That couple is amish, you are funny. I like your channel. Hope to see more videos.
What a charming home. I’m so glad that the success of Laura’s books allowed her to donate the Home. What a beloved series of books! I’m 59 and I re-read Farmer Boy this year 😊
Thank you for sharing this! I hope to check it out one day!
I watch the show till this day.😊
The home and grounds are beautiful , such a legacy..Thank you for sharing..😊
I've been there. It's very cool. I also have been to DeSmit, SD, where the Ingles lived when Laura was a child. Highly recommend both places!
I loved reading the Little House books when I was a kid. ❤
In my library here, they have the books in Adult Format. I have to go back to that section. I read the child books when I was little. I just want to see how they were truly written the Adult Format was supposed to have been taken from her writings.
U did a wonderful job on the video of her i like it i watched her on Little House on the Prairie she did good on there like the show
I got to see the house in person It was fun to see
My daughter took me on a mothers day trip here and precious moments chapel. One of the many fantastic mothers day gifts she has showered me with. Both little house and precious moments are my favorite things
I never get to travel. I really appreciate you posting this 😊
I've been there twice but not since the new museum was built. Beautiful place. So peaceful.
Great video
My daughter lives about 1 hour from there. When I visited her, we went there as both of us are :Little House..." fans.❤
Thank you sharing this 😊
Amo questa scrittrice.❤
So glad you popped up in my feed today. Watched this and I thought you did an amazing job narrating. Subscribed 4 minutes in. Glad to be here to take adventure trips via your channel. ✌️&❤️
Kentucky girl been there 3 times love it. First I went with my mom aunt and uncle. Then few years ago mom and I took my son's.
Thank you. This destination is on my bucket list but I doubt I'll ever be able to go now.
You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching. 😊
Beautiful house and interesting history. 😊
In an episode on the series, a Tornado destroyed Laura and Almanzo's house causing them to move back in with her Mom and father until the family got Almanzo to quit feeling sorry for himself because he was crippled. They showed where her father and Almanzo made a tiny little house right next to where their was house layed. I guess it was incorporated from the wood of the old place.
Was that Hollywood hype or is that history?
I still watch the old re-runs. Favorite show back then. Still among my favorites today.
Thank You for Sharing 😊
Been there about 8 yrs ago. The museum is pretty neat. Pa's fiddle was the highlight for me in there 😊
I've been there but it was about 20 yrs ago. Well worth the trip from K.C.
Would like to see what the Olson family looked like and Also Albert.
I still need to go inside there I went quite a few years ago but they were closed for the season so and they didn't have the museum that's interesting
There is 2 in Iowa, Decorah and Strawberry Point and one close to the border in Walnut Grove Mn
I thought it was just a old small cabin. Looks they had some money.
I was amazed at the height of the cabinets
Welcome to humid misery lol the southern half tends to get more ice than snow so I'm guessing that's what that sign is about
Didn’t you go to the rock house?
The rock house is really neat!
why is it such a small format? It's not fun to watch.😌
It's bull. Mary wasn't blind in real life. She was blind for the little house on the prairie series but not in real life. So some of this info is not correct.

@@wanderingwithwoodside I'm sorry but I saw a documentary on TV a few years back based on this family. Mary Ingals was never blind. Carrie never had children , but married a man with children. And PA n MA never could have a son due to a DNA/ chromosome defect. It was very informative. That's where I got my info from.
@Carmenlqm There were certainly liberties taken with the TV series. I wouldn't argue against that. 😊
@@wanderingwithwoodside thanks.
Beating a dead horse for money?
Too much talk about nothing. Get organized.
Went there. Wish they have sign language. Oh well. Boring not know what they say.
