This is by far the best sounding 15 mustang with an aftermarket axle-back system!
Taking the block off plates is a must. When you first fired it up, I was like that is too quiet. Then afterwards, Oooh Yes. I love the new sound. Love that it does not have that gurgle sound at slower speeds like the Roush does on my 13.

What type of power tool was used for tightening the clamps? I tried with a regular hand wrench, and mines were always loose so I had to get them soldered.

Hello, i purchased the quad roush axle along with the H pipe. I installed it on my stock diffuser but im using only dual tips while blocking off thr other 2 with the parts roush provided, i hope this wont effect the car.
I will be planning to order the roush diffuser with rear park sensors when its out but honestly i prefer the style / look of the stock diffuser more, the paint matching the car in the middle gives it a really nice look. I would appreciate if anyone could let me know if there is any other quad diffuser in the market other then roush that looks better! Like the shelby gt350 thats a sexy diffuser. Will that be availble for sale ?

hate that it only works with the premium models looking at getting a base gt with just the track pack and i was hoping to use the roush valence for quad tips, oh well have to figure something else out

Hesham Thabit Cutting will be required for any resonator delete and axle back combo. we will have a video up with week of the quads with an H pipe resonator delete

Chris I used a piece of felt over my bench, you can get it very cheap from a fabric store.
So will any Cat-back exhaust system work with a GT Premium convertible as long as I remove that support frame?

I never really took a long trip with it. With the plates off I think it would be livable.

shane Keep an eye out for the videos so you can decide for yourself which sound is best for you. The install is the same, if you have factory sensors the panel will be slightly different.
i think Roush should send some smaller studs with the kit ,because even the pros damaged the outside of the valence. look at 16:02 you can see the stud made a stress mark on the outside.
b fd That is correct and very good eye :) Many of these parts we install are pre production so we work with the manufacturers to many any changes where necessary.
Why is the undercar bracket a thing? I want an aftermarket exhaust on mine but want to know what will happen if I do take off the undercar bracket
The bracket stiffens the chassis since you lose a little rigidity with the convertible top.
CJ Pony Parts Saw your video on the mbrp xp race exhaust, would you happen to know if I took the brace off to install it if it would fit back on after? For reference it’s a 16 ecoboost convert. Mustang

Is there any exhaust systems that are made to keep the bracing on? Is it still safe without the bracing?
The Ford Performance 2.5 in kits will work with the bracing in place.

The plastic looks way too cheap. I'd keep the painted rear part and just get a normally fitting exhaust system.
Watching this video... I believe I could make this work with the base bumper cover.
Chard Davis could you please explain more on how you could make this work with the base bumper? because from i see, cutting probably wont work :(
Hesham Thabit it would involve some creativity. Maybe some fiberglass ... custom brackets possibly... in all and all.. to much work. All this is just speculation until I got it in my hand. But I like how the splitier has a lip that comes over the bumper, that way you can cover up a lot of stuff. It would probably be easier to just order a premium bumper cover from Ford.

Not without heavy modifications including cutting and welding.
So did this cover up the rear back up sensors?
***** This part was designed for a car without sensors so yes they are covered but we wanted to get the video done and all of our cars have back up sensors. There is a new version shipping soon for cars with sensors.

James Nunez Additional support for the convertible. Roush now offers a convertible version that allows you to keep the bracing.

Bill Tumas, I want to install the Corsa X O pipe with the Roush Axle back quad tip exhaust. The Corsa X O pipe is 3", would this application work or have you tried it?
Nicholas J Rousan I have not tried that combination but for the Corsa X to work with stock tailpipes it would have to reduce to 2.5 inches. The Roush mounts after the axle so there should be no issue.
Bill Tumas I would most likely run the cats to 3" tailpipe to the Roush Axleback. Would this provide adequate back pressure and not cause a flow issue? Would this make sense to do or go with a different axle back system?

Looks good. Sounds good. But any axle back exhaust that requires you to remove the entire back end of the car to install it is not worth it.

Unfortunately that car has moved on to a new owner. We did a video on the H pipe and standard Roush which will sound very similar.

going all through this for quad exhaust to only use 1 tip is very ignorant so just open them all up from the start
You mentioned the extra hangers due to weight. Did you happen to weigh the old stuff vs new stuff? The mustang is already a pig. Adding weight isn't what I want to do.
John Myers I did not weigh them but honestly it can't be more than a few pounds heavier than stock at the most.
at the start of this video this car had silver wheels. Toward the end of the video it has black wheels.

the installation of this thing is an absolute bitch. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. its a cool piece and the finished product looks great but it took me about 8 hours accumulatively. just go to your trusted body shop or even ford to get this thing installed
