My son and i went. I was so happy to introduce my son to the mesmerizing guitar master Joe Bonamassa! The Civic is a perfect venue - intimate, elegant, perfect acoustics. I will definitely return for future concerts, but their future lineup pales in comparison to Joe!

I was in the front row for this show. Joe told the audience he had not performed Pain and Sorrow live for any audience in a very long time. This was one of my favorite offerings for the entire show. That concert was absolutely stunning from the "Welcome Back Kotter" intro to the "Crossroads" 2nd and final encore. BRAVO JOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was there. Been a fan for years, but this was the 1st time seeing him live. Thoroughly enjoyed the concert & the SJ Civic was a perfect venue. Sound was exclnt! Reese Wynans, nothing to be said, a legend. I do wish he had brought along his horn section & 3 backup singers for the show …
SMC native so so happy this even happened, let alone ruled ! Joe's all over here plus i have like 10 titles. Easy to forget what a great player he is. Tears of joy wiped away more than once.
Gawd he used to tear this song up back in the day... As a lifetime member of the "Pain and Sorrow Appreciation Society," I'm very happy to see him take it for a drive. But it ain't the "Pain and Sorrow" like I used to know with Kenny in the band. Step on the gas Joe!
This is fabulous video! Joe is playing so expressively! Just for the fun of it like the Huntsville, AL show in April when he had Eric Gales as guest! Speaking of having fun, Michael Rhodes is jamming out on bass! Obviously glad to be back and he looks great. I hope you have some more posts from this concert.
@@robb1252 The sign of a great musician! After all, it ain't the gear, it's the player! It's just such a contrast with the Israeli guy with the bleached hair (can't think of his name right now). He's a great drummer as well. But he's the only drummer I've seen who sometimes uses a crash cymbol as a ride. Drives me nuts! Sometimes, less is more. Glad you enjoyed the show!
I hear more Hendrix in Joe on this given night.. I guess Joe felt like play'n with a little Jimi Joint flavoring this time..Musicians do that a lot, display aspects of multiple influences they have !

Greatly appreciate this video! Truly something to behold watching him play that strat. This song… excellent!😎
You are so awesome JOE❤️ I love you really💕💞💕🕊
I was there as well. Great show; great night! Thanks for sharing the vid!
Great video! Thank you for sharing it! As much as I know Joe loves his Les Paul's I really enjoy watching him play a Strat.
He also played some Teles including one with a B bender.

Isn’t he an amazing talent!! It’s been my pleasure to see him numerous times, and he never, ever disappoints!
❤️ it was a great show
Was there last night !!!! Flat out CRAZY FUCKIN GREAT!!!!
Freaking awesome!!!
Hey Joe! Could we have an interview from the "blank your blinkers" female artist? She is really awesome.

Been a fan since 1995 saw Joe with Bloodline
I was there!!!
That tone!!!
Excellent video! What camera are you using to record?
Please come to the East Coast
That strat is absolutely sick
Meine Güte 🥳🥳
What's the name of this song?
Pain and Sorrow
New drummer?
Greg Morrow, who played drums with Anton Fig for the "Blues Of Desperation" recordings. He's supported Joe before on the road too. Great drummer!
Greg Morrow is current drummer. He’s been playing with Joe for quite some time now. Very good 👍🏻
Minimalist set! Even Fig has more drums than that.
@@carlwilliams6977 But he gets so much out of that set. I saw them last night at the Greek Theatre in L.A. Great show.

I was planning on attending but, the Delta virus is to be considered. And, I'm full vaccinated. I'll catch him on his next trip.
Glad you didn’t come
