EUC is probably the most practical form of transport (without cargo) due to size, portability and power to weight ratio, but EV-bicycle uses less energy for same distance travelled due to coasting and pedaling input. Awesome video!

Love these videos you are coming out with about your passion for PEVs in general. Sometimes it feels weird to say I'm passionate about PEVs because there is no community for it where I live and they can seem like gimmicky trinkets to most people. But to me it's like therapy, it's a way to feel free and explore, get out of the house. I'm new to this thing and don't have money or space to get a bunch of PEVs, but I couldn't be happier with my one wheel and scooter, I would say they changed my life for the better

Tempted. An EUC certainly seems the more practical and capable choice over an OW. But not sure I can take the beating from learning, I'm 64 and got a concussion last summer on the eMTB.

Onewheel is much more dangerous then an EUC.

Awesome video, footage and info! can you share info on the helmet your wearing? good chin and face protection but looks lighter than a dirt bike helmet???
Any recommendations for shoulder protection? I bought a one wheel and separated my ac joint before I could even ride it, worried about falling on that shoulder now when I can try it.
Hey jimmy, just curious... how do you measure battery degradation across your PEV's? or maybe a better question is, how do you measure battery efficiency and monitor for any loss in efficiency over time? Battery % per mile? Thanks for any help you give!
I think a lot of fear starting ow/euc is many don't want to be embarrassed falling, or be judged against someone else's better skills. We see new riders waiting forever, while getting skilled, before joining rides and regretting it. Getting out of your comfort zone a little often is how we learn, and is the best and safest way to learn ow/euc. But people don't want to be patient, want short cuts, to get to showing off faster
@aMiFiii sure, but it's easier with someone else. And you can learn a lot. There are grouprides ND grouprides top. EUC grouprides are like a race. Onewheel grouprides ate chill. We can ride fast alone, we like to be sociable!

i dont fear the wheel, I want either a EUC or onewheel. What I do fear is the price lol. Just saving for it and then all these other bills or things pop up, but I def want both EUC and Onewheel.
I opened up a credit card with 12 months 0% apr for just for this purchase, put whatever you have saved up towards it and split the remaining amount into 12 payments.

Earlier today just before the ice storm I ran to the store on my scooter. When I pulled in I seen a uni wheel flying across the parking lot and smash into the side of an old ladies Camry. It apparently ghosted on him and got away . The rear driver side door got hit so hard it made the inside door panel pop off. Looked like a 200lbs white tail buck hit it. I don't know what brand wheel he had because that old lady was tweaking out, yelling and throwing her arms in the air. I didn't wanna stick around. I hurried up in the store and beat feet

I appreciate that you had like minimal protection on but honestly man if you fall you’re a meat crayon with what you have on. It’s better than nothing but I recommend investing in better safety gear like for motorcycles

Irresponsible to be promoting Onewheel. It's extremely dangerous. I have one. I'll stick withy Ebikes.
Ebikes can reach higher speeds and end up being more dangerous 🤷♂️
OneWheels are dangerous and should be banned...
To keep everyone safe, anything with wheels would need to be banned.
