Leonard probably told that 'virgin until 26' story as a way of letting everyone know Tom wasn't a virgin anymore, and therefore wasn't suitable satanic sacrifice material. Real solid favor there.
This skit is so amazing. I think my favorite part is where Kevin just blurts out "what the HELL is wrong with you?!" I mean, seriously, it's the perfect reaction that's on all our minds. Also, for Dave, sometimes the funniest thing to do is absolutely nothing at all. :D
I like the ones where their role is almost reversed too. The sociopath who keeps ghosting the friend played by Dave. I can’t remember what it’s called though.
Every Dave and Kevin sketch is about having an alcoholic father in one way or another. That they aren't repetitious is a testament to the unpredictable neverending nightmare of alcoholic fathers.
I have three things to point out: 1 Dave Foley is awesome (and my favorite Kid in The Hall) 2 Dave Foley only owns One suit 3 This is hilarious and someone should do it in real life!
@@jeffreyval9665 apparently some people think their comedy is weird. That’s part of why I like them. The fact that I can’t always predict where a sketch is going and yet it’s weird and funny as hell anyway.
I've been thinking about this sketch since last week, I just keep picturing Dave Foley smiling in my head. He's so funny, lol! Just the way he smiles, but I love this especially, "Why did you tell him I said that? I never said that! What the hell is wrong with you?" 1:09
Alan watts "It can be very difficult sometimes to tell when someone who is awoke is acting as a devil or an angel " most of all to someone unwoke .I keep looking back and playing and replaying everything back and as new information added and at times mis understood where people were coming from and what was going on .it's so complex.
Heh... Dave and Kevin -- Dave, always good at playing the guys who are assholes to you for no particular reason. Kevin, the specialist at playing nerdy nice guys and utter sociopaths.
@steelydan93 Definitely. He does the face in one of The Chicken lady sketches too. Kevin Mcdonald's high pitch "What Th' hell is wrong with you?!" is great as well.
This is exactly like something I used to do to my friends in high school. When they’d come over to say hi, I’d just look at them and let them keep talking. It became unsettling to them and their emotions would gradually change and they would grow more and more upset. I called this freak out tactic “The Fiber-optic Chia Pet of Emotion”. You’d think they’d catch on eventually and it would stop being entertaining, but nope.
David Brawner Kevin could work well with anyone as could dave they were all geniuses way ahead of their time if this show came put 10 years later than it did probably would of been huge!
@LuckyPagoda I never even heard of that! Amazing! I read some info on Wikipedia and realized that a couple of my favorite characters had this ability like Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen and Paul Atreides from Dune. Who knew that it was an older concept? Not me :)
It takes a special kind of comic genius to be able to stand still, say nothing, smile, and be the funniest thing in the scene.
@qzniel I dunno. At no point, did he say "something" or "though".
I love how he just stares at him, Dave is a complete psycho in this skit
Dave is a complete psycho in half his skits.
@@e.keough2975 "The difficult thing about being a mass murderer..."
MLFreese
Lol best line ever.
“It’s not the murder so much as the mass
-the sheer volume of killing...”
Dave should've been Batman.
Was asked but creeped Mr. Nolan out.
Yknow what? He'd have made an excellent Riddler.

Kevin McDonald's high pitched outrage always cracks me up. Dave Foley's insouciant smile and psychotic stare- EVIL!!!!!
+1 for insouciant
This is probably my favorite sketch from the KITH. The fact that so much of the humor derives from Dave not saying a thing.
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!"
Fans have been asking that of David Foley for years :)
I always love sketches with Dave and Kevin interacting. They play so well off each other.
I like the ones where their role is almost reversed too. The sociopath who keeps ghosting the friend played by Dave. I can’t remember what it’s called though.
YES! And the one where Dave is sarcastic at a party? And the one where they're arguing about Citizen Kane? Two of my all-time favorites!
@@dorcasia109 ..slipped your mind?
they were writing partners primarily
I've gotta go think.
Every Dave and Kevin sketch is about having an alcoholic father in one way or another. That they aren't repetitious is a testament to the unpredictable neverending nightmare of alcoholic fathers.
Only Kevin can make you laugh at his misfortune and feel sorry for him at the same time.
cause of dave's baby face, he can look real creepy just by smiling
Grinning at him like some kind of evil Christopher Walken. Haha
The other four always said McDonald was the most naturally funny.
That voice always gets me. Especially when he does female characters
@@mrmanjumac3454 that crossing guard Kevin plays in senior trip is one of the funnies characters I've ever seen. Still quote him to this day.
funniest one but oddly had the slowest career than the others after The show ended, Bruce I guess mainly just did directing
Just watching this sketch for the first time and, wow, I gotta go think.
I have three things to point out:
1 Dave Foley is awesome (and my favorite Kid in The Hall)
2 Dave Foley only owns One suit
3 This is hilarious and someone should do it in real life!
🙂
Same suit but different colour. Always look two sizes too big
Wait, back up... You're saying Dave is a hotdog?
4 Dave Foley made for an attractive French Canadian prostitute and would probably fetch the highest rates out of the group. 😂
Had to go and think after watching this. Then I came back and decided that I liked it.
"Why did he hit me in the--hey, fifty bucks!!"
These guys were all great i still dont know how all of them werent extremely famous after this.
Not everyone liked their comedy, but true fans love the hell out of them.
@@MaximumCarne yeah your right! Everyone I know that I'm able to get them to watch either think their hilarious or just really stupid.
@@jeffreyval9665 apparently some people think their comedy is weird. That’s part of why I like them. The fact that I can’t always predict where a sketch is going and yet it’s weird and funny as hell anyway.
They were probably way too ahead of their time
Everyone in this did become more famous though?
"We're gonna play a quick 9 holes of golf and then Sacrifice Jenkins."
*Jenkins Smiles, Waves*
They'll be needing a tenth hole, methinks.
This is genius writing. They should show this at arts schools.
I'm happy to say that I'm currently a student majoring in comedy in college and they do, indeed, show kids in the hall in some of my classes
i love how kevin's arguing about rye bread at the beginning
Kevin is too good, his shrill voice when he's completely lost it lolol.
Still cracking me decades later!
Wonder how many takes that took. I wouldn't have been able to stop laughing.

the funniest sketch i seen in a while, love the originality and the absurd.
This might be their best sketch.
Fantastic sketch. One of my favorites by them.
"Wow, I gotta go think" lmao
Winner of the Creepiest Smile award.
That was hilarious! So unusual - even for them!
the sacrificial Jenkins turned up in a lot of sketches. i wonder what happened to him
Rob Gfroerer, "Jenkins," as well as the other guys from The Vacant Lot, appeared in quite a few more sketches than I remembered.
Strange sketch, but I like it.
That line works because Kevin is sounds incredulous than angry...and that is what makes it so funny.
Nobody could work an audience quite like Dave Foley.

this guys are amazing i miss their show
I've developed a crush on Dave :) he's sooo cute
Never saw this sketch...just delightful!!!
I like to think that Tom is a...special...kind of demon summoned by upper management to identify employees with executive potential.
That was the best possible unexpected kind of take on that common phrase.
Heh... Dave and Kevin --
Dave, always good at playing the guys who are assholes to you for no particular reason.
Kevin, the specialist at playing nerdy nice guys and utter sociopaths.
In the comedy world Dave is what's know as "the straight man"
PUT SALT IN YOUR EYES
Will do....
Kevin and Dave have to be my favorites. They work great together.
Mine too, except for Scott, and Bruce, and Mark.
1:04, they are both so ready to crack a laugh ahahah!
I have the complete box set, and I don't know how these guys maintained such a high level of production. Did they ever sleep? 😆
@steelydan93 Definitely. He does the face in one of The Chicken lady sketches too. Kevin Mcdonald's high pitch "What Th' hell is wrong with you?!" is great as well.
That was freaking genius.
great skit
My life was normal . Then K.I.T.H. happened to me .
IETCHX69 welcome to the club!!!
The Kids In The Hall
A strange group, but I like 'em!
"wow. i gotta go think."
It's like an internet troll who somehow makes your life better.
poor Jenkins.
He didn't know what was coming...or he was cheerily participating. We shall never know
No one does uncomfortable like Kevin.
26! What a stud!
Dude needs to save some for the rest of us.
This skit is master class sketch comedy
UA-cam already knows I wet my bed.
From across the room
I freaking love Foley

50 bucks in Canadian currency. I went up there a couple years ago, I got my change back in these strange magic coins. Strange.
conspiracy!
Fun fact: If you plant those magic coins, a tree springs out! That's why we have so much maple syrup, and wood for our hockey sticks!
thank god for the kids in the hall i started watching them when i was 11 on comedy central all there sketches make me laugh :)
The ending was AWESOME!
I remember this bit. I was thinking Dave's character was Satan but it never turned out that way.
Wanted to hear where that Rye bread story was going, but the sketch was good too.
comical brilliance
i love anything with Dave in it
Genius.
I loved that show.
Ego and some resemblance of pride
this sketch is fucking great
I love the look on Dave Foleys face, you can tell how hard he's trying not to laugh
Dave Foley, Chaotic Good.

Wow. Too good.
The suit that Dave is wearing is the same one he wore in 'my god they can read my thoughts' skit obviously kids in the hall XD
and people think 'Tim and Eric' are comedic gold....
***** nope...i havent....heard, that is....especially when more than one isnt funny.

Dinglefritz Goldstein eh, who asked ya.
Dave Foley is my personal best.
I was a virgin til 26, too!
“I guess it's true what they say, the whole sales department are bedwetters.”
Does this skit remind anyone of that old Twilight Zone sketch with the old man who has what everybody needs?
Haha
i was expecting dave to say "i gotta return some videotapes"
Hey Jenkins was in a Sketch comedy show too, called Vacant Lot, no wonder he looked familiar.
Are those mint Nanaimo bars on the table? Now I want one real bad.
Do we have an update about Jenkins? I’m growing concerned…
Putting the punchline as the title almost ruined it, but it's KITH so fortunately it can't be ruined.
This guy gets me
Plot twist. They're all in the s cult
Classic skit! Who else thriving in 2020? 😎👍🏻
Never noticed how many sketches Rob Gfroerer from "The Vacant Lot" was in
Great turn.
What’s the point in sacrificing a ginger, they don’t even have a soul!
"You have to be bad to do good"!
I recognize Jenkins. That's the head nerd in PCU who coughs on a cigarette lol
Wasn’t Jenkins on that “Vacant Lot” show?
Poor Jenkins
Nostalgia
