I wish they had made a neutral quest that they gave for free, like they had C'thun. I think blizzard was most generous during WotG, considering how many more free packs they gave. EDIT: I posted this before watching today's other video, probably should've posted it on that one since Kripp shares how he feels about it.
Dank Sloth some cthun cards are ok without the cthun effect. but there are also plenty of cards that are only viable in certain decks. What do you do if you don't have all the other cards needed for that deck?
What do you mean? All the cards needed for the quests can also be played without the quest. And they're not as bad as Cthun related cards without Cthun which are basically just bad vanilla minions without him.
I meant in the general game. What reason would a regular paladin have to play a card like vilefin inquisitor? There are a lot of niche cards in the game, I don't see why C'thun would be any different. During WotG, they also gave more cards packs.
krip you the real mvp for playing this. Priest is my favorite class and it crushed me to see dragon priest die so hard, but i had faith in this quest and ways to play it, ive gone an elemental route and a kazakus route with raza, and even hybrid dragon. I think im just trying to say im glad you showed my favorite class (the one talked down on so much for this expansion) some love
so, fun trick. in preist put two copies of mindsteal in your deck, In the moligan stage if you think that you may be facing a matchup with a classes that's gonna use the quest, moligan for the mindsteals, when they earn the quest manytimes they don't have the chance to play the reward, thats when you have a chance to mindsteal there reward for maximum greed
It works well against the shaman, hunter, and warloc quests because shaman and hunter are going to be more agro based and thus typicaly have less cards in their hands, while warloc is going to discard most of their hand, the less cards beside the quest reward the higher chance you steal it
zack bryant im pretty sure most people have thought of this. It's not even that good because it's super unreliable and relies on you opponent not playing their quest reward and also having a small hand. It might work well against the hunter quest, but that deck already sucks so your not really getting anything from it
Thanks for showing this off! I just used your list as the basis for a deck (Lyra instead of Umbra, Free From Amber instead of the Drakes, and no Bloodmage with a few other tweaks to fit my collection a bit better). My first match was vs. a Warlock - and won an absolutely absurd victory that ended in Jaraxxus getting fatigued to death. It was glorious and utterly ridiculous.
Dasc Except for the fact that almost every elemental look the same as the others but with different colours. I saw the crystalline oracle in his hand and, even when I didn't know it was an elemental, I thought it was
Well, then you agree that every elemental looks the same. Even if there are some that aren't elementals, keeping in mind Crystalline Oracle looks like every other elemental, we should move our mouse to our little project of elemental and check if he's one or not, shouldn't we? I've got this high horse because I won it, if you want one, go buy it, or ask Kripp, maybe he'll be happy that you are deffending him and he'll give you one
My best deck so far has been c'thun priest. with 2 legendaries. C'thun and twin emps. Bare in mind I own ALL basic set legendaries and mos others. I knew c'thun would do well. Loving un'goro.
0:32 "I know a lot of the other streamers and youtubers talked down priest a lot" Trump with the 0/5 loss against Amaz ending with quest priest felt good.
this deck looks fun! i made a zoo deck for ungoro and its been working well against all the dumb stuff right now. 2 argent squire 2 flame imp 2 malchezaar's imp 2 possessed villager 2 soulfire 2 voidwalker 1 acidic swamp ooze 2 dire wolf alpha 1 golakka crawler 2 knife juggler 2 ravasaur runt 2 darkshire councilman 2 devilsaur egg 2 defender of argus 2 ravenous pterrordax 2 doomgaurd
This deck is fun judging by my first (and only so far) game with it. I didn't even have the Spiritsinger Umbra legendary and I had to craft the quest. I'm thankful Kripp put it in a video, but this looks like a very close copy of the "Awakenings" pre-built deck but with dragons put in. I'm also troubled by how he gets by without any SW pain or deaths and no Aoe except for the 8 mana dragon.
The most fun deck I've played so far is exodia mage. The combo is 2x sorcerers apprentice 2x magma mirror(to make 4 SA) then u play the mage quest reward and go into your next turn right after that, then you play Archmage Antonidas with any spell you have in hand and there ya go: infinite fire balls.
Sorry everyone, I've been really busy with things lately and haven't had much time to do this. However Un'Goro is out and I felt I needed to return, so here you go! 0:04 - [Talkerino] 1:40 - no need to rush 12:05 - thanks for your deck
I just realized that if Cruel Dinomancer is the only card you've discarded it essentially becomes a 5/5 Dreadsteed because it can only summon itself and then the second one summons a third and etc.
I found this really cool and fun priest deck that had n'zoth and quest but it added in C'thun ,his buff card and 2 youthful brewmaster. Most people rage quit when I kept resetting my HP to 40 but if failed alot against hunter, shammy and druid :(
I think Kripp still doesn't understand how Glimmerroot works. Or did he just... Know that he didn't want Thing so he deliberately chose getting nothing over getting something? If you've seen one of the three cards played, it means that is the ONLY card of the three that's in their deck, so Devolve isn't in the guy's deck at all.
It shows only one card, and it says "guess which one your opponent put in their deck". It was obvious that the opponent had put at least one thing from below in his deck since he played it
Well crap, didn't want to craft more cards already but, this looks like a lot of fun. Dragon and Djinni priest were my favorite decks (that I actually won with) last exp...
This was the first kind of deck I built from the dust I got, did not have a lot of success but I hope priest (or control in general) prevails. But it won't because Jades lmao
you could combine your deck witth some return to your hand cards because if barnes summones a great battlecry minion(best case of course nzoth) you can decide if you want it or u gain control of an enemy minion "for one turn" but then get it on your hand. maybe its not so good but it would be fun to try (i just dont have the right cards for a value deck no nzoth and no karazan cards)
Seems to be pretty good, but I've heard that SMOrc-ing them down with most decks ruins them, and appearently dirty-ratting their bounce cards slows them down too much for them to easily win
it's the most common deck archetype I've seen because it's super easy for them to get. fortunately even when they get the reward at turn 5 there's still a solid chance of you winning
I went 12-0 with Priest in Arena. They have some amazing value cards and the ability to discover any value card in the deck. Makes it much stronger then it seems.
Wish these videos were longer, could watch these for hours... ....especially since I only opened Ozruk and the Druid quest and can't play any of the cool quest decks
Is this deck good only compared to the other Un'Goro decks or low rank decks in general? I was going to make a priest quest deck and this one's really intriguing me.
Watching this after messing around with my own decks and when I opened my 50 pre-purchase packs, I got ZERO Class Quests, which is kinda annoying but I had more than enough dust to get things rolling and so I picked what is usually one of my top 3 fac Classes...Priest, for making a Class Quest for and ooooh man has it been a knockout deck for me. Aside from some super aggro cards where I didnt have or draw my board clearing spells or Shadow Words to slow them enough, it's been highly successful. My favorite aspect of my deck is using Blood of the Ancient One >:D Literally every game where I can maintain board I can successfully get my quest completed AND get the Bloods out to get that meaty and juicy 30/30. Needless to say it is a deck that is slower and will DEF piss people off xD Priest-A-Reno HO!
Right after watching this video, I created this deck and just won with it - It's actually a really strong priest deck but shame midrange hunter and quest rogue are still dominating...
So don't laugh, but I rolled a Purify Priest deck today for the lulz and it turned out to be great. 10/2 above rank 9. The Humongous Plant thing is great. It's kind of a stall with taunts and combo kill with Inner Fire all in one deck that shits on everything unless it draws really poorly. Give it a try sometime.
Blizzard isn't being stupid: they're being intelligently and exorbitantly greedy. Start slow, make your customer base commit to the game by spending some cash every expansion, then turn around gouge the living shit out of them when they're already invested. The meta requires at least one essential legendary for most classes for any of them to even compete in standard, not to mention all the other legendaries and epics required. Question is: When they start losing revenue will they try to lull us into a false sense of relief and keep focusing on their whales that dump thousands of dollars every expansion, or backpedal and actually focus on their entire customer base?
That's too generous even from most pro player pov. Basically give half legends from an expansion. Not that i would complain but no company ever would do something like that. Fair would have been pick a free quest. Blizz appears generous, many would pick a weak quest, 1/9 is...a step. It would have been a perfect pr stunt but blizz employee master race know best.
i do get it that game is "f2p" but its logical that they want money for work, and ppl that play but dont pay a single penny is just leechers, and they still whine and ask for free legendary. its kinda stupid.
lol first deck i theory crafted was something like this, although i only have 3 legendaries and non could supplement what i like to call "DragonQuest Hunter"
BT is there for deathrattle and card draw. Spell damage rarely comes up. Deck already runs loot haorders, too, so just more things that generate value. I like the elise shadow visions combo, myself. Ysera can't really be replaced, since she is so unique. Look for any available dragons or super value late game threats.
Some cards you could try for Ysera are: Mind Control, Free from Amber, Elise, Cairne, Onyxia. Onyxia is the most direct replacement since it is a big threat and a dragon activator. For Bloodmage you could try: Gluttonous Ooze, Curious glimmerstone, Mirage Caller, Twilight Summoner, Infested Touren, Thoughtsteal. There's really no direct replacement since we cannot run a third loot hoarder.
19:20
"I don't have any elementals left" - Kripp with 1 mana elemental in hand
thought the same...
Came down here for this comment..
Rares then literally tries to play it at the end of the video
Thank you. You saved me the time of making that comment.
I just looked in the comments because I wondered if anyone had noticed that. ONLY because of that.
At 19:21 you do have an elemental dud. It's your one drop that you just wanted to play after the hex.
I wish they had made a neutral quest that they gave for free, like they had C'thun. I think blizzard was most generous during WotG, considering how many more free packs they gave.
EDIT: I posted this before watching today's other video, probably should've posted it on that one since Kripp shares how he feels about it.
Definitely it's real hard F2P to enjoy the expansion.
No, they did it cause people would've complained if they opened Cthun support cards but no Cthun.

4:50 Whaaaaa!! Goodbye Jaraxxus!!.......YOU FACE JARAXXUS!!!!!!
"goodbye jaraxxus"
a second later
"You face Jaraxxus, Eredar Lord of the Burning Legion!"

4:52 "Good bye Jaraxxus!", 4:57 "You face Jaraxxus" xD
"i dont have any elementals left" then proceeds to hower over crystaline oracle -.-
-Goodbye Jaraxuss,
-you face jaraxuss, Eredar lord of the burning legion!!!
-Oh!!
4:50 *Jaraxxus gets discarded*
Kripp: ooooh, goodbye Jaraxxus!
*Mere seconds later Jaraxxus appears on the board*
"GUESS AGAIN, MORTAL!"
so, fun trick. in preist put two copies of mindsteal in your deck, In the moligan stage if you think that you may be facing a matchup with a classes that's gonna use the quest, moligan for the mindsteals, when they earn the quest manytimes they don't have the chance to play the reward, thats when you have a chance to mindsteal there reward for maximum greed
It works well against the shaman, hunter, and warloc quests because shaman and hunter are going to be more agro based and thus typicaly have less cards in their hands, while warloc is going to discard most of their hand, the less cards beside the quest reward the higher chance you steal it

I never said its good, I said it was the maximum greed play :P, and its a real good feeling when it dose work
Mind Vision?
Nope, 'mindsteal'. You need to moligan for your mindsteals, especially against warloc!
"Goodbye Jaraxxus."
Jaraxxus returns as a minion 1 second later...
Hello Jaraxxus.
"Goodbye, Jaraxxus!"
"YOU FACE JARAXXUS, EREDAR LORD OF THE BURNING LEGION!"
19:18 "I don't have any elemental's left" theres a fucking crystalline oracle in your hand kripp jesus
The expansion is 1-day old, it's hard to know all those little detials this early in, it also didn't really matter in his situation :)
I was screaming at my monitor, "It's right there Kripp, are you fucking blind?!"
Dasc Except for the fact that almost every elemental look the same as the others but with different colours. I saw the crystalline oracle in his hand and, even when I didn't know it was an elemental, I thought it was
alexptm29 Wow!!, can I get your autograph? :)
Well, then you agree that every elemental looks the same. Even if there are some that aren't elementals, keeping in mind Crystalline Oracle looks like every other elemental, we should move our mouse to our little project of elemental and check if he's one or not, shouldn't we?

Kriip: "Goodbye Jaraxxus. Hello Jaraxxus"
Kripp 'Mmmhh' Tyrande: 'Mmmhhh'
Kripp: "I don't have elementals in my hand"
4:50 Kripp: "Goodbye Jaraxxus!", a few seconds later, me: "Hello Jaraxxus!".
1:40

Kripp has become Arch-Thief Rafaam. "I like your deck, I think I'll use it."
5:00 goodbye jaraxxus! "YOU FACE JARAXXUS"
" Wheww, goodbye Jaraxxus."
Couple seconds later
" YOU FACE JARAXXUS."
The early owl gets the silence!
19:22 I have no elementals left he says, with another elemental in his hand...
"I don't have any more Elementals," he said ignoring the 1-drop in his hand that he attempted to play after Hex.
Basically...
Umbra = Braan Bronzeshield
Amara = Reno Jackson
I know which class I'll now be crafting.... thx Kripp :)
The knowledge of 'which of the duplicates tilts harder' is legit strategy.
"Goodbye Jaraxxus!"
Hello, Jaraxxus.
No
are you gonna only write no your lifetime(yes I know that this question is cheat :D)

HasTheMemerinoGoneTooFarerinoKripperino I think it has
I like the look of Whats-yours-is-mine Priest. Seems like a very varied play style.
silver hand recruit paladin is crushing wild ladder right now - so oppressive now it's awesome
0:32 "I know a lot of the other streamers and youtubers talked down priest a lot"
Trump with the 0/5 loss against Amaz ending with quest priest felt good.
Priest quest is gonna be the new Reno. Hopefully, at least.
I got 100% confirmed leaks for a Reno Jackson reprint next expansion! 100% legit! No scam! Totally real!

"This is probably much more tilting. Let's do this."
That part in the end made me laugh.
this deck looks fun! i made a zoo deck for ungoro and its been working well against all the dumb stuff right now.
2 argent squire
2 flame imp
2 malchezaar's imp
2 possessed villager
2 soulfire
2 voidwalker
1 acidic swamp ooze
2 dire wolf alpha
1 golakka crawler
2 knife juggler
2 ravasaur runt
2 darkshire councilman
2 devilsaur egg
2 defender of argus
2 ravenous pterrordax
2 doomgaurd
do you draw the quests every first turn ?
Quests are always in your opening hand ;)
You always get it in your opening hand unless you decide to mulligan it away.
I completed a quest for you! But... I don't like quests or anything... Baka!
of the kripperinos i lovehate this one the most
Tsunderino Kripperino What the actual fuck is going on with these profiles
Guess the next one will be Yanderino Kripperino
Yanderino Kripperino Jesus Christ :D
this kripperino was a mistake
I feel like Kripp should have used Twisting Nether at 9:50 when he literally had no minions and his opponent had a full board.
19:21 You had an Elemental though, in the Crystaline Oracle.
Why is bloodmage thalnos in this deck? Just for Draw?
Deathrattle minnion, draw, opponents board clears and removals
You will probably steal 75% of their deck list before the game is over so their board clears aren't a far fetched idea
Wait, around 17:00 ... Didn't he mean to try and get Devolve? It very much looked like he clicked Thing from Below.
Tried this deck with cairne bloodhoof turns out, its really good with barnes and mirage caller.
I don't have any elementals left, except for the 1 drop in my hand of course. 19:19
I appreciate that you started rendering your videos in 60 fps Kripp, but you still record the game and facecam in 50 fps, I can see it
The most fun deck I've played so far is exodia mage. The combo is 2x sorcerers apprentice 2x magma mirror(to make 4 SA) then u play the mage quest reward and go into your next turn right after that, then you play Archmage Antonidas with any spell you have in hand and there ya go: infinite fire balls.
Those "5/25 taunts" poly morph fairly nicely also.
Sorry everyone, I've been really busy with things lately and haven't had much time to do this. However Un'Goro is out and I felt I needed to return, so here you go!
0:04 - [Talkerino]
1:40 - no need to rush
12:05 - thanks for your deck
18:20 still the right play to try and pull a 5/5 taunt over a card your not going to use tho?
"I don't have any more elementals left" *plays elemental as video is ending*
"I don't have any more elementals." Holds Crystalline Oracle in hand.
I just realized that if Cruel Dinomancer is the only card you've discarded it essentially becomes a 5/5 Dreadsteed because it can only summon itself and then the second one summons a third and etc.
Digging Priest. My quest list uses the Kazakus/Raza package slotting in Free From Amber, Elise, madness steal effects, and the deathrattle
Dragons: [x]
Quest: [x]
N'zoth: [x]
Thaaaaaat's right! It's a kripp deck!
at the end where kripp says he has no more elementals so he grabs the 2nd hex, i was like staring at the crystalline oracle
This deck is still good today 👍 just went from stuck at rank 10 down to rank 3 in 1 hour with this deck 👍
"I don't have any elementals left -> has crystalin elementalerino kripperino. FeelsBadMan
I think it worth noting that I just out-Jaded a Jade druid with this deck. Seems legit.
19:26 you had crystalline oracle in your hand, an elemental....
Kripp: Goodbye Jaraxus
Jaraxus: I'm back bitch
I found this really cool and fun priest deck that had n'zoth and quest but it added in C'thun ,his buff card and 2 youthful brewmaster. Most people rage quit when I kept resetting my HP to 40 but if failed alot against hunter, shammy and druid :(
"I have no Elementals left." While holding a Crystaline Oracle
I think Kripp still doesn't understand how Glimmerroot works. Or did he just... Know that he didn't want Thing so he deliberately chose getting nothing over getting something? If you've seen one of the three cards played, it means that is the ONLY card of the three that's in their deck, so Devolve isn't in the guy's deck at all.
The obvious answer was worthless, so it was correct to take the chance that the opponent just wasn't running a 2nd thing.
Chat did correct him. He did not know only one card is real. It is in the video for crying out loud.
It shows only one card, and it says "guess which one your opponent put in their deck". It was obvious that the opponent had put at least one thing from below in his deck since he played it
For Kripp, Thing From Below would cost 5 mana. Use your brain before behaving all cheeky.
It would cost 6, he didn't summon any totems, and the base cost is 6.
4:50
"Goodbye Jaraxxus" *2 sec later* "Oh i see ..."
Well crap, didn't want to craft more cards already but, this looks like a lot of fun. Dragon and Djinni priest were my favorite decks (that I actually won with) last exp...
Kripp likes value priest.
+haha good bye jaraxxus

instant karma :D
This was the first kind of deck I built from the dust I got, did not have a lot of success but I hope priest (or control in general) prevails. But it won't because Jades lmao
Know what's the best? Stealing Jaraxxus against a Warlock and then playing Amara.

My favorite UnGoro deck is Wild. Its Reno- Nzoth- Quest- Malchazaar- Majordomo Priest
19:20 You had one elemental in hand :D
"I dont have any elementals left" *plays crystalline oracle the very next turn*
I went 12-0 with Priest in Arena. They have some amazing value cards and the ability to discover any value card in the deck. Makes it much stronger then it seems.
Wish these videos were longer, could watch these for hours...

Good bye, Jaraxxus!

i tried a kasakus elemental deck was pretty awesome
Awaken the makers? More like AWAKEN, MY MASTERS!
Austin Williams IS THAT A MOTHERFUCKING JOJO REFERENCE!?!
It would be useless to reference anything else!
Fucking weebs
Is this deck good only compared to the other Un'Goro decks or low rank decks in general? I was going to make a priest quest deck and this one's really intriguing me.
greatest Priest deck for me is Purify Priest with the Humongous Razorleaves and Shadow Visions :D bless Noxious!
He meant, played an elemental last turn. the effect wasnt active. THAT TURN
I've been trying for the longest time to make a Discard Warlock deck work. Any tips now that the new expansion is out?

un goro puts the knife into the free 2 play players. quests should be given automatically to your collection
i think 3-4 random quests should be given out or something
Or maybe everyone gets a quest that when completed gives you a quest of your choice
Blizzard isn't being stupid: they're being intelligently and exorbitantly greedy.

I barely won with quest warrior against a quest priest, it was insane, he played like 6 of my execute, seems a fun deck if you build it properly.
lol first deck i theory crafted was something like this, although i only have 3 legendaries and non could supplement what i like to call "DragonQuest Hunter"
I like cairne in this deck personally. he's a lot of value and a death rattle and the trigger the death rattle effect is kind of borken
Kripp: hates reno but loves reno+10 health
Any replacement for Spiritsinger Umbra?
The shadow in the background looks like the Dota 2 Logo.
did only i see that someone of your friends open legendary at 14.49 :D
hey kripp i would like to build a deck like yours but i dont own bloodmage thalnos and ysera. Any replacements sugetions?
