  • Fivics Archery make a range of Recurve archery equipment aimed at target archers and Elite target archers.
We review the Vellator riser - we go through various ILF limbs to determine which ones will fit. We setup a Vellator and shoot it for a final analysis of the bow.
The Fivis Vellator Riser in Australia retails at $525.
Fivics Titan EX Carbon Foam limbs $890

Steven god love you man.... when shit goes wrong it goes wrong all the way ...... This is why you are the BEST on youtube for reviewing archery goods ..... most people would have edited it out all the mishaps but you went with it in all honesty and that makes you a valued and respect owner, archer, reviewer KUDOS to Archery Supplies Australia.....

You should get in touch with Fivics, get a comment from them. Would be interesting to hear what they say.

5:00 all ILF limbs will fit all ILF raisers but that doesn't mean you can clip one set out and another straight in, I had to adjust the tiller bolts on mine when I changed from Kaya to SF.

The limb was to tight on the bolt you would need to sand the inside of the limbs. Cartel had this problem also in the past.

I have a black Vellator v1 and love it. Grip is great. I have Chinese made Tachyon carbon foam limbs that lock in like silk. I will keep shooting this setup until I’m good enough to upgrade.

Good to hear/see you. A great and honest review as always from you. If you asked 100 shop owners to give honest reviews about their merchandise I bet only a very few would be that honest. Can't wait for more recurve reviews. Thank you.

I don't think hardly any sales people are honest so do your home work. Most people are just interested in selling which I understand. I honestly don't know how a review will roll till I start shooting. The Mathew Triax went horrible but a Vegas some people shot that bow great.

A real tight fit, like will almost not fit at first tight is the best. Add a really small amount of grease the first time you mount it and then it will set to perfectly tight but not too tight after a couple of sessions.
Overall probably the best review of any archery gear I have ever seen.

Hello Steven, I believe the tightness is due to the extra 'clear coat' on the riser. The (U) size is designed not accounting for the paint and is very precise.. when the riser is painted and glossed with clear coat.. the size changes by ~0.02mm.. hence the fitting issues.. you can scrape it off and they are good.

Hi Steven, if you don't mind me raising a point, if you are going to file out the varnish on the Inside of the limb joint, don't use a file, use a piece of rolled up wet & dry! Less damaging to the limb!

I shoot Fivics risers with mostly W&W limbs. NS and NS-G holes seem a little smaller than the WIAWIS One limbs I have. I've always had to lightly sand the NS and NS-G holes to get them to fit.

During your full length bow review/speed test you should try those limbs on your TFT riser, and see if it is the riser or the limbs that are reducing the vibration and shooting so well for you. Maybe some mix and match between brands would make the ultimate bow.

What would be interesting is when you test the Fivics riser is:
The difference between the Titan limbs vs Vellator limbs on the same riser.

Why do so few people use fivics bows? They look awesome to me and from what I've seen online people who used them like them very much. But when I ask experienced archers in my club, they all tell me to buy win&win or hoyt... I really want to buy the valletor but not sure if it really is a good choice as I don't know anyone shooting fivics bows.

Hey Steven, I'm planning to upgrade my equipment. I would love to have your opinion on what should I upgrade first. My current setup is sf forged, premium limb, sf sight, ww hmc plus stab, accura x one prime arrow.

    • @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale
      @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale  5 років тому +1

I basically had that setup - I upgraded the sight because it came loose, Limbs and riser did not make much impact in my view, but if you find a riser you prefer go for it. I liked this riser, try it and see what you think. I prefer foam limbs. I am about to compare limbs.
