that looks great for a first time, keep it up! Also depending on the look you're aiming for, you can always stitch some eyes with black yarn(or really any color, go crazy).
@@SophieyTV you’ll hit struggles, but make sure you don’t get discouraged. You did the right thing to put it down and sleep on it. I’ve been knitting and crocheting since I was 6, and you’ve already been worlds more adventurous than I was for years!
New subbie here!! Can't wait to see your future videos!! ❤ I'm also brand new to crocheting and also got the Bernat blanket yarn.. tried to make a blanket and nope!!! Nope. Nope..... I have the same problem.. can't see the stitches lol so I'm going to put the Bernat yarn away for now and practice smaller projects with my acrylic and cotton yarn lol maybe one day I'll be good enough to try the Bernat, just not now lol 😅
Thank you for subbing! yeah the blanket yarn stitches are hard to see especially on the first 3-4 rows at the beginning. What helped me was using a lot of stitch markers so I know where the stitches are. By row 6 or so I was able to tell where the stiches are. It's definitely a slow process at the beginning 😅
