We use to put them on a shelf in the basement. Fairly dry basement, no air circulation no dehumidifier. Took a good while but you tend to forget about them being there so it happens really fast lol. Zero cracking. Will be following along. Thanks , terry

It will be very interesting to see how they turn out. I didn't know there was a pentrating epoxy. Do you know what other uses there are for it?

Hi Mike. Thanks for watching. I know that penetrating epoxy is used in the boat industry for wood that is starting to deteriorate. It soaks into the wood, seals it and prevents further damage.
some of the raw lumber I get for guitar fretboards is waxed on the ends. i wonder if that's another sealer you could experiment with ?
