My love for this church has grown even deeper for bravery exemplified by this two ministers, Father's, husbands, uncles and more. Thank you for verbally, boldly , and humanely showing us what's it like to love Christ on both sides of the debate. I have a son and I easily get angry. Even now I'm tearing up because the fear of being killed unjustly is SO REAL! Thank you for showing us the answer is GODLY LOVE!
I live in South Florida and back in 2017 I was a Lyft driver. I picked up a client and as soon as she entered my vehicle I could tell that she was suffering from some sort of mental disability. And she talked and talked and we had such a great conversation that led me to Elevation Church & Pastor Steven Furtick. I had never heard of the church nor of Pastor Furtick. She found the latest message from that week on her phone and we listened to it for the ride. When we reached her destination we sat outside and before she left the vehicle she asked if we could pray. Now what she didn't know is that I had been on a journey to re-establish my relationship with God; I needed that connection. I'd been Church hurt so I stopped going to church. However, I never stopped praying and studying the word and communicating with God. That ride was purposed for my life. We prayed and she left the vehicle and I have been tuning in to Elevation Church ever since. I considerate Elevation my church home and so honored to be a part of the EFam. This conversation is exactly what I needed just as every sermon before. This conversation will be extended above and beyond the elevation stage because it is filled with the love of the Almighty God. Love is what the Lord commanded us to do, to love one another and this conversation teaches that it can't just be by word but it must also be by action. Thank you Pastors!
King James Version 2nd John 1:6 And THIS IS LOVE,that we walk after his COMMANDMENTS.This is the commandment,That,as ye have heard from the beginning,ye should walk in it.(👈This is love according to the bible)
"We're not going to be able to heal this at the legislative level. This is not a legislative thing, you can't pass a law to change someone's heart." - Pastor John Gray
You can but at the end of the day do not put your faith and trust in a broken system. Even Jesus said, ‘if they hate you know that they first hated me.’ We can try our best to fight for justice in the system but whether it can be fixed in a day or not should not discourage us or change our hearts towards Jesus where we begin to fall into pits of despair, hopeless or depression. Jesus is still King, still our hope and He definitely still died for you and me. We recognise the problem and we offer a solution but ultimately, we exalt Jesus over anything. I know many people that are guilt tripping others into signing this and that. Tbh we shouldn’t be begging others to support if it’s not in their hearts. We can pray that they are lead by the spirit to effect change in society but we cannot force or make them feel guilty for not doing so. Everyone has a free will and we should not change our character or compromise our values to coerce somebody into seeing things as we do. Instead by prayer and petition we shall make our requests known!
The truth is.. even the word won’t heal it. Healing evil isn’t the goal. Sin will remain here until we die. Passing laws will help hold the evil/ bad at heart accountable and responsible. The hope is for those consequences to decrease the amount of offenses not eliminate it. Sin won’t be cured until Jesus comes back, yo. We all know this.
"My blackness is weaponized before you know the character of my manhood." "You can't pass a law to change someone's heart. That's why this conversation has to happen in the church because only the Holy Spirit can change the heart and change their mind and change their perspective and change their perception and give people value. Every single human being God ever created has the same inherent value. Because of the blood of Jesus, I have the same right to live, the same right to pursue my dreams as you." Powerful statements from Pastor John Gray.
Just 10 mins b4 coming across this vid, with a feeling of anger and not understanding, I prayed to God for him to send me understanding and to take this anger from me. Woohoo praise his holy name and his love for me he lead me to this vid. Thank you lord for answering my prayers. Thank you gentlemen for being HIS voice in a "world of silence"
The fact that I am white, my best friend is black, my wife and I have provided care to countless black babies, and that we have adopted and raised 3 black children has allowed me to assume the self-righteous position of "i'm not a racist, I have proof." However while watching this video, my heart was convicted and reminded of my smug "All lives matter" reply on social media. For the second time in my life I have repented and asked the Father to forgive me for the racism I have harbored, this time unknowingly. Thank you Pastor Steven for your vision, your leadership and your courage to be real. I am logging on to Become the Bridge so I can become a "doer" of the word
It works both ways. White people experience these things as well and it is a bit frustrating that the issue of police brutality is instead a racial issue.
@@jtfike hey love..I absolutely DO NOT doubt that you guys go through this or anything similar, we just do not know about it, I myself have not experienced it, closely experienced it, or saw it. BUT, NOT TO SAY IT DOES NOT EXIST. Police brutality is WRONG, it does not matter the race. We are all human and do not deserve to be mistreated, PERIOD. If we can all get together & stay 2gther in a positive way, we will be able to turn this thing IN THE RIGHT WAY..peace, love, & blessings to you my love
J L That quote actually doesn’t refer to any particular situation. It means that just because you haven’t experienced it yourself, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. That can be said for many problems that people stand in denial of. But I would also like to add that pointing out your problem, doesn’t somehow diminish ours. How about you fight for both instead of belittling?
He probably lost some followers because of this sermon but still had the courage and tenacity to do it. Thank you pastor Steven and elevation church for being a light the world needs right now. Share this video with everyone
"The tears of Black mothers keep the grass at graveyards green". Pastor Steven thank you from the bottom of my heart for you doing this. Having an open, vulnerable, honest conversation that MUST be had and it must start in the church. You are courageous and it's so appropriate this occurred on Pentecost Sunday, I know you were led by the Holy Spirit. God bless you and be a fence all around you!
Stephanie Ferrell my heart goes out to all mothers that lose children; you don’t have to be red, black, or white losing a child is has got to be a heartache that only the Lord can heal ❤️❤️❤️
Whoever is reading this I pray for peace, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and great health. May we come together and walk in unity so we can have love for one another.
You Don't Have To Like Someone But You Have To Give Them Common Courtesy And In South Africa You Can Fined Or Go To Jail For Your Racism And That's For Anybody And In America We Need These Laws.
But we can make policies that protect young black men from being murded🙏 I totally agree with you that laws will not change hearts but they do stop murder and child abuse many times.
What verse is that in the scriptures, what book? Ohh okay, don't lean on your own understanding. That's really offensive towards the Lord actually putting words in His mouth..
@@imac247i What does 1 John 1:7 say? That's what I thought... have a seat sir/ma'am. Everyone who believes in the name of Jesus has been cleansed by the same blood of jesus, and are all equal in the eyes of God.
"We have lost this art of conversation because we've replaced it with clicks and comments" This hit home for me. We're no longer talking to each other; we're talking AT each other. Thank you for this video.
All the way from South Africa. I often ask myself this question "is the church relevant to the modern day society? Looking at how the church responds to social injustices in the world. This is refreshing to watch.
I'm a South African living in South East Asia for the past 6 years. And I had given up on reconciliation and that's one of the main reasons I left. However, I have a beautiful Lao family and this conversation made me cry so hard. I have become numb and accepted the hate and despair, BUT I thank the holy spirit and the grace of God that my eyes are opening and I'm trading my stone heart for one of flesh. I know God is sovereign and always faithful and what the enemy intends for evil, HE will & CAN use for good! Impossible has never stopped Him and miracles is what He specialises in. I pray for a paradigm shift in the hearts and minds of ALL SOUTH AFRICANS IN JESUS NAME! ✝️🇿🇦✝️🌍✝️🖤✝️🇿🇦✝️
im also from South Africa...WOW this is heartfelt...This is amazing that issues are addressed from a church perspective...it is so easy to fall into the trap of "what doesn't concern you, let it be" it affects all of us human beings... we are all created in the image of God. If God was all about colour, none of us would be here...I always find myself going to the bible when the issue of race comes into play...i often wonder, How many people realise that Simon of Cyrene, who helped Jesus carry his cross, was actually a man of colour...and yet JESUS (saviour of the world), accepted help from a man who was not a typical portrait of the man we envisage.
My heart is on fire. I have been “in church” all of my life and have NEVER heard a conversation or message like this. EVER (at 46 years old). I have often wondered and asked God why pastors, church leaders, congregants want to act like race and racism don’t exist or it really isn’t affecting their members and therefore is something they don’t have to acknowledge or address! This conversation is TRUTH. Lord please let this video spread like wildfire throughout the Church, and change the hearts and minds of Your people. Thank you pastors for doing this. Please don’t stop. We need it.
Tears are falling as I realize I was letting my mind & heart be filled with despair in that same way your sons was. Thank you for being so open so people like me can learn more and be able to stand up and really “move”. Thank you SF for taking the responsibility you have. Bless you. I will move....
TAMISH I agree with you because we can't do it by ourselves because they (white ppl) don't hear us but it took for American to be burned down for ppl to see how our black woman and men are killed so easy without a second thought by the police in broad daylight with cameras rolling
As a woman that has seen much hurt in this world I agree, God bless us all, & protect our families, bring children back, cast out evil spirits right now in Jesus'/Yeshua's Mighty name Amen & Amen! We need to help each other, & lift each other up! make it happen.
Declaring that his murder is the result of racism when no evidence supports it is not how "real Christians" should behave at all. Murder is a sin all by itself and should be addressed as such. But jumping onto a bandwagon that spreads mutiny and fear when there is no evidence to support it is the very essence of being "worldly" instead of Christian.
"JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T EXPERIENCED IT, DOESN'T MEAN IT DOESN'T EXIST" "PLEASE DON'T LIMIT MY GOD TO YOUR EXPERIENCE" these are quotes from the video. AMEN
Love and forgiveness have to happen and I pray for peace and Love and understanding for us all in the family of Christ and it's in His name I pray amen 🙏🏻🙌💔Love never fails.
Hey everyone! This video was really helpful for me. I feel like I was able to finally see this clearly. Please if you are reading this, pray for my parents because I don't think I will be able to convince them that what's going on in the US right now is a legitimate issue. God has to do that. Thank you very much and God bless.
May God Bless&Kerp You Michael&May He Touch The Hearts Of Your Parents Now Lord&Open Up The Eye's Of Their Understanding That YOU Father Are God All By Yourself&Uou Made&Love Us ALL,In Jesus Mighty Name?Amen&Amen!
This conversation needs to be shown to every church. How two men that bleed red blood but have different skin colors come to honor and worship one God! Thank you for authenticity and having a REAL conversation!
Agree d whole heartedly. We all bleed the same blood --not blue ,not black ,not white, etc so l cant see for the life of me why we have so much resentment towards one another over skin pigment,
As a christian and a black woman I was both empowered and encouraged bu this open and honest conversation. This is a great start. Like and share this and lets have more conversations with people whom don’t look like us. Yes we see color and we have to bridge the gap to appreciate the differences because they are beautiful. Praying God will continue to give me resources to raise my children without fear, and empower them to be representatives of the kingdom and all the beautiful diversity within. Right now it feels very hard. Admittedly my heart is heavy!
OMG PASTORS THIS IS IT , THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF THE TALK THAT WE WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE A LONG TIME AGO. I’ HAVE TEXTED THIS TO MY 4 pastors and everyone else. I will make sure everyone I know see this message. I will be definitely praying for the both of you. I pray God covers you and protect you.
I for sure am hurting with America. America needs a revival. The biggest messes comes with Gods greatest miracles. My prayers to the family of Mr. Floyd. I pray they find peace and forgiveness in their hearts as God did for us.
Dear God, We thank you for the Power of your Word and your Presence over our lives. We thank you that no weapon formed against us will prosper, for greater are You who is in us, than he who is in the world. We pray that you will cast down every threat and accusation, every abusive word and cruel attack hurled our way. We praise you that nothing is impossible with you, that You are loving and gracious, full of mercy and might. We trust in you alone, to rise up strong on our behalf. Thank you that you are our Defender and Strong Tower, our Refuge and our Strength. Thank you that you fight for us today, and in our weakness, you make us strong. In the powerful name of Jesus, Amen.
I find myself coming back to this video after every racial shooting/killing. It feels like you are the only church that acknowledges our prospective in this country. As a person of color I often feel unseen, thank you for seeing us.
1 John 2:9 “Those who say that they are in the light, yet hate their brothers and sisters, are in the darkness to this very hour.” How can we call ourselves Followers of Christ and keep being ignorant to the cries of our brothers and sisters. Why should it take a knee on the neck for people to react. Thank you for this message ❣️ Please pray for West Papua also. There’s a genocide going on in West Papua. Please please please pray for the freedom for the people. All Lives Matter. ✊✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿God created our skin tone with beautiful variety, but our souls are the same colour. There’s only one race, that’s the Human Race. More churches should address this, it’s not a political issue, It’s a spiritual warfare. We need repentance, revival and restoration in the hearts of people, and that’s not something that can be changed by law and order, but through Prayer and Repentance
But now you've got to decide on who is your brothers. Are the ones that follow Satan your brother? Or just us who follow Christ. There is a line being drawn and you can read about it in the Bible. It's happening right now and a lot of us are going to the wrong side. Who is your brother? That answer will give you what side you're on.
ADONIJAH - Jesus didn’t just die for the Christians, he died for all mankind. So who am I to judge who is good and who is bad? That sit belongs to God. The bible teaches us love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. I consider everyone my brothers and my sisters. There is no such thing as a side, if there is, than it’s those who know Christ and those who don’t. we should be sharing the good news with those who don’t know Christ. There is no US & THEM. It’s just ALL OF US. God loves us all the same, and he sent his son Jesus to die for all our sins. So to answer your question, you are my brother just as much as a non-Christian is my brother. We need to stop seperating ourselves and calling ourselves Christians and start loving one another regardless because that is what the bible says. God bless you.
@@lolagamoga9792 The bible separates believers and non believers qui[te extensively. It even gets to the detail of eating sacrificed meat, it discusses how addressing sin is different, and it addresses holding others accountable in different fashions. We are all one body "in christ". Those who are not in christ aren't a part of the body.
What can I say !? Seriously I live in Australia and have just loved Elevation Church / Worship that saved me from the edge of a very dark abyss some years ago now... & now you have brought together two of the greatest ambassadors for Christ of the 21st century to confront what affects both the US to a huge degree & will affect Australia further down the line...somehow this message needs to go to the world !! Through your combined preaching you have opened up another can of my own personal worms to be dealt with and I thank you from the bottom of both my heart & spirit...Bless you all !!
ANTHONY GEORGE Thank you for saying what I could not. Faced being bullied as a kid from my same race, I did not begin to identify with my race until I was in my late 40's and fifties. I am now in my 60's and this powerful pair of preachers has raised the bar for me. I think I became numb to the pain. I was so hated for being my "skin" color I didn't know I grew numb! This message was for me. Lord deliver me from indifference!
Two incredible men of integrity, compassion and conviction. It will take a heart movement in every individual to bring about true change. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart for having the courage to risk everything to do the RIGHT thing. It's what Jesus would do. May this conversation reach every corner of this magnificent world that our heavenly father has entrusted to us....
This is such a sad tragic disaster in America! Stop the Hatred! Love your brothers and sisters. Lets all join in prayer! Pastor what a beautiful sermon! God Bless You
@@nacculatevassell8138 That's your opinion! I can call it racist as well. Earth has no sorrow that heaven can't heal! Question for you: So you hate your OWN sin as much as you hate INJUSTICE?
I want to thank you both for having this conversation and showing me a real, raw look at how the Church can be addressing the issue of racism. I am a veteran teacher in a high school that has become increasingly more diverse in the 20 years I have been teaching. My family attends The Blended Church in Indianapolis which is a multiracial Church. I am white, middle class woman and blessed to have a beautiful, smart biracial granddaughter. I am frightened for her, for her daddy and my daughter’s fiancé and everyone of my students of color. I like to think I am empathetic and anti racist but just like as a Christian, I am always growing in my relationship with my Savior, I always need to be open to learning more about the injustices toward blacks and other POC. I read a book called “White Fragility” and it was very educational. I felt there was about 85% I agreed with but still some that I didn’t get until I watched your message. The part missing from this book was the part about what Jesus modeled, taught, and gave us when He came. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life and it is only through Him that reconciliation can happen. Pastor Gray, May the Lord bless you and your family and protect you from the Evil One. Pastor Steven, thank you and for letting your heart break for what breaks God’s heart. Bless both ministries moving forward as well as my pastors and our church.
Amen Sister! Amen. What a beautiful prayer. Was very heartfelt. May God continue to bless you and your family in Jesus name amen. Thanks for sharing on both sides we have a lot to learn. Jesus Christ was so loving and compassionate. I feel like that has been missing for so many years but we have to pray for the church the Christian church for people to be more open-minded and willing to have a conversation even if it may be somewhat uncomfortable. I could tell that both of them Pastor Steven and Pastor John are really good friends. That is why i believe it was easier for them to have a discussion.
Please, please, everyone, listen to this. THIS is the conversation we need to be having!!! Two of the most truly anointed and important voices we are immeasurably blessed with today, when we need it more than ever!! You don't need to be Christian to get something from the Bible stories, they are LESSONS for Life. This is Truth, this is the Reality we are in. This is Compassion. We need to Elevate, we need to be Relentless, we need to BE THE BRIDGE! If you have never listed to Pastor Steven Furtick, I promise you, you have never heard anyone break down the the Word, the Bible lessons and stories, the meanings of the message, the way he does, making them all so, so relevant to today. Steven Furtick, Pastor John Gray, Bishop TD Jakes, if we've ever needed to hear your voices, we've never needed it more than today. May God bless you and bless you and bless you.
Racism is a symptom of a heart separated from Jesus. We need a heart change in this country. We must as a nation repent and bring Jesus into our lives, social circles, and families if we are going to see a change.
meena jones no, certain people that called themselves Christians did that. Just because someone calls themselves Christian doesn’t mean they are. Huge difference.
God is giving us a chance to fix our hearts and love one another, we were summoned to build our family and personal relationships because of corona, now, we are being summoned to deal with our hearts and treat our neighbors as we would treat ourselves ❤️ Head warnings of correction and love one another so that we can do what we were born to do.🙏🙌We all have to do better with certain behavior, seperation and blindness to injustice everywhere. "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly."- Martin Luther King
Amen this is the best way the church needs to be involved with social justice. The church needs to have open discussion just like this so that their congregations can begin to really really understand pain of the black experience. This conversation digs into some very real and deep topics. Thank you Pastor for opening your pulpit to this conversation.
Social justice begins by teaching the love of Christ at home. And the fact that before were Spanish Black or White we are God’s.children. That’s is what we need to uphold
I love this church and I call myself a member of this church and I am tired of the racism that is so prevalent in the south, where I live, and I stand with the people who are trying to change this and make this a true American culture for everyone. I was born in Holland and I am an American citizen who believes that we are all here together with each other and no race is better than the other. I want my friends to be accepted just like I am as a white guy.
Please incorporate this dialogue in your regular Sunday services, Pastor Furtick. This conversation can single handedly transform hearts. I believe it. This penetrated me. I believe you understand the urgency and the you know that time is up. I can see that you feel that. But when you are live at a regular Sunday service...don’t shy away from The important language that was used here. That you say what you really want to say. During today’s service (A different video), I said to myself “I got it”...because I did get it, but I got it without you saying “IT”. I got “IT” because I am a social justice arts educator who comes from poor family. Pastor Gray was right...you are the most influential Pastor of this generation. You are reaching people and honestly you are my pastor in my eyes. A Bronx Latina whose entire household has the corona virus RIGHT NOW. We are at the epicenter of the epicenter. How could it be that you’re my pastor? It’s the lord and it’s your gift...and I want to feel like you are fighting for us each Sunday: in your brave approach. Safe is dangerous today. Say what you want to say. SAY IT! I encourage you. Only because the “IT” is already alive and real to you.
Honestly, at times I've found myself to be indifferent and push certain important matters to the side out of fear. But I know now that its time for the church to be the children of God that God meant us to be. This means we need to be willing to have hard conversations, willing to be wrong, willing to change, and to forgive as Christ did for us. God teach me and give me your heart, a heart of compassion, and love in the name of Jesus!! Love you all!!
When God created humankind, He didn't say let's create them white and black infact He created them man and woman..... Colour was not fundamental we are all created in His image and therefore we must respect one another 💯 as it's expected from our creator. These is really a bridge connected.
We are all equal I agree... So how did the different races come about like Chinese indian.. I always wonder about this. Like what race was adam and eve... I know little about this from the Bible
it is a bridge. How many will cross it? free will, from the Lord God will not be over written. Jesus came and literally stands and knocks, will we open the door and receive Him and Light or die in the darkness of our own hearts.
I watched this Live stream and was brought to tears, THANK YOU FOR THIS COMPELLING and NECCESARY CONVERSATION Pastor Furtick and Pastor Gray. Yet, somehow in the chat I observed a comment that was aburtly deleted that still was spewing Hate. One can not call themselves a CHRISTIAN a BELIEVER and have Hate towards ANY HUMAN, ANY LIVING THING FOR THAT MATTER. GOD IS LOVE. JESUS HELP AND HEAL YOUR LOST AND BROKEN CHILDREN. AMEN🙏🏾
Understand that some people only care about hatred and watching the world burn. Most and i mean most of the white people in this country love and care about all our Brothers and Sisters of color in Christ Jesus. Dont let the ignorant people stop us from uniting. It is what scares them the most, UNITY.
I am beyond overwhelmed with emotion with the conversation that is happening in this video. Thank you to both Steven and John for saying, “let’s not wait.” I am a black man, a black mail carrier, a black worship leader, a black youth leader and I have experienced the fear of not knowing if I’ll make it home if I ran into someone who didn’t deem it necessary because of the color of my skin. This conversation hits home not just because of my experience but because of the God I Worship is not satisfied. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
“People’s souls are more important than your platform.” Ptr. John. Thank you Ptr. Steven for being brave and going out of your comfort and obeying the leading of the Holy Spirit.. 😢😭😭
Lord Jesus, I cry out to You and ask for help in our land. Elevate us Lord and show us the way and truth to Your light. Give us peace and hope to carry on. Let us come together in spirit. Guide us all Lord, that You give us the knowledge to know that this world can only be fix if Your children open their hearts. Love one another as You love us. And that we don't wait and dwell on the actions of one another but to know that they carry in their hearts the love of every human being.
Hello Pastor Steven. I am from Portugal 🇵🇹 and i love listen to you. Normally i listen in Spotify. Sorry for my English but i will try to write on your language how special you all are. Always love your podcasts. Helped me a lot. In so many ways that i cannot explain with words... Nobody talk to our heart about Jesus the way you do. I listen also others but you are the best because it's your simplicity and humble that makes you so different. So bless you for the light you give to the lives and hearts of so many people around the world. The reason i am doing this comment it's because i listened to this conversation with Pastor John Gray already 6 times. And i never get tired. There are things so special in this life... This conversation was made from God, I'm sure of that. Thank you so much for this.
Pastor Steven Furtick, Pastor John Gray, The Lord bless you and multiply you both mightily. We are thankful for the compassionate heart you carry for people in serving The Lord. May God continue to strengthen you both in your calling, as He uses your voice to reach the hearts and homes of many, as well as to key people that can make a difference in such time as this. ....reflecting on Exodus 3:7 - God called Moses, who thought himself as least candidate, and spoke to him about the afflictions and outcry of His people; Because Justice and Righteousness are the Foundation of His Throne - and so in Due Season, even such as now, God has a way of bringing justice and deliverance to the cries of the afflicted in the land. We Pray God's Peace and Righteousness in Christ Jesus to prevail for America, the Messiah who brought down the separating wall between Jews and Gentiles. Amen
Thank you so much Pastor Furtick for being a true leader during these times. Your platform and word is so appreciated. Having a difficult sometimes uncomfortable conversation is where God really moves and breaks through.
Thank you God so much for bringing Pastor John & Pastor Steven together ❤ 🙏🏼 🙌 to preach to us your Word of Love & uniting all of us together to bring this Pain of humanity to Heal each of us from how Evil this world has become. In Jesus Name We Pray Amen 🙏🏼 I was laying in bed this morning for hours listening to Pastor Steven's Sermons. I've been crying hearing this sermon. It's so disheartening that human beings are accepting murdering black men. I pray God convict every human being that don't feel the pain of our fellow human beings. Thank you Pastors for your very heart felt message! God bless you both & your families! I love you. 🙏🏼
P. FURTICK, THANK YOU!! I FEEL BETTER, & THE CHURCH WAS FULL, YOU JUST COULDN'T SEE US! ...I'VE BEEN WALKING WITH YOU BROTHER, AND I KNEW YOU WOULD HAVE THIS KIND OF IMPACT ON THE MASSES PRODIGY! I DON'T REALLY THINK YOU EVEN REALIZE HOW GREAT YOU ARE YET. IF I DON'T MEET YA, SEE YOU IN HEAVEN BRA! I HAVE TEARS OF JOY NOW, & NOT FEAR! GOD BLESS YOU TWO POWERFUL PEOPLE! HISTORY IN THE MAKING, PLAY THIS TO THE WORLD!!!
To BOTH of these annointed Pastors I thank you from the bottom of my heart!! You're both WILLING VESSELS for the Holy Spirit to dwell!! I saw the witnessed the LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST in your hearts, and not just for God but for EACHOTHER!! A one of a kind friendship formed by our ONE and only God!!! Pastor Steven I cant tell you how many times your sermons have witnessed to my soul. I have tossed and turned in my heart and mind concerning so many injustice situations including vile racism in a cult that I was born and raised in. I was always an outcast because my family wasn't the "elect" bloodline of God. I was 8 years old in their homeschool math class when the principal of the school RIPPED a page out of each of our textbooks because there was white children holding hands with a beautiful black girl and a Chinese boy!!!! That was just one of the many racist circumstances. They use racial slander even in their Church. I was also one of 18 girls that were taken advantage of by the elders. I wasn't of the same bloodline so wasn't good enough for their incest elected offspring. Only their elected 1st cousins and or uncles were to marry. I moved to Alabama almost 3 years ago and now I am able to recognize the BLESSINGS in my life. I pray for the members of the cult. I have been praying for YEARS to know what I'm called to do about this cult. Today listening to this MIRACLE MESSAGE I felt relief to speak up about the injustices that still occur to this very day. The innocent babies being born from incestuous relationships are having serious consequences and someone ME must speak up!! God is good. Pastor Steven when said "silence is sin" that hit me like a lightning bolt of Holy Spirit!!! Thank you both for your generational blessings for all generations to come!!! God is GOOD and y'all prove that now and many will come to have personal relationships with JESUS because you have been faithful in your ministry!! All my Love. Starr💜
So glad to finally hear in church that racism, injustice, death, hatred, and not having impiety for another human is evil/sin and we must Repent and do something. Thank You!
Steven Furtick is by far my favorite pastor he preaches from his soul and it comes from realness and authenticity. I have been moved, changed, and elevated through his ministry and I live in another state across the country from Elevation church campuses. This conversation that John Gray is talking off is real systemic racism started before this country was formed John Gray mentioned 1619 we know as the year the Mayflower landed carry slaves true. He mentioned Chattel property that is the term that derived during the infamous transatlantic slave trade which means "movable property". We was not human we were not labeled human but "movable property" that was sold to the highest bidder. Fast forward to 2020 still the same ole systemic racism and inequality we face daily. We never really had equality as John stated and if we can begin in the church to deal and heal it can start a new level of understanding. John Gray said it best it is a heart issue.
I truly want to Thank GOD first for blessings you two to come together and speak on every subdued that we are godly people are dealing with I am a black female has raised two young boys to became men of GOD. I am worried about my sons. They are twenty-two and twenty years ago! I have tried my best to teach and show how to speak to others in a way that GOD will show them! I have to give everything to GOD for putting these together for ME and MY SONS!!
This conversation was so beautiful and so needed. Raising 3 African American boys, my heart needed to hear something and these two gentlemen answered the call. Thank you, both for using your platform to speak to understanding, solutions & healing. 🙏🏽
I watched this today on Monday morning and this hit home for me. I live in MISSISSIPPI and down here we are taught a certain way not just caucasian people but the african american people are too are taught it's okay to be bias or pr predjutice...and I'm so glad that this was put out there. God spoke to me through this so much it brought me to tears...and I know it was meant for me to see. As for me I will make changes in my heart that I thought were okay cause the way Ive been treated by people..and praise God for that
Thank you so much for this. I was so worried that the church I am now calling home would be silent on these issues and our current world. Though you have shown the courage to speak honestly and raw about everything that will help us going forward. I hope this message will touch many hearts and minds.
What a great conversation between two great men of God, my prayer is that we dont let this conversation stay on that stage but go through our homes and this world. We are the body of Christ, we are brothers and sisters. The bible even teaches us when one part of the body hurts we all hurt, my heart is hurting and Jesus is the answer. So much greatness came out of this, if we can get the love and spirit of Pastor Steven and Pastor John into this world all I can say is wow!!! how awesome would that be. Keep the conversation going...
Thank you Thank you Thank you....I have tired to figure out how to move forward through this and be part of the solution and not part of doing nothing. I pray for you John Gray and all of my hurting brothers and sister. I pray that God's love will move people to repent and turn their lives toward God and get a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit that will move them to TRUTH of who they are and how they need to be part of the change. I pray that this is not lip service and we are not here again in a week or a month or a year, but that this stops today. TODAY is stops with me. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. We will walk in truth.
I'm also from SA and the conversations that has been taking place these couple of weeks have really touched my heart. I pray that I can take the same message to my generation and pass it on to the generations after mine.
Thank you so much pastor’s.... I cried at the purity and genuineness of this conversation!!!! My God I love and respect you both so much and you both have been an amazing blessing to my life for years now!!! I’m in awe of the spirit of holy boldness that God has put on you both!! Continue to be empty vessels and the hands and feet of God!!! I love you guys!!!!
This event has shaken me to the core! God help my black, brother’s and sister’s. This is not right what on earth was that man doing let justice be Riches’s
Courage is an important character of a Christ follower. Sunday is the most segregated(divisive) day of the week. Before a Church can take a City with love it must first conquer the injustice of racism. For without Love the rest is just noise. God Bless Steven Furtick for not ignoring the heart of God!
Thank you for breaking the back of the systemic devil that has been in existence. It calls for a change of direction and a change of heart. May the church be the voice of the voiceless.
Thank you for watching, Ali. We have to speak. We aren’t going to say everything perfectly, but in a season like this, silence is agreement. ^EC Team
I needed to hear this today. So thankful. My heart is no longer heavy.

"We're not going to be able to heal this at the legislative level. This is not a legislative thing, you can't pass a law to change someone's heart." - Pastor John Gray
My friends lives matter too
You can but at the end of the day do not put your faith and trust in a broken system.
Amen
I believe this is key to change. It starts in the houses of worship if change is to happen permanently.
"My blackness is weaponized before you know the character of my manhood."
"You can't pass a law to change someone's heart.

"The world has lost its ability for conversation because it's been so obsessed with clicks and comments." - Preach.
“Just because I didn’t experience it, doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist”.
Arielle Nonette now that’s a mouthful & sho nuff the truth
Who exactly is saying “because I’ve never myself seen X, it doesn’t exist?” What a ridiculous pretense.

All the way from South Africa. I often ask myself this question "is the church relevant to the modern day society? Looking at how the church responds to social injustices in the world. This is refreshing to watch.
Also from SA.. We are called to act justly, love mercy and to walk humble with our God. Let us, the body of Christ be first to change!

This hit me so hard, 😭😭🙏🏿thank you so much.
May God heal South Africa as He heals the US.
im also from South Africa...WOW this is heartfelt...This is amazing that issues are addressed from a church perspective...it is so easy to fall into the trap of "what doesn't concern you, let it be" it affects all of us human beings... we are all created in the image of God.
Heaven will be filled with people from every ethnic background and colour.
We need it.
Well said.

Extremely sad for the senseless violent murders of two other great guys in all this - David Dorn and Patrick Underwood.

Pls disregard the thumb down symbol by mistake. I appreciate spreading the truth of my sins of ignorance, apathy

@@nacculatevassell8138 That's your opinion! I can call it racist as well. Earth has no sorrow that heaven can't heal! Question for you: So you hate your OWN sin as much as you hate INJUSTICE?
God is not color blind. He is not about culture, he is about kingdom. I love it!

"We need to look at what's in our minds & how it got there." Amen!!! Let's deal with the roots & not the fruit 🙌🏾
"We've programmed Jesus with the 5 to 7 things we want Him to say." WOW this is powerful! Thank you gentlemen.
Amen this is the best way the church needs to be involved with social justice. The church needs to have open discussion just like this so that their congregations can begin to really really understand pain of the black experience. This conversation digs into some very real and deep topics. Thank you Pastor for opening your pulpit to this conversation.
And hopefully it's causing deep conversation in the homes it's being streamed to. God bless you bro.
Social justice begins by teaching the love of Christ at home. And the fact that before were Spanish Black or White we are God’s.children. That’s is what we need to uphold
As a black man, I thank you for being honest, humble, raw, and open for this conversation Pastor Steven. God Bless You!!
😢❤️
Amen!
Amen! God bless you and keep you when you WILL be challenged in this. Together!!
Thank you for being honest I know it easy but I'm glad the conversation is happening! God blessed you 🤗
When God created humankind, He didn't say let's create them white and black infact He created them man and woman..... Colour was not fundamental we are all created in His image and therefore we must respect one another 💯 as it's expected from our creator. These is really a bridge connected.
AMEN!!!
you are my brother in Christ . Our creator made us equal and because of that i love you .
No, he did not SAY a color, however, his vision must had been in color. Because he did create a black woman first.
You are on IT Chris Slaughter, God bless you and yours!
Amen!
Amen
Jesus came to change the World! We are called to change the world, through love and truth. Standing for what is right. Not me, but Jesus in me!!!!!
Amen!!!
Amen!
In Jesus name AMEN!!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Thank you! This answer to my prayer
We need to change
THIS IS THE MOST POWERFUL MESSAGE OF UNITY THAT EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH.UNITED WE STAND,DIVIDED WE FALL.
I love you. 🙏🏼
Pastor John:"[My mom has] never brought bitterness home, she always brought hope home. And she taught the same with me. "
"We focus so much in the image not the substance" AMEN
I am Muslim & I am moved. I thank you both so much for this.
Thank you pastor Furtick. I was so blessed that you used your platform for such an important conversation. We need more pastors like you. God bless.
Amen ♥️🙏🏾
😢thanks i need that
Yes!
Thank You!
Honestly Pastor Steve is a powerful preacher
"Don't limit my God to your experience!" Amen to that and AMEN again!!!
It’s touched mine. ❤️
Amen thank you so much Pastor Steven!
I don’t even have the words !!! This message is needed . Pastor John Gray did an amazing job at communicating . Wow !
i am from South Africa and i want to thank God for blessing our world with such amazing pastors that share his word with love and compassion!!!
Ps. John said it. In South Africa, we are getting touched. Thank you this conversation.
“You have to be able to embrace the totality of me so that I can trust you with my soul” every American teacher/pastor/preacher needs to hear this.
Compassion isn't a spirit its a heart beat, thank you Pastors John & Steven for choosing the kingdom over systematic influence.🙏
Humphrey from UGANDA.
“We have to speak even though people may misunderstand.” Amen! Jesus was misunderstood so it’s expected that we as His disciples will be too.
OH MY!!! I have wept through this...and love you both so much.
“Please don’t limit my God to your experience” 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Don’t blow this opportunity for God man! The sweet Holy Spirit has this conversation!
