note about nos boosting in the game…it auto grips the road and launches your car in whatever direction your nose is facing. your handling (grip or drift) affects how fast those bars fill while performing those actions its not viable to build a car for both since you sacrifice a maximum boost nos increase for the other…your nos refill fills faster by driving in oncoming traffic since it can be maintained for a longer period of time 😂 don’t take these skills into multiplayer or you’ll just lose every race…in fact id advise most people not to race online until they can manage double dipping the boost nos without using normal nos.
Just finished my first run in the story mode. A little tip for people who hate running away from heat level 4 and up cops that just spawn all over the place and don’t leave you alone after a race. First make sure you finish your race so and get all your money. After that just leave the game and come back in. You’ll spawn at a gas station close to Rydell’s Rides you just gotta drive 1000 yards and you’re done. If you’re heat level 5 be careful cause the game will spawn in like 2 corvettes and a regular cop car on your way there. Just cook it to the garage and you’ll be good. Got so tired of having to spend 20 minutes after a race on cop chases and one day I almost got busted so I quit and realized it spawned me in the city close to Rydell’s. Hopefully this helps some people that only want the money to go play with more cars like me screw all that chase nonsense.

I don't think the cops in this game are "easier" per se. I think they've eliminated the artificial difficulty, as now you're able to outmaneuver them via clever driving and killing the engine. So it's improved from bogus to challenging.
nahh spawning cop cars can have a tendency to just continuously keep spawning directly in front of the player if you’re traveling fast enough making a quick sharp turn extremely viable to lose 6 cars and a helicopter at the same time. 😂 in fact losing cops on this game is as easy as driving into oncoming traffic after making sharp turns since all of the cops try to aim for takedowns like a pit maneuver
The story in this game is really wierd. Pick a starter car, then pick another one a couple hours later... cant do the buy in races cuzz you cant come in first ever because your car isnt upgraded enough. I came in last quite often at first.

Beat the game. However I found myself spending most of my time just in lengthy cop chases just trying to get to races in the open world. The heat cops were way easier and less annoying. After the story I turned the difficulty down so I could get around the open world gathering collectibles without being in a police chase for an hour between objectives Also on higher heat levels if you are trying to avoid detection they will just spawn an undercover car in front of you to initiate a chase. Very artificial.I was able to get away from them every time in faster cars but after a while it’s just a chore.
@@glenmcl yeah at least in nfs heat you could cruise without worry in the day time. i wouldn’t mind them being in online but would just hope they are less abundant. There’s always a patrol of about 5 or 6 cops cruising around wherever you are on the map and you gotta tip toe around them just to drive to your next event.
You can see the little police badge above undercover cops and can thus ram into them and take them down before they spot you as long as you're paying decent attention to the road
😂😂😂 if you pay attention theres an auxiliary to make it take longer before police initiate chase and even with level 5 heat my b class buick can avoid detection if i’m not just sitting in the road idling.
There is also a little trick on this to entering between classes. You have the same car but lets say its between B and A. If you slightly tune the car to be a bit better, it can boost to an A Class Car to enter the A Class Events. But if you want to do thr B Class Events, just tune it down and it will enter those. Extra thing is that when you race in a lower rate car in a class, the side bet would raise a lot higher. I even used my Polestar 1 from an S Class to S+ in tight turn tracks and bet on A$AP Rocky that he would bet 22k if you beat him. Gets you a quick buck too even if you didn't win the race itself, but if you beat Rocky, you got the extra cash.
Tip: Just pay the $10-$15 and get the pack that gives you the nissian 350 and skyline gtr. Then you have a very nice advantage right at the start of the game.
The handling and mechanics on cars have really changed if you’re coming from NFS Heat to Unbound, it was a pretty big change but the handling seemed more as if you’re actually driving the car. I loved the great change in handling 4:11

Also if u turn your engine off helicopters can’t see u I found that very useful if your in a cop chase with just a help go off tod turn your engine of and you’ve escaped
you also need something overhead..cant just stop in the road and turn your car off 😂 big trees that you cant destroy work for this strategy. you could also just drive under a bridge or into a tunnel and lose them.
Definitely has been the most challenging version of the game for me... but enjoying it and it makes it a bit meaningful when I see "personal record" and stuff like that... it really makes you earn the parts/upgrades which can take more time but I suppose I feel I had to earn it vs being a piece of cake even on the easiest difficulty.
I avoided this game since its release because I was told it required an internet connection. I don't buy digital only games, games heavily focused on online multi-player, or games that require an internet connection. Now I know that you can play single player without internet, so I'm waiting for it to be delivered by mail.

Currently I am sitting at my 1st bought car and the event on saturday is coming up, and it says I need 4 cars with 4 different tiers, not sure how I am supposed to get the money to buy 3 more cars and fully upgrade them for the event? Another thing, I upgraded my car from tier B to tier A, but now, all the tier B races are locked, how come I cannot play them? Do I exclusively need to match each event with its tier car? Thanks man! Are you on the first week? The week 1 qualifier only requires an A class car! It's "The Grand" at the end of week 4 which will require 4 cars to use in the events, so you've got plenty of time and will have enough cash / cars by then :) For week 1 it'll mainly be "B" class events for the first few days, then later on in the week you'll get some A class events so will need to upgrade. You can revert the upgrades on your current car then pop them back on later into the week. Hope this helps, lmk if you've got anymore questions!
I just got nfs and I always have slow starts. It’s hard to keep up with everyone. But when the cops arrive I like to draft and slip stream which helps me climb places.
If you are about to start, you need to get your throttle in the green line. Fully rev doesnt help so look at your speedometer and try to get it in the green before it says "go"
Hi, I used to play NFS Heat back when I was on PlayStation. I then downloaded it a while ago on PC for the memories, and now I can’t stop playing it. It’s sad to see that NFS Heat doesn’t get updated anymore, and it’s very easy to pretty much complete the game, so I was thinking of buying another type of NFS. I heard that “NFS Unbound” was the best one. Is it worth buying? It looks more cartoony than NFS Heat, but maybe that’s just the exhaust effects that I saw (lmk though). But yea, in all conclusion, is it worth buying it? Is the community big enough to have fun with and actually meet people? And so on.
The one thing I struggle to understand is the race payouts. If I gotta have say $4k for a race buy in to even be allowed to race it then why is the buy in taken out of my winnings??? And what happened to the money I bought in with? Also, Why isn't there heat level bonuses like there was in NFS Heat? I've gotten away from level 5 cops a few times now but never has there been a bonus for doing so when you get back to the garage.
You get the buy in money back if you place high enough to earn a payout from the race. But I absolutely agree that they should bring back the heat multiplier!!!
@@ganjacatsafter escaping a chase the game awards you money for the difficulty of the chase with level 5 giving $1000 each time. your money goes the same place it goes when you gamble irl 😂 you buy in…money is not coming back to you unless you win and as the story blatantly tells you “Alec” fixes the races meaning your buy in goes to him so you can participate lmfaoo winnings are winnings and thus your buyin is always subtracted from your winnings cuz its not coming back. like irl casinos and gambling places are required to pay out a percentage (in a casino its like .8% of every dollar you put in a slot machine) making it entirely possible to run an entire night of races early on and end with a negative net balance. if a race buy in is $8000 late game and winnings are only $16000 for first place its a waste because at best you earn your money back which is why they say “big risk” as well as “big money” if the race doesn’t at least quadruple your buy in then you probably shouldn’t buy in.
Do you recc to do collectibles on multi?I guess yes because you will need this money more in multi then solo, and from what I know collectibles are shared between single and multi right?
I play on relaxed and the the cops and racers feel like it’s on intense my cars be fully upgraded and I still keep losing to Medusa,lyric and shimiza and it’s not my driving they just so much faster in straight lines and my cars be fully upgraded

What is weird for me is the car handling. It's totally different from Forza either horizon or motorsport. Also different from Dirt and such. Breaking is very effective in a short amount of meters when compared to Forza for example. And the fact that your rear can go all over the place is another big difference when compared to Forza.
Oddly enough the glitch is the reason I bought the game. Was using the 10hr trial, and the money glitch allowed me to compete with my friends at different grades. After seeing how customizable car builds were, I decided to buy the game. Probably wouldn't have if I had to count on $20k a race online
this game is a scam. everywhere in multiplayer there is someone playing with cheats. looks like ea don't care about anything else, besides their money. this game is terminated!
The cops feel easy um on week 3 using my first car THE BRZ. Even on tier 5 I get away no bother but map knowledge help tunnel jumps so they can follow then boost tour way away and your sorted. The problem I have I starting the first day on heat 5 I feel you spend alot of time trying to get away to get to first race lol eats up time but I've let myself get busted just to reset the tier for the cops
They really need to nerf the difficulty of the game. I played on easy and theres a difference between fair/challenging and just unbalanced and unfair. Hard mode also just feels flat out impossible in some races. The rubber banding is also f*cking rediculess!😤😤 I put the game down for now until they can do some rebalancing. Also, money in this game is really unnecessarily hard to get in singleplayer! This needs a fix. It is wayy too difficult to earn money early on. Im still stuck on week 1 of story and earn jack sh*t for money. This is all on easy mode. They need to fix this bullsh*t!
You kind of need to pick a good car early on or it's a bit of a struggle. Some of the races definitely for some reason feel harder than others. Like I race the same pack yet in some races they're easy but in others they're just obnoxious. I started with the ND Mazda MX-5 and man, it was slow and while it handles quite good, it can't keep up because it lacks power. But once I could upgrade it, it's been a dependable A class car. It can still feel a bit outclassed on higher speed races due to relatively low power but it'll out-maneuver everyone else due to being light. Also the buy ins make the money thing even more annoying because the prizes are lower than they actually are due to the buy-in getting taken off. There's one of the tunnels relatively close to one of the safehouses where it's an easy Heat 5 escape because for some reason the cop cars can't drive through it and you can get 5k per escape with the Get Away Driver upgrade. Otherwise it's 2.5k per escape. It's Pro I believe so you'll need to unlock it. It's not bad for getting a bit of money but it also gets tiresome after a while.
This game threw me off when i first seen it i swore it was a nfs ug or ug2 with effects to it n wasnt my thing but since the update i feel its slightly better since you can turn off the visuals
No sadly even if you got the palace edition with the cars you still have to pay in game cash to get them. The only free cars you can get are from races some are cool. Some are not so cool.

In chase get away caught by chopper over and over at least 10 minutes did a race then all over again ended up rage quiting peice of shit of a game

i dislike how easy it is to build heat, or that it transfers from the day because in heat it felt like a small grind to get your heat lvl up

oh the charger is pretty slow tbf. If you're still early game, it might be worth starting over and picking either of the other cars!

You can do either, just remember for the grand you need a car for each class

unfortunately yes, but it's only a problem in S+ race events as one of the AI is a joke to try keep up with

@@HostileProd I've played it on PS5 and it looked pretty much identical, although it's more performance / less res on PS5.
PC i have a 3080 / 1440p display and managed to run it at max settings, just depends what you prefer :)

How are you supposed to upgrade your garage and car if you go straight to the qualifier?
I sarted with a FIREBIRD/TRANSAM and it sucks hardcore. I played alot of racing games and i lose all the time even on the lowest settings HAHA
What is weird for me is the car handling. It's totally different from Forza either horizon or motorsport. Also different from Dirt and such. Breaking is very effective in a short amount of meters when compared to Forza for example. And the fact that your rear can go all over the place is another big difference when compared to Forza.
This need for speed has to be one for the worst one ..

ummm upgrading your garage is not the only way to get elite parts, some cars come with them on stock.
You know it’s crazy how the game hasn’t been out for a month there already a money glitch for story and online
Oddly enough the glitch is the reason I bought the game. Was using the 10hr trial, and the money glitch allowed me to compete with my friends at different grades. After seeing how customizable car builds were, I decided to buy the game. Probably wouldn't have if I had to count on $20k a race online

The buy-ins cut into your winnings so it punishes poor placement. Which is stupid really. They probably should've just limited them to the qualifiers.

I played yesterday for 2 hours straight losing the cops in Tier B... I just wanted to do a mission but they didn't let me. It is really challenging
Low tier cars are a struggle to get away from the cops, was the only time i got busted so far 😭

You can always hide under the bridge just outside the city and that's a simple way to lose the cops.
The cops feel easy um on week 3 using my first car THE BRZ. Even on tier 5 I get away no bother but map knowledge help tunnel jumps so they can follow then boost tour way away and your sorted. The problem I have I starting the first day on heat 5 I feel you spend alot of time trying to get away to get to first race lol eats up time but I've let myself get busted just to reset the tier for the cops
They really need to nerf the difficulty of the game. I played on easy and theres a difference between fair/challenging and just unbalanced and unfair. Hard mode also just feels flat out impossible in some races. The rubber banding is also f*cking rediculess!😤😤
I put the game down for now until they can do some rebalancing.
Also, money in this game is really unnecessarily hard to get in singleplayer! This needs a fix.
It is wayy too difficult to earn money early on. Im still stuck on week 1 of story and earn jack sh*t for money. This is all on easy mode. They need to fix this bullsh*t!
You kind of need to pick a good car early on or it's a bit of a struggle. Some of the races definitely for some reason feel harder than others. Like I race the same pack yet in some races they're easy but in others they're just obnoxious. I started with the ND Mazda MX-5 and man, it was slow and while it handles quite good, it can't keep up because it lacks power. But once I could upgrade it, it's been a dependable A class car. It can still feel a bit outclassed on higher speed races due to relatively low power but it'll out-maneuver everyone else due to being light. Also the buy ins make the money thing even more annoying because the prizes are lower than they actually are due to the buy-in getting taken off. There's one of the tunnels relatively close to one of the safehouses where it's an easy Heat 5 escape because for some reason the cop cars can't drive through it and you can get 5k per escape with the Get Away Driver upgrade. Otherwise it's 2.5k per escape. It's Pro I believe so you'll need to unlock it. It's not bad for getting a bit of money but it also gets tiresome after a while.

No sadly even if you got the palace edition with the cars you still have to pay in game cash to get them. The only free cars you can get are from races some are cool. Some are not so cool.
