"this is a terrible tutorial, i dont know why you are watching this" Babe because your videos give us life through this terrible times! plus you are crazy talented!
Oh my god, I hope this helps! Basically you HAVE to let the glue get tacky enough 🙌🏼 You know, the exact thing I didn’t do multiple times in this vid 😂
love the title!!! can someone give me advice... so i'm weird & don't like lashes across my eye because i have big lids & don't think it looks natural. i just want them in the outer corner... it's ultimately only like 20 individual lashes so i was thinking of just doing it myself but i don't have a lot of patience time or tolerance for glue. has anyone learned to do this/ find it easy or not really? & what brand? xxx
I've been doing individual lashes for years and they've never turned out this nice, cant wait to try this method. Also love her personality, she doesn't have that "forced happy for no reason" tone
The individuals always look so much better on me. They are more tedious and time consuming to apply but they blend so much better than the strips - which always look like they are falling off in the corners.
This is not a terrible tutorial at all!! I actually would like to thank you for having allowed us to witness your struggles. It is heart warming to know that even you, a seasoned makeup artist, a professional whose talent is so outstanding you work with Pat McGrath, also has the same issues I have with applying individuals. So thank you, because now I know it is normal to struggle with this, and it's just part of the process, whereas before I felt like I was the problem.
@@imakkkzx2865 they’re really nice! i used them for my sweet 16 and they’re a bit tedious but look really natural. just make sure you use enough glue or they fall off
I JUST did individual the other night with clear Kiss glue with aloe (the gorilla glue for lashes kinda stuff) and they lasted for days and looked so natural. I always have problems with the strips because I get the whole thing aligned nicely until one of the corners and i either have to trim them again, start over, or my eye waters until they come off, or I have a hard blob of gluey lashes from trying to stick the corner down while the strips are already on. I got the Ardell shorts. My lashes are long but sparse and this gave me the most natural and beautiful look. I didnt wear any liner and just a teeny bit of mascara to blend. My husband doesnt notice anything and he FINALLY did this time. He was being flirty with me and said I didnt need makeup cuz in so pretty (Ha!) When I told him he almost tf didnt believe me. Also, since I was curious I was careful about showering and wash ij mg my face, with that glue those Ardell's stayed on for 2 days and would have stayed more had I not pulled them off. That is the ultimate goal in my eyes, get that compliment on your natural beauty from the person who has been looking at your face forever AND watching you age. Fuckin GOALS. Thank you Alex. I adore you so much.
Lol i love this comment Do you take the mascara off in the evening? It would be kinda weird not to but I would be scared that the lashes would come off immediately
I re-use my individuals, yes it’s time consuming but for me it reduces waste. Also, I cut ALL my strip lashes into thirds or quarters before applying that’s how I discovered I could make my own “clusters” from invisible band strip lashes.
Hey so im new to any type of eyelashes here! I heard the individual ones were a Lil bit easier to apply, I tried just regular eyelashes a couple years ago and I could not get them on ! So I purchased some individuals, I got Ardlle ones, and on the box it says up to 2 week wear ,now does that mean, once I apply them I can wear them up for 2 weeks, like without taking them off?? Or does that mean I can KEEP them up for 2 weeks, like I can storage them, and if i wanna wear em a 5th day i can reapply them again, is that what they means when they say up to 2 weeks wear ??? Helpppp
I really appreciate how simply you break things down so we can understand. None of us were born doing these things and a lot of UA-camrs say now just apply lashes and you’re done whala!!!! YOU are AWESOME! So refreshing to see someone who's funny, smart and knows how to do a tutorial the RIGHT way - with knowledge and humor. Thank you. Fan forever!
So you can probably answer my question.. when you apply these lashes, how long do they last? Do they have to come off the same day you apply them? Do they come off when you’re removing your eye make up and washing your face?
I could get mine to stay on for about 5 days. I removed them with baby oil. I'd put mascara over them so they formed to my eye lashes. As long as you don't sleep on your eyes or mess with them, they stay on pretty good.
Love individual lashes SO much. I wear them under my real lashes so you don't see the glue. I don't wear much makeup and actually leave them on for a couple days so I can skip mascara all together and save time. Love them
The instructions on some state under and others state over. Next, how do you cover the glue globs? Finally, how and when to remove them? Great video, up close and personal. Lol 👍
It’s so cool to see your real skin up close and not some blurred, filtered version. Your videos are just the best! I learn so much. And you introduced me to my favorite undereye brush EVER...the MAC 240s. 🤗❤️

Yea, because I always think I’m just bad at everything, because nobody shows their mistakes and how to fix it.
