So sorry about your outsourced shop being so behind. I work at a small shop and were super behind too. It’s basically just me working 90% of the time, the pressure to get stuff out the door quick for customers is so tough even with as many machine as we have. Glad you were able to get your own machine to help speed up your process

Mikey be carefully. Look into zsk and barudan for embriodery. I have the em1010 and it’s 7/10. Definitely recommend zsk or barudan

Try out some screen printed shirts and implement some puff embroidery on em. You can charge a nice premium price for that kind of work.
I couldn't agree more!! Last year we did some shirts with screen printing, embroidery, and mirror like HTV. Brough in some $$$, BUT they looked awesome as well.
Our business took off when we added embroidery in house. Good move and good luck man.

Thanks! I still have it. It's been a workhorse. They're both great machines. The reason is we do on average about 24-36 piece job. Just a little something to compliment whatever merch our clients are producing. The quality of the TC has been great, and just fit the bill for the price point. I honestly couldn't tell you what the difference is aside from the MT is more gear for commercial business. We purchased this machine to just get control over the embroidery side of things instead of outsourcing. As the embroidery side of things grow, we will eventually get a 4 head MT.

Thanks!!! We all have actually been able to pick it up. It's been quite easy to get into. LOL, won't be long before I share what dos and don'ts I've learned thus far. They do take some maintenance to keep working smoothly, but it's pretty minimal. I'm anxious to learn the digitizing part of it!
What is the difference in price for the TC-1501 vs the MT-1501?
Not 100% sure. I believe the MT model is more for industrial use? Might want to reach out to them and ask.

It's been working great. We have literally been running the machine non-stop 8 hours a day cranking out orders.

Those Ricoma machines suck. Should have bought a tajima or barudan. Ricoma is a Chinese machine and is problematic. I would only use barudan or tajima especially if used for hats.
I appreciate your opinion. We've outsourced caps to vendors that have other brands. The quality of their embroidery, to be honest, hasn't been near as good as what we have been producing with our Ricoma. IMO, any machine we've had, issues come up, but it's the operator / decorator that makes the difference. We've produced quality prints with an antiquated TUF press that not many people could produce even on a (insert your go to brand here). I would get, v squeegees suck this, and that... Technique, patience, and how you go about resolving those issues makes a huge difference.
