to fill out missing ranks.
@Spelarkivet Yeah but what if said players don't want to log in NSO? They log in their regular accts and then you have overpop in one faction.

I haven't played for years, and the orbital strikes are really impressive each time. When it starts to trigger, people just panic and run away as far as they can to save themselves. Funny thing is that it's both the attackers and defenders who get hit... so total panic. 😀
Planetside 2 is an amazing game but the dev studio don't realise the gold mine they are sitting on.
Orbitals can be survived (as long as your not close to the center) by having ANYING directly over your head. An overhang, part of a rock, or anything that isn’t an active object.

Gadzooks I haven't logged into ps2 in over a year. Glad to see its still hopping. What would be the best server and time US eastern to hop on for maximum action?

5pm plus on EU Miller one continent will usually be populated with a queue, same for US Emerald.

If you're just out of range of the orbital strike you will see people and vehicles just flying all over the place. It's really funny.
