Today Tim reviews Jack Daniels Tennessee Apple Whiskey. This is a brand new product to come out of the famous distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Jack Daniels uses their Tennessee whiskey and blend it with their own proprietary apple liqueur. As one might expect, there is heavy apple aromas on the nose. That apple flavor follows through onto the palate but is not as sweet and syrupy as some of the other flavored whiskies go. Cheers!

I'm not a drinker, but I bought this for medicinal purposes before the state store shut down due to the Coronavirus closures. I tried it straight, and though I cannot stand alcohol in general, it was certainly palatable and smooth. The apple taste is prominent which was a big plus for me as a non-drinker. The light, warm burn in the throat assured me that any onslaught of sore throat could be dealt with in a pleasant way by this tasty apple-flavored germ killer. Well done, Jack Daniels.

I tried this today and it’s alright. Definitely strong on the apple, kinda makes it taste artificial and reminds me of apple flavor vodka which is kinda a turn off just to me. The honey jack is way more smoother in my opinion and the apple jack just leaves a strong apple after taste

Yep, there is definitely a lingering apple flavor - but that is what many people that drink flavored whiskies are looking for, something to help mask the whiskey taste.
