I have knee pain from wearing them out because of excessive running. I have to do knee strengthening exercises and found yours to actually feel like Im strengthening my knees because I feel a burn and effort while doing them. Also I don’t like gyms and prefer yoga so these are perfect!! Thank you so much
You should try exercise from Ben Patrick (Knees Over Toes), His program is called ATG. There is a knee program that you can do without gym equipment and it does wonders for your knees. The program is called Knee Ability Zero.
This routine is from Ben Patrick (Knees Over Toes Guy). It's in his Knee Ability Zero book. I've been doing this exact routine for a couple months and have received AMAZING benefits from it. It has also improved my hip mobility and flexibility. Thanks for making a video with this Tim. I love the versatility of this channel!
These exercises have helped to create strength and mobility for my knees, ankles, and hips. If you're ready for part 2 click the link below to try on the CMC in the "mobility course" section: www.timsenesiyoga.com/consciousmovement You'll get access for 2 weeks free by using the link After years of skateboarding and surfing injuries, I came to accept certain limitations from my legs. After 3 months of adding these exercises just 2x a week, I gained back mobility and strength that I thought impossible. Even my low back mobility has significantly improved with these exercises. I want to challenge you to add these exercises to your routine 2x a week to see what it does for your yoga asana practice. Are you down? Keep me posted In the comments section please : )
Thank you. You seem genuinely interested in helping others without seeking reward. Your content is good and you credit the creators. You will get what is due to you, without asking.
I have an old knee injury from having a mosh pit slam me knee into the corner of a stage some ten plus years ago. My old doc never took it seriously and now some issues tend to flare up, and with more frequency as I'm aging. I'm familiar with this concept. Thanks, Tim, for putting this information out there in an easily accessible way. I'll definitely be implementing this into my weekly routine.
I really appreciate that there are people like you out there doing this because you are helping others and hopefully sustaining a career in something you love that is so positive for the world and the people in it. Thank you so much. 👍🏻✌🏻❤️💪🏻
Two weeks into this now and my knees are feeling much stronger although my feet ache more but I think this is just strengthening and using them in a different way thank you Tim 🙏🏻
I swear, every time I need something, anything, I search 'yoga with Tim...' + a word, and every time you have a video to save me. Today, my knees are grateful
Perfect timing. My knees have been complaining lately. Just chalk up to getting older, however, this routine is giving me new hope. Will stick with it.
Thank you for this clear, concise, very helpful video. I hate videos with long minutes of saying why to do the exercises, while you search for when the actual exercises begin. I'm battling pain in my groin and hip, but my knees definitely need this strengthening too. Thanks so much.
I’ve been doing the feet exercises, just 12 reps 3 times a week. The back foot press feels like it’s strengthening. When I do the wall work I can feel some crunching noises from my knees, it’s not painful it’s just the noise sounds … well not great . Will that ease over time Thank you
I'm a 62 year old woman with significant arthritis in my knees. When I do these exercises I feel and hear a lot of grinding. Is this something to work through if it's not very painful? Or a sign to stop? I'm worried about injuring myself....
Try isometrics or water exercises. As a retired physical therapist, the grinding noise is likely bone on bone areas where the articular cartilage is missing or worn down. It'll only get worse with loadbearing, knee flexion/extension exercises.
This was my experience for several years: grinding sounds on the knee, especially in lunges, knee forward. It’s almost certain you’re hearing bone on bone. An X-ray will determine. Mine did. I had a knee “replacement” (nothing is replaced; a bearing device is installed); now lunges are smooth and strong.
Thank you! I have been following Ben Patrick's work, but I have had a hard time making myself do the exercises. It helps to have someone guiding and doing the routine with me! Really appreciate this, and thank you in advance for the part 2!

@@yogawithtimevery time I do the last exercise my “bad knee” pops is that okay? I think it’s more of a tendon or something it does hurt just a weird sensation 😂
Thanks for the class Tim, those exercises feels amazingly good and you provide enough information that we can tune them to fit our level of strenght and sensitivity. I noticed how my right knee is weakened thus the pain i was feeling. I'm taking things slowly to develop strenght gradually and give me a couple months and these bad boys will be deflecting bullets no doubt.

I did only the first 3 exercises at the end of a long day. And just that felt amazing I will definitely be adding this to my routine 2 times a week. Now if I can get my husband who has bad knees to try this.
