When I tight line my top lashes I always get transfer on my waterline too (even with waterproof pencils), do you think it looks best to clean that off or just leave it? Thank you for this tutorial, so helpful!!
That's what instantly came to mind...wouldn't the glue be sticking to the mascara not the actual eyelash hair therefore only lasting untill the mascara is washed off 🤔
in my experience if I have mascara on, then the individual lashes usually come off in the removal process. However if you can wear just individual lashes, then the Duo glue that I use will survive even a warm shower and I sometimes sleep with them on!

I found your channel just recently and I wanted to ask you the following: every time I apply a coat (or 2) of mascara, then apply the individual lashes, it is very hard to actually place them, whereas when applying them without any mascara beforehand, it seems easier to place them. Maybe I am applying too much mascara? Should the lashes be curled, a bit curled or ...? Thank you!

I have never worn false lashes, but have my stepdaughter’s upcoming wedding and will be doing my own makeup. I really need to practice doing this, it makes such a difference. I’m a little concerned about being sensitive to the adhesive in the glue. How do you remove them and can they be reused?

Would you suggest I do my entire eye-makeup, light mascara like you showed in your video then apply the lashes. OR should I apply the falsies first snd then do the rest of my eye makeup?! Your wisdom and advice would help me out so much 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I recommend to do your eye makeup first! You might be able to do the lashes first but they might get in the way of you trying to do the eye makeup and if you are blending it might accidentally make one of them come off. I’m sorry I know I’m not nikki but I’m a makeup artist as well and just from my experience I think it would be best to do them afterwards! 🫶🏼

If you are using the duo glue then be careful of crying or getting it wet as I’ve found it will become sticky again. It will “re-dry” but just something I’ve noticed. I can keep mine on for about a week if I’m careful with how I clean my face etc. I personally don’t use mascara with it it’s just lashes for me so I can’t say if that affects the longevity of them staying on x Also I’m not a make up artist I just do my own and this is my experience 😊
This technique she’s showing is used for 1 day wear, you wouldn’t leave them on for days! But there are some glues on Amazon that are just like the Falscara bond and seal from Kiss that will allow you to wear them for a few days if you take care of them!

if u put on mascara first the glue will not hold when u wash you face. I will never do that again.

I don’t think those are semi permanent. Same as stripe lash, you need to apply every time when you do your makeup.
They need to be removed after every makeup:)
